I don't actually believe in the devil, but if there were one he would look and sound just like this guy.

This program is being broadcast on Showtime, which is one of the few cable channels I don't have.

That might be a good thing since from what I saw in this clip, I am relatively sure I would desperately want to throw bricks at the screen every time Cheney's face appeared.

The man may not be Satan, but he is the next worst thing we currently have living on this planet.

I try not to hate, but in the case of George W. and his Svengali Dick Cheney, I am afraid I fail in that endeavor.

  1. Me too Gryphen. I don't need to watch the trailer above; my feelings about Cheney will never change and further evidence to validate them will just be bad for me ... he needs to pass over ... forever.

  3. I used to think suffering triggered empathy, but it didn’t with this man. From 911 to yellowcake to centrifuge tubes, he’s a cold-eyed liar.

That he admits he spends no time reflecting upon his actions and decisions is damning enough (because he thinks he is always right or has no conscience), but also that he lacks any concern or compassion for the consequences of them condemns him.

That he had "better things to do" than serve his counrty during the Vietnam war and sought five deferments to avoid risking his life is shameful, but he never hesitates to advocate sending others to risk theirs is dispicable.

Sociopath. Makes for a "great" CEO and we have too many of them in the halls of money and power.

I always thought it was too convenient that when his student deferment ran out and the rules changed, he married then impregnated his wife to match the rules.

The man gives me the creeps - he even looks evil when he speaks. It just spews from him...in words and deeds!

He may be able to fool the idiots in this country because they seem to WANT to be lied to, but there is no way he or W can confuse the EU and the people there. I mean, there is a reason neither of them DARES go there, right? wink wink.

  9. I think of Bush as the "Scarecrow" (if I only had a brain) and Cheney as the "Wizard of Oz", a normal old man with no real magical powers except control over the "Scarecrow's" brain. He was more dangerous as VP than he would have been as president!

  10. The only thing that throws me off from hating Cheney completely is that he is vocal about his love for his daughter, who is lesbian, for his daughter's wife, and his surprisingly open and public support for same-sex marriage. He first voiced that support when he was active Vice President for George Bush, and he voiced it during the beginning of the long "Christian" opposition to equality in marriage. And that was while Bush was sitting as President.

I was stunned when I heard him give a positive response to some newscaster who asked him how he could oppose gay marriage while having a lesbian daughter, and he came right out and said "The President and I disagree about this matter. I support gay marriage."

For everything else he did, I consider him the Anti-Christ. But for this one big thing...... well, I'll welcome him to the Truly Big Tent for it.

    1. Sorry wolfbitch, loving one's daughter doesn't bring back over a hundred thousand dead people for not. This lying, draft dodging POS doesn't deserve ANY kind of sympathy.

I agree that Cheney's views on this are good ones, but bear in mind that he does NOT purport himself to be a "social issues" conservative. There are plenty of people with libertarian views about sexuality, abortion, etc., who are still perfectly willing to play fast and loose with the lives and livelihoods of Americans. Cheney is one of those people.

He is just protecting his own flesh and blood. I give him no credit for that.
Hey Dick, we're waiting for you to reject that heart. Or get a fatal opportunistic infection from the anti-rejection meds. It may take a while more as you get the best immediate healthcare in the world, unlike the rest of us who need to wait 6 months to see a good cardiologist. But, your electrolytes could get all whacked out from the rejection meds, too and send you into a fatal arrhythmia that you can't get out of.
See, just like a prayer warrior, I know what to ask for specifically, and claim it in the name of all critically thinking peaceful humans .

What people say and what they do are two entirely different things. He may vocally support his daughter, but his actions served to disenfranchise LGBT people.

    5. I agree with both of you -- his support of this one (to me important) issue does not in any way give him a free pass on the rest of the truly evil stuff he did. But this one thing makes me wonder if inside that Darth Vader persona there isn't at least one good brain cell left.

Then, there's the fact that the day he was offered a heart transplant, he turned it down and said he would wait his turn with everybody else, which is why it took eleven months (approx.) for him to get the transplant, which is standard transplant waiting time.

So that's TWO good cells in his evil brain.

And several billion evil ones. He still needs to stand trial for what he did about Afghanistan and Iraq and Guantanamo and The Patriot Acts I and II... and all the rest.

He didn't say that until after their 2nd campaign, so any kudos you want to give him should be modified a bit. He kept silent on the subject until is couldn't hurt him politically. A coward throughout his life.

I think it would be safe to say he is a sociopath, devoid of empathy or any human emotion....just look at his trained dog of a daughter Liz, she spouts the exact same evil. I do have all the premium channels and would gladly give you my passwords Gryphen, but Showtime on Demand is not offered from my cable company, so not gonna work. I am sure it will be on netflix or some other internet outlet...too many people would want to watch.

  12. One word for Darth Cheney....PSYCHOPATH!

Notice how he was rattling off answers and then when the interviewer asked him what his "main fault was"...that soulless motherfucker did the ole...."hmmm" lonnnggg pause...and then smirked and said "I don't spend a lot of time thinking about my faults"!

Go straight to fucking H E L L...you piece of shit bastard!

    There's an old saying:
"The villain is the hero of his own story."

In other words, the biggest, scariest, most evil villains truly do not know that they are villains. Cheney sees himself as a hero, a crusader for what's right. And it is absolutely chilling to watch him defend himself.

I read a brief interview with the documentary's maker and he seems to be smitten by Dick Cheney, loves the fact that Cheney would never shift from a position on any issue. So, no thanks, I won't waste my time watching the love-fest film. I agree, Gryphen, Dick Cheney is downright evil.

The only thing that President Obama has disappointed me on is he hasn't allowed Dumbya and Dickhead to be tried for war crimes.

He is a sociopathic psychopathic Dick. This man should die a slow, excrutiatingly painful death ,with a mind that is clear to reflect on all his evil.
Then I am baking a cake to celebrate his death.
    That felt good to say.

Dick Cheney is pretty much the only person I would, if I heard he'd died, CHEER. He is an amoral, lying, thieving coward, who's done more damage to our country than any person in history.

We could retire our national debt by making his tombstone into a urinal & charging people $5 to piss on his grave.

And yes, I know that is a very ugly thing to say. It doesn't come close to being as ugly as the things Cheney has done.

I don't believe in the Devil, either, but I know evil when I see it. I'm sure history won't be kind to this man AND the puppet his hand was in for eight years straight.
