Someone needs to make a compilation video of all the instances of Republicans running away from reporters. It seems to be occurring with more and more frequency over the past few years...

Why not follow-up with a written question delivered on camera to the office and also read live on-air putting the "run-away" politician on public notice that there's no "away" from the question to which they can run?

It wouldn't have been a stunt if the elected Representative who made false allegations hadn't tried to outrun her questioner -- and the questions -- to be confronted by facts alternate to her "reality."

ReplyDeleteBachmann lives in the most conservative district in Minnesota. If she tried to run for an office outside of this district she would not have a chance. It sounds like her opponent in 2012, Jim Graves, is going to run against her again in 2014. I predict he will win.

Many have focused on Bachmann returning to form by saying things that are crazy, but there is a much bigger fish frying. Michele Bachmann’s latest right wing ‘episode’ has done major damage to the RNC’s efforts to fix their party. Just a few days ago, the talk was centered on the RNC’s autopsy report on how they lost the 2012 election. The discussion was centered on how Republicans could repair their party. Three days later, Michele Bachmann’s rant has firmly placed the Republican Party back on the same path that it was before.
When Michele Bachmann uncorks a rant about Obamacare, Medicaid, or Benghazi she confirms the widely held belief that the Republican Party is completely out of step with the rest of the country. Bachmann comments will get all the headlines, and she makes all Republicans look crazy.
The RNC doesn’t get it. Their problem isn’t “minority outreach,” or better data collection. Their problem is Republicans like Rep. Michele Bachmann.

As I recall she was related to the wealthy Kuntwhistles of Kuntwhistle, Kuntwhistle, Pennyfarthing and Kousins, the famous peach pit exporters and founders of the American Peach Pit Museum based in either far southwestern Alabama or northeastern Southern California.
