Gonna be a big day tomorrow for these two.

And for us as well of course.

Get a good night sleep President and Mrs. Obama. It is quite likely that the NEXT four years will be just as challenging as the LAST four years.

I can't think of anyone more deserving. God Bless you Mr. President, Mrs. First Lady, Malia, and Sasha!

I just love them. They are such a wonderful couple. I am so happy, and grateful to have them as our President and first lady. History will show President Obama as one of the best, if not the best President's of all time. FL Michelle is the best FL we have ever had. She is warm, down to earth, personable, she loves people. I admire her SO much. She has inspired me in SO many ways.

God bless all of you who helped make this day possible. WE DID IT! FOUR MORE YEARS!

More lies coming from the walking facade in the next 4 years.

I wish he'd just leave the politics behind and be a nice person who DOESNT say gross things about a large segment of Americans.

@7:52 PM The Lies are spewn daily by Fox News.
Maybe some day soon Fox will explain Todd Palin's Sex Trafficking, Track's Drug and Alcohol use, Bristol's hidden babies, Willow's Birth of Trig at age 13(FAKED BY SARAH), and the MYSTERIOUS DEATHS: DAR MILLER, CURTIS MENARD, and Todd's Prostitutes.

In case you didn't notice, this post is about the President, not Mitt Romney.

What is 7:52 talking about? Obama says mean things about people? What are you, in 2nd grade? I actually wish he'd open up more and say what needs to be said to his haters and detractors, but he's too much of a gentleman for that.

Don't worry sweetheart, you're world isn't ending, just changing, and for the better! We survived 8 years of Bushie JR running our country into the red and starting two unfunded conflicts in the Middle East. You people will survive 4 more years of Obama just fine.

      ======================
He has never done this. You are thinking of Mitt Romney, who claimed that millions upon millions of retirees, veterans, disabled people, children, and hard-working, low-paid Americans were lazy "takers" hoping for handouts.

As for calling him a facade, he has far more in the way of intelligence, education, and accomplishments than the vast majority of his ill-informed, un-educated detractors. Such as yourself, or you wouldn't have said such a stupid thing.

Have Sarah and Todd ever been that happy at an event? They will never be the Guests of honor at an Inaugural Ball. Maybe Toad can take Sarah to a PLAYERS'(PIMPS') BALL. BWAHAHAHA.

    Hey, considering the alternative...*cough cough*..

Yeah, look at all he accomplished in the past four years, against great odds. I'm grateful for all the things he's done so far and will support him in the next four years.

Hey Scottsdale, is that you Todd and Sarah? Can't stay away from IM? Creepy Chuckie Jr. is here enough for all of you: UNITED STATES, WASILLA, LOS ANGELES, ANCHORAGE, and SEATTLE. Keep up the 'clicks' for Gryphen, he knows who you are. It is very cordial of Gryphen to post most of your DRIVEL.

One day I'd like to see a President who says, "It's ridiculous to spend money on a spectacle like this when we are running a deficit". "I'm going to quietly sworn in, and all money that would have been spent on festivities will be put towards the deficit."

Much of the public inaugural is privately funded. It would cost a lot less for a public inaugural if he didn't have to have triple the secret service protection due to the preponderance of crazy right wingers with guns.

So point us to your complaints about the Bush spectacle, x2.

      Move on. NOW.

    4. Bullshit. Did you complain about any of the Bush inaugurations? No? Then you are a lying hypocrite.

Also, learn where the funding for the inauguration activities comes from.

The next four years may be as challenging, but not having to worry about reelection has GOT to take an ENORMOUS amount of pressure off the President and his staff.

God bless the Obamas. I am not religious or go to a church. But, I know that they are deserving of the most ultimate blessing or reward that the universe can possibly give them. They are the elite of the elite of the Jedi order, or any realm of hierarchy order, that we as earthlings on the earth plane are subject to or part of...

You know I thought that it would take an entire term to clear up GWBs mess and then in his second term he could clear the decks for his own agenda. Unfortunately here we are still cleaning up the mess. Guns bringing back in legislation that GWB dismantled, economy still dealing with debt that GWB created, economy still dealing with unemployment rate from GFC. Wars still one to shut down.

I ask you who would want his job. You are dam lucky to have him.

    An Oz perspective

I agree, Oz anonymous, that we're lucky to have him. The country is going through enormous changes, and he is doing a spectacular job of leading the way. I don't agree with some of his positions. I think he's behind the curve on some issues. But this is a complex mixture of a country, and the way forward must consider all views. He is thoughtful and intelligent; he understands the difficulties he faces; and yet he keeps moving the country to a better place.

I'm thrilled that he was re-elected. His campaign strategy was excellent. He blew away all the talking points about why it wasn't possible to win. I'm proud that the movement to a more equitable country is continuing, even if slower than I would like.
