Good news! Secretary of State Clinton was just released from the hospital. Update!

Courtesy of Contact Music:

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has left hospital in New York after spending the New Year recovering from a blood clot between her skull and brain.

The former First Lady was admitted to New York Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday (30Jan12) after doctors found the clot during a medical test. She is expected to make a full recovery and plans to return to work next week (beg07Jan13).

Spokesman Philippe Reines says, "The Secretary continues to recuperate at home. She had long planned to take this holiday week off, so she had no work schedule. She looks forward to getting back to the office next week and resuming her schedule."

I have been watching MSNBC slap the Right Wing around for the last few days for originally accusing Hillary of have "Benghazi fever,"  I wonder how long they will give her to recover before they start demanding that she testify before Congress?

I heard somebody, and I don't remember who, saying that the Republican party is essentially terrified of Clinton and are concerned that if they can't somehow stop her from getting elected SHE will do even more damage to their party than Obama has.

I find that statement pretty easy to believe.

Update: Chelsea Clinton sent out this tweet of thanks to the doctors who took care of her mom.

What is it the Right says? You are so afraid of conservative women that you have to attack them for everything? Well how do they explain their treatment of HRC?

Anyway, predictions for 2013 coming out already and the has-been-who-never-was-or-can-be is actually on the list:

●Sarah Palin will try her hand at a series of economic, domestic and foreign policy speeches to signal a presidential run in 2016. Media will be ecstatic. Party stalwarts will be apoplectic.

ha hahahahahahahahh hahahahahahaha. . .yeah, with her crack-pot think tank Googlers comprised of the Heaths/Palins paid by her superPAC, she'll really be able to distinguish herself as super smart and awesome for the voting public and whatnot.

I'm happy to know that she will make a full recovery.

The GOP seems to be the ones pushing for her to run in 2016.

When Hillary does testify in front of the Republicans' little Benghazi kangaroo court -- I hope they televise it.

They think they're going to push Hillary around?

    HOOO boy...

Like I say... I sure hope it's televised!

  4. Hillary has said a number of times she does not intend to run again. The GOP media continues the story - for their own weird reasons.

She looks ill in that picture - I hope she takes enough time to fully recover - the GOP and the media never let up on her or the President - shame they didn't get George Bush & Co to work a little harder - then the recovery from those 8 disastrous years may have been easier.

Psst, that isn't a pic of her leaving the hospital - note Chelsea's very summer dress. It was leaving some conference.

Newt was person who said GOP had no chance against Hillary when she has the support of Bill and if the President is holding favorable numbers!!!

Never thought I'd hear Newt spew 'truthful words'!!

  8. She personifies awesome.

She looks good. Hillary, go home and take a long nap; don’t accept any calls. Let Chelsea or Bill (especially Bill!) handle it.

I was so glad to hear she's heading home, wish her a speedy and full recovery. I have to say that I'm so proud of how Chelsea turned into one pretty awesome young lady! Bill and Hillary showed that one can be in high office and still raise a normal child!
She worked hard, studied, graduated and got married. No booze, drugs, unwed motherhood, abstinence education, modeling, reality shows, blog, plastic surgery or STD's.

    Did I miss anything?

All our good wishes go with Hillary....and the GOP should be krapping a big one. They will lose congress in 2014 and with 2 more years of Obama doing what he set out to do....the country will be in such better shape Hillary will really kick some ass. 2012 is gonna prove to be the end of Rove and Grover, we already proved money couldn't buy us, let the sane Republicans come back and vote out the rest.
The first woman president is our next goal and you know Obama will be behind her 100%.
