Let's start the day with a little James Carville shall we? ”Any day that you have more Sarah Palin and less Chris Christie is a good day for James Carville.”

Courtesy of Mediaite:

“I think this one is somehow another one that’s particularly hard for the Republicans and they like are mad at each other right now to me in an amusing way but if i were a Republican, almost an unhealthy way. They’re really lashing out at each other and blaming back and forth every day. The Club For Growth story was kind of my idea for a significant story that they’re really going after — naming the people they’re going after right now which, of course, is gonna have a chilling effect on other Republicans who think they may be up,” said Carville.

“CPAC to me has totally diminished its credibility as an organization. When you basically, Chris Christie s a national leader, and their explanation about why, the next day about why…It’s like an All Star Game, they said he didn’t have a good year,” said Matthew Dowd, a frequent This Week panelist and Republican strategist.

“They invite Sarah Palin who wasn’t competent enough to keep a Fox News contract? But she’s invited to a CPAC meeting? I mean to me, they basically, many people, Karl and many people, decided that the voters out there don’t know what they’re doing. That the votes who like Chris Christie, and the votes who like other candidates, they’re really mixed up and we’re going to tell them what the truth is. And whatever that’s a strategy on either side, when you’re trying to tell the voters they’re wrong, it’s a bad move,” said Dowd.

Carville got the last laugh, of course, saying,”Any day that you have more Sarah Palin and less Chris Christie is a good day for James Carville.”

"They invite Sarah Palin who wasn’t competent enough to keep a Fox News contract?" Gotta love that!

I assume that the folks over at the Sea O'Pee have not seen this one yet, as they have not managed to drum up the same sense of outrage that they demonstrated over Steve Schmidt's remarks from Saturday night's Real Time.

Personally I thought this was much more of an insult to Palin and the people who still fawn over her.

Oh well they have a lot on their plates what with charging up their scooters and waging that constant battle against reality.

Schmidt is hated more because he is perceived by the flying monkeys as the one who caused Queen Esther to lose the election. He wouldn't let Sarah be Sarah, which would be the lying, hateful, attention whore that she is. Remember, she and her sycophants thought of her as the top of the ticket, not as second in line.

That is exactly right: the BEST thing for the Democratic Party is more Sarah Palin, more Rush Limbaugh, more Sean Hannity.

Nothing drives voters towards progressivism faster than allowing Sarah Palin to screech her nonsensical word-salad. Give her a larger platform!

Where's Michele Bachmann? Get her out there babbling, too. And Herman Cain. And Louis Gohmert.

Get a camera and microphone in their faces as often as possible so the Democrats can take back the House and get even more seats in the Senate.

I would LOVE to see CNN or MSNBC give Sarah Palin her own show where she can interview Glenn Beck and Mitt and McCain and Miss Lindsey Graham...

The more the Republicans get their crazy-ass conservative tea-bagging message out - the better the progressive Democrats' chances in the next election.

    Slightly o/t:

Every time I hear socialism, Marxism and Communism lumped together, I wonder if the speakers really, really don't know the profound differences among these, or if they just hope their uneducated listeners haven't a clue? Do they take a Marxist view of the steady climb of the Dow to record levels? Do they think its socialist to require that each segment of society contribute to the roads, airports, schools, courts, police, as well as the armed forces that make it so easy for our society to let private enterprise flourish? Do they really believe that our government has more in common with North Korea, Cuba, Angola and China?
Finally, despite the three Palin adult children's
shaky knowledge of the real world, why don't they go to Southeastern so they can become "college" graduates.
Oh, yeah: No matter how academically undemanding the Southeastern curriculum, there would still be a modicum of work and energy demanded of the students, even mature, happy celebrities such as the Palin kids. They might even be required to attend church services and read the Bible.
Finally, when the REpublicans demand cuts in "entitlements" -- does that mean that Mitt Romney and his over-65 friends will reject accepting Medicare and Social Security? Will the Congressional GOP cut their salaries and reject future government pensions? Will they tell their parents to stop being "takers" by accepting any of these "entitlements"?
Will they tell the more-than-one-sixth of the people in this rich nation -- mostly white people -- who are hungry to stop whining and start chopping up their furniture to heat their homes when unemployment benefits run out, but no new jobs appear?
The stupidity and hypocrisy are so glaring that we've stopped seeing it, most of the time.
In the meantime, despite Citizens United's virtually unlimited amount of cash focussed on defeating Barack Obama, he won! Clearly, it's the media's fault that not every message could be bought.

I heard something about "means testing" this morning for Medicare meaning people like McGramps who (I think) gets Medicaid won't be able to get it as all the other rich bastards either :)
Also these congress should not get pension for life.
While their busy cutting OURS they are feathering their own nests, time to stop that NOW!

Not once there did they say anything serious about SP. She is a joke, a punchline and nothing more, and isn't that delicious. I agree, give her more rope to hang the Rethugs with as it will hasten their end. Give that woman (and I say that most generously) a TV show somewhere, anywhere. If you want full employment (for comedians) give her a show.

"CPAC, to me, has totally diminished its credibility as an organization," Dowd agreed. "And you invite Sarah Palin, who wasn't competent enough to keep a Fox News contract? But she's invited to CPAC meeting?"

Romneys give Fox 'News' interview to remind us why we're all glad they're not in the White House

What's amazing is that the Republicans, after their resounding loss of women, Latinos, Asians and Blacks, admitted they need to be more accepting and 'look to the future.'

So they invite Gingrich, Mittens, Santorum and the half term, half wit $creech as speakers???!!! Wow, that will really draw in new voters.

Back to the future is the R's new motto!!

More knives out for our lovely Ashley:

Conservative site ‘Daily Caller’ chides Ashley Judd for nude scenes

The conservative news site The Daily Caller mocked actress and activist Ashley Judd on Sunday night for doing nude scenes in her films.

“We are used to knowing just about everything there is to know about serious political candidates,” entertainment editor Taylor Bigler said. “But will Judd be the first potential senator who has — literally — nothing left to show us?”

Judd, a Kentucky native, has reportedly been considering moving back to challenge incumbent Rep. Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Citing Mr.Skin.com, a site that specializes in cataloging celebrity on-screen nudity, Bigler offered an inventory of Judd’s nude scenes, saying, “The actress has bared her breasts in several films and has had some raunchy sex scenes in others.”

    http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/03/04/conservative-site-daily-caller-chides-ashley-judd-for-nude-scenes/

Oh NO, Gee whillikers! Bared her breasts? OMG, absolutely PEARL CLUTCHING! Raunchy sex scenes? Oh the horrors!

What a bunch of bullshit. And you KNOW it had to be the Daily Caller, with that little weasel that runs it. If not them, Breitfart will get in on the action and then The Blaze will throw in their 2 cents. McConnell must be really nervous if this is the kind of stuff that is surfacing. I said it would get ugly, and we ain't seen nuthin' yet!

I checked out c4palin today and got depressed. I feel so sorry for people like that. From the mamcgriz lady that pretends to be a homesteader (clearly fantasy) to the loony John norton that is wildly unhinged, they are a lonely little bunch. Do I need to even bring up Brian Anus? just...ick.
I'm done picking on them. It's like kicking a puppy. They are an utterly harmless little fringe club of people with noone else to talk to all day...sharing conspiracy theories and praising chuckles. I won't look there again for a while, too sad.
