Here is this asshole's attempt to cover his ass issued this morning:
I would like to apologize to the people of Boston & Massachusetts for the poor timing of my tweet earlier this morning. As a staunch and unwavering supporter of the individual right to self defense, I expressed my point of view without thinking of its effect on those still in time of crisis. In hindsight, given the ongoing tragedy that is still unfolding, I regret the poor choice of timing. Please know that my thoughts and prayers were with the people of Boston overnight and will continue as they recover from this tragedy.
So as you can see he apologized for nothing, except for the fact that he may have shown poor judgement in WHEN he insulted the people of Boston, Massachusetts.
He was a douchebag she he said it, and he remains a douchebag today.
And if he expects an apology from me he is a stupid douchebag.
Another loon! The Republican party is full of them! No wonder the party is less and less relevant across the nation!
ReplyDeleteApologized for the poor TIMING. What an idiot. Here's a link to some responses from Boston:

Joe Keohane's response was the best.
DeletePeople are NOT buying it!

It would be easy to imagine this fat fuck cowering in the remake of Deliverance in his part as Ned Beatty's character, squealing like a pig. "Weeeeeee! Weeeeee!"
ReplyDeleteMena, AR may not be the asshole of the country, but it's close enough to the crack to have shit like fat boy there. His constituents must be really proud of him proving his bravery and character as a leader. Stupid Fucker.
I DARE that fat little slug to show up in Boston any time soon, they'd make short business out of his cowardly ass and send him home howling like a stuck pig. He 'apologized' for his 'timing' not for the ignorant content of his tweet, or the backwards context of his message.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that these conservatives are such bullies and cowards at the same time? You just don't see this happening with the frequency it does on the progressive/liberal side.
The verbal slop that comes out of these guys and then the lame apologies that follow are pretty pathetic, that's for sure. I hope he gets run out of town on a rail, but I won't hold my breath.
It's a pattern, they say stupid shit, get called out on it, then they double down and get defensive, then someone calls for them to resign and all of a sudden they're all 'I'm sorry if I offended...' non apology. It happens the same way every time and NO ONE holds them to their original blunder if they just say 'sorry' in some half-assed, convoluted form. Makes me sick.
ReplyDeleteFood for thought

Having private citizens shooting at perceived threats is all the police need. If people had used their own guns, the suspects might have escaped while the police were dealing with the carnage and confusion caused by those trying to "defend themselves." What utter and complete fools. This looney politician is downright dangerous and not a bit ashamed of being so.
ReplyDeleteyes! How low we have sunk as a people that these idiots have risen to positions of power. What an insensitive and politically charged thing to say. Idiot!
DeleteThe "apology" is more offensive than the first idiot tweet.
ReplyDeleteNate Bell's emotional development ceased about pre-school.
I'm not from Boston, but willing to bet they're thinking what I'm thinking. Screw You Mr Bell, and shove your thoughts and prayers where that non apology came from.
ReplyDeleteIt's worse than "I'm sorry if what I said offended anyone".
I find it interesting that whenever a conservative or Republican gets called out for saying something wrong and really stupid, his/her response is always an excuse and never an apology. They seem to be incapable of acknowledging that they were wrong or really stupid. It's always the "timing" or a "misunderstanding" or some other lame and cowardly excuse. No, Mr. Bell, your timing was not off, your mind was off, probably turned off some time ago.

C4p has been featuring comments like this. I am from Boston, and I think this hillbilly and his fellow ignorami who worship the likes of Baldy are kind of befuddled by what they have seen in the past week: tough smart kind cops, doctors, nurses, athletes, politicians...it doesn't fit the false story they tell themselves about lily-livered pointy-headed liberals. So they put out crap like this to try and convince themselves that while they may be fat poorly educated pathetic losers, they are better than we are cuz they have big ass guns. And Palin would make a great President. Right-o Razorback man!
ReplyDeletesounds to me like he may have been splattered with the contents of his own duchbag and doesn't like it.
ReplyDeleteNate Bell is in good company when a State Republican official can post her nut-job husband's rant on their official newsletter calling on Republican on Republican violence.
ReplyDeleteChris Nogy called on conservatives to shoot Republicans who voted to expand medicaid coverage to his fellow man in Arkansas and his wife (the editor) said she didn't anticipate the backlash outsiders would have at his impassioned First Amendment rights. We are 'taking it out of context' of course.

Frankly, I was a lot more at ease when I could feel safe and trust my fellow citizens not to shoot at the slightest excuse. THAT'S what he should be apologizing for.
ReplyDeleteWhat a backward fool.
Because the AR-15 is such an excellent weapon against bombs.
