Michele Bachmann explains, truthfully, why the conservatives are so fearful of a successful immigration bill.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

According to Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), if this current iteration of immigration reform passes through Congress, there will never again be a Republican president; and, instead, the United States will be governed by a permanent “liberal progressive” majority.

Speaking with WorldNetDaily, Bachmann warned that while her beliefs “may sound melodramatic,” she insists the dire consequences of immigration reform would be “that big and that important” to warrant sounding the alarms. (By the way WND is where crazy people go to be interviewed.)

“This is President Obama’s number one political agenda item,” she said, “because he knows we will never again have a Republican president, ever, if amnesty goes into effect.” She added:

“We will perpetually have a progressive, liberal president, probably a Democrat, and we will probably see the House of Representatives go into Democrat hands and the Senate will stay in Democrat hands.”

First off Marco Rubio himself refutes the idea that his Immigration Reform Bill will bring in 11 million new Democratic voters, so Bachmann is just wrong on the facts. (I know, big surprise right?)

But even more importantly is that in some ways Bachmann is right about the changing voter demographic, except she is wrong about where the new Democratic voters are coming from.

They are not coming from across the borders, they are coming from the uterus's of American women all over the country. It is the increasing number of younger voters who have overwhelmingly embraced the Left's policies and who would not be caught dead voting for a Republican.

So I guess if Bachmann and her cohorts want to stem the tide of liberal voters coming into this country they will have to "build the damn fence" right in front of every vagina in America. (Well that certainly takes the "war on women" to all new levels doesn't it?)

By the way the irony is not lost on me that the Republicans are fighting tooth and nail to make sure that every conception leads to a birth, and yet bitching that those grown up fetuses refuse to vote for them. Ungrateful little zygotes!

When will they realize that a political party has to be relevant. Rather than fight immigration, the Republicans should be championing issues that would attract the immigrant votes. The voice of the people is what is important, not continuing some attitudes that benefit only a few.

I just heard in 3 decades whites will become the minority...so if the GOP doesn't want to become obsolete they should be for immigration reform now and get rid of the teabaggers in office. It's Michele Bachmann and her ilk that are destroying the GOP...not Obama!

  3. It is pretty funny. I think the very rich dreamed of turning America into a kingdom/serfdom, with people of color rarely voting, and the poor whites too uneducated to protect themselves.

Immigrants aren’t always Democrats; the Cubans and Vietnamese are often Republicans, but that could be changing with the young crowd, who are certainly turned off by attacks on women and bible thumping.

This is what scares the hell out of them; 11 million new voters who hate their guts.

It goes deeper than that. White racists are afraid of the day they will be a minority. They think they will be treated like they treated every minority.

The same thing has been said for years about a national health care program. If the Democratic Party is able to pass a national health care system, they will be in power for fifty years. Why do you think they've tried to repeal the ACA 37 times?

Michelle is just changing the playbook a little, so that she can "fear up" the base. Aliens...BOO!

And, ps...what is up with Shelley's neck? Has she had a tracheotomy? Could explain why it sometimes seems like she has suffered from a lack of oxygen to the brain.

Shelly had an unfortunate accident. She was walking real fast while eating a corndog and slammed into a closed patio door. Marcus, who happens to have a phd in Heterosexual Heimlich maneuvers helped her expel the foreign object. I read it on the internet!

Shifting Demographics: Census Shows Asians Fastest Growing Group, Whites Soon The Minority

The election of Barack Obama was a seminal event for a myriad of reasons, but one must surely be the alarms it set off in the white supremacy movement. Since the day slaves were emancipated on June 19, 1865, white men and women who perceived that actuality as the harbinger of doom have been caterwauling about the inexorable decline of white power since.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which makes part of its mission statement the recording and categorizing of hate groups, counted up to 1,007 active hate groups in the country in 2012, many of them specifically white nationalist organizations, of which there are reportedly 62, per a May 11, 2013 Wikipedia accounting.

The issue of pushing “whiteness” is big business, so the latest news from the Census Bureau is going to be a death knell of sorts to this crowd.

...In other words, whites are dying out at a rate that exceeds their number of births. For the above-mentioned groups, this is Armageddon; for everyone else, exactly what does it mean?

"I know it might sound melodramatic, but it's THIS BIG!"

“We will perpetually have a progressive, liberal president, probably a Democrat, and we will probably see the House of Representatives go into Democrat hands and the Senate will stay in Democrat hands.”

She's got a point. Never heard of a Progressive Republican Movement in my entire life!

It's never the GOP's fault, it's always someone else!
