Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey
i immediately had the same reaction. it's much more likely a woman drives this truck. from my experience, women are more likely to put bumper stickers on their rides and women are much more likely to have the "cajones" to put their political beliefs out there for all the world to see.
Yep, and it depends on where in Texas this was. It's not unusual to see cars and trucks like this in Austin or Houston. However, someone sporting this stuff in a rural area or in Collin County where I live would stick out like a sore thumb. I, too, think this might be a woman's truck. The ONLY time I have ever seen a car around here that was decorated in these kinds of stickers, a woman was driving it.
There are lots of liberals in Texas. I have close family in Texas who are very liberal. They don't even think of themselves as liberal, they just have the ability to see through the bullshit. Texas teabaggers are working like hell to wipe out any kind of meaningful education system so they can continue to mislead the populace and stay in control. They will fail eventually and Texas will go blue.
I think that over the years, Texans have considered themselves the uneducated poor cousins of the rest of the country and have resorted to pecker measuring contests that inadequately endowed people resort to in order to feel better about their shortcomings.
I remember how Alaska becoming a state was such a huge blow to their collective egos because all they ever had to brag about was how big Texas was and all of a sudden they were relegated to Number 2. NOBODY else in the country ever cared which state was the biggest. They whined about Alaska for years and someone from Alaska made the statement that they has better quit whining or they would divide Alaska in two and Texas would then become number 3 in size.
Texas is now purple, very near turning blue, so I don't quite know what the fuss is all about. If you are shocked by this truck, I would suggest ya'll come down and visit Austin or San Antonio. Austin is much more fun, but in San Antonio Mayor Castro governs more people than live in all of Alaska(just a fun fact you you)
Now, now, Gryph, don’t judge us too harshly. Even here in super conservative Hutto, Texas (look it up!). The worst that would happen if this truck were parked at the Wag-A-Bag would be major eye rolling. Actual Texans are just too polite to say anything to someone driving this truck. Tell you what, I don’t judge Alaskans As Seen On TV (you know who I’m talking about), so please don’t judge Texans by that same standard. Thanks!
Georgia GOP Goes Wild and Passes Gun Licenses for the Recently Hospitalized Mentally Ill
...Legislators in Georgia’s House voted 117-56 on Thursday to allow people who have voluntarily sought inpatient treatment for mental illness or substance abuse to get licenses. The same bill would force officials to check on whether applicants have received involuntary treatment in the past five years before issuing licenses. Georgia also may change its laws to allow people to carry guns in churches, bars and on college campuses, contrary to what’s happening elsewhere in the United States.
Best bumpersticker I haven't seen before: "Born Okay the First Time"! Up here in the GWN (Great White North -- Canuck-style) we don't go in for bumperstickers too much -- maybe too polite?
It didn't catch my eye at first, but the "fish" emblem altered to a 'science' emblem was pretty clever.

Why do you say "guy"?

ReplyDeletePoor fellow lives among shit bags. I was there and I know.
ReplyDeleteThat's great! Don't mess with Texas liberals.
ReplyDeleteI love car trips, and I have had concerns about driving through some of these redneck states with my Obama/Biden bumper sticker.
Look at battlegroundtexas.com sometime. You'll see what we liberals are up to in TX.
ReplyDeleteThat, and because I'm a liberal contraception using slut, I'll give him some godless non-procreational loving too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those bumper stickers! Some of them I've never heard before but they are great!
ReplyDeleteBorn OK, The First Time
Come the Rapture, Can I have your car?
Awesome.
