I will resist the urge to mention that the Catholic church is in a unique position to identify what is, and what is not, child abuse.
Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

It is hard for me to imagine too many things more enjoyable than watching a young earth Creationist shut down by a Catholic priest.
I will resist the urge to mention that the Catholic church is in a unique position to identify what is, and what is not, child abuse.

Not to rain on your parade Jesse, but this gentleman represents the Church of England, not the Catholic Church.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't the GOP "leaders" take that position instead of bowing and kissing the feet of the fundamentalists?
ReplyDeleteShades of the arguments priest Georges LeMaitre laid on Albert Einstein regarding the nascent “Big Bang" theory... big Al took some convincing before he'd countenance the idea.
ReplyDeleteStraw man? Mental? That was their defense? Jesus H. Christ.
ReplyDeleteBless that priest (and I say that, never.)
Well, here in the U.S. I find it repugnant that PUBLIC school curriculum is being bastardized by the religious right. They scream about THEIR tax dollars being spent on abortion yet, turn around and waste My tax dollars on ruining public education. It's time for liberals to stand up and be the squeaky wheel for once and shut down this kind of conversation because it only legitimizes their zealotry.
ReplyDeletePondering why creationists aren't teaching their young to jump off tall buildings considering the fact gravity is yet another theory not ordained in the bible.
ReplyDeleteCarry on.
