Parenting done right. Celebrity style.

I would hope that every parent be as open minded and accepting.

After all who they love should never change how you love them.

Excellent stand by a wonderfully talented, intelligent and beautiful actress!

And OT, but as long as we're talking about the best of the best, Julianne Moore just won Golden Globes' Best Actress for Game Change! The movie itself wins in best movie/miniseries category, and Ed Harris wins best supporting actor in same!

And the cherry on top HAS to be that the evening's hosts were Amy Pohler and TINA FEY!!!! Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall in that greenroom!?!?!?

My Netflix queue indicates a "long wait". Maybe I should check to see if Sarah Palin's Alaska, Life's a Tripp or Stars Earn Stripes could get to me any sooner, hennhh?

Isn't it funny that now that it's gotten a new set of awards, it will get new press, new analysis, new attention. then there will be a new wave of curosity about the movie for those who haven't seen it yet. Which will make them check it out and that many more people will witness the wicked witch from wasilla in all her meltdown glory.

It was such 'kismet' for Tina and Julianne to BOTH be there. Sarah Palin really has become a punchline, huh? She was handed the world on a silver platter....and now she's a total hasbeen.

Gryphen is working on his revealing post that he promised for Monday, that's why he hasn't put up the golden globe news yet. He'll have something good to say about this too tomorrow. Looking forward to both!

Julianne Moore recognized the two most important women in the 2008 election: Tina Fey and Katie Couric. The director of Game Change indicated that now there were three people who could imitate Sarah Palin: Tina Fey, Julianne Moore, and Sarah Palin.

The movie, Game Change, Ed Harris and Julianne Moore all won awards. That movie also showed what a light weight Sarah Palin was. If the movie, and the book it was based on, were lies, Sarah has never been shy in getting her lawyers to threaten a lawsuit. Yes, Sarah is a punchline now.

Perfect. Just perfect. Guess Kate won't be lining up for the new Citadel commune in Idaho. Nor will anyone with half a brain cell.

I love her response! I'm definitely in her camp and if my 7 yo granddaughter picks a woman instead of man to love, it's okay by me.

BTW, Sarah's parenting is definitely in question and I'm sure she should be blowing loudly soon - the Golden Globes destroyed her :) hee, hee, hee.

Kate seems like a loving, sweet mother. What's the matter? Doesn't she dream of putting those kids in a reality show? blogging about them? dragging then around like little props? Hell, what are those kids good for if you can't exploit them, a least a little bit?

Off topic but Ed Opperman (Opperman Investigations)
will be featured on ABC Nightline 1/18/1013
He will discuss computers, cell phones and e-mail to catch people. It says nothing about Shailey Tripp but sounds interesting.

I have a new family in my community. The woman is a real piece of work. She is supposedly has a Ph.D. in Chem/Physics, (Texas A&M - go figure) but she won't vaccinate her children and homeschools them. I was ready to give her the benefit of the doubt, until she came over to the house.

Her 7 year old daughter spied my son's tadpole which was almost a frog. "Look Mommy!" she squeals with delight, "A fish with legs!" My husband gently informs the child that that is a frog, not a fish. This woman jumps in and says "We don't believe in evolution. We had a tadpole, but I'm glad it died before it turned into a frog."

OOOOOOookay then! I don't suppose she'll be bringing her kids by my house anytime soon - if ever again. In my house we celebrate diversity and encourage critical thinking.

I have no tolerance for people who will stunt their own children's mental and spiritual development because of their own personal fears and ideals. I am here to try to teach my child and give him a sense of self-worth and maturity. If my son grows up to be something I'm not, it won't be because he rebelled against me, it will be because it is his own informed life decision.
