When it comes to taking down lying political blowhards perhaps NOBODY does it better than Lawrence O'Donnell. Let's get out some popcorn and watch what he does to Ted Cruz.

God that was satisfying!

Ever since I watched that exchange between Dianne Feinstein and this tool, I have had this almost overwhelming desire to see him get his ass kicked on camera.

I think Lawrence gave us the closest representation of that we are likely to see.

  1. Ted Cruz even looks like Joe McCarthy, except Ted has a little more hair.

These Tea Baggers can only be talking to their Medicare constituents. Who else even remembers the "Communist menace"? Did no one at Princeton or Harvard teach Ted Cruz that in 1989-91, the Communist bloc fell, one country at a time? That Soviet Russia isn't Soviet anymore?
The only Communists to be afraid of, really, are the Chinese, who are really a totalitarian Capitalist regime.
The two wars we've been fighting for ten years -- at an enormous cost on every front -- are not against Communists. The Taliban are not Communists. Al Queda are not Communists.
Ted Cruz and all these flim-flam liars depend on the deep and unteachable stupidity of their audience. Thank goodness that audience is not a majority of the population and never will be.

A lot of people are too young to know that when DiFi said she'd "seen the bodies," she was talking about the day in 1978 San Francisco Supervisor Dan White walked into City Hall and, in cold blood, shot and killed both the Mayor, George Moscone, and S.F.'s first gay Supervisor, Harvey Milk.

DiFi heard White kill Moscone, saw White emerge from Moscone's office and head toward Milk's office. She saw Moscone's dead body.

It's hard to describe the shock and anger those of us who lived in S.F. felt but the City erupted in candlelight marches of at least 100,000 people and, later, violence.

This was back in those days before mass shootings were everyday headlines and DiFi's reminder of that tragedy bring back VERY vivid memories that can't help but shape our views of gun control.

Over at TPMMuckraker, a writer has unearthed a video, probably shot around 1985, of DiFi talking about the events of that terrible day. It makes it VERY clear that when DiFi talks about gun control, she's not grandstanding or "playing to the voting base" like that satanic lizard, Ted Cruz.

I watched those videos of Diane Feinstein. You can see how the trauma of it has remained alive in her ever since that nightmarish evening. For the life of me I cannot understand modern Republicans. They simply have no capacity for empathy, for any human decency for that matter.

Sen Feinstein is a woman of great courage, good will, integrity, and I base that on actual acts I have read about over the years -- when she gave CPR to a vomiting unconscious stranger on the street, when she told us, immed after about the White shooting -- immense dignity that comes from seriousness of purpose.

I have my weary antennae out for lies, and she has NEVER lied.

And I will bet anything that her IQ is way higher than Ted POS Cruz. Satanic lizard. yes.

I could hit re-play over and over. So glad Ted Cruz's willful manipulation and lies being covered, and LOD is right, when his kids apply (and they will), karma will come back to bite him in the butt.

From an Anchorage resident ... I can't stand to look at Ted Cruz and his smirk. He reminds me too much of our mayor, Dan Sullivan, and HIS smirk.

I wonder why Repubs vote for the most dishonest sleaziest characters.
    Repubs are scum.
