Since today was all about babies I thought you all might enjoy this as our final post of the day.
The way that he holds babies, cradling them with such love and gentleness never ceases to bring tears to my eyes. The tenderness in his touch is so apparent. I love this man so much. I give thanks every day that the people of this country chose him, again, to be our leader. No matter how much hate and vitriol is directed at him, he remains steadfast, honorable, kind, wise, patient, committed and determined to stay on course. The personal courage he has to do that is immeasurable.
The comment about "...the English looking baby" is simply outrageous! What, a white baby girl can only be English, as opposed to what - French, German, Norwegian, Canadian, or whatnot? What an odd phrasing. I do understand it is racist, but from what damn angle?
So THIS is what has the GOP panties in a bunch? My God, he could blow his nose and they's be upset that he used a handkerchief and had to have it washed at taxpayer expense! The jealousy is unreal. Babies run from the hate and insecurity of people like Palin; they LOVE this man. Take a hint GOP: babies know when someone is real. You fakers are fooling no one. Please proceed. With any luck, you will be voted out permanently and the US will be able to move ahead next year with jobs, the end of corporate welfare, and no more wars.

He's a peach! Great dad when the girls were babies. His mother and grandmother did a fine job raising him. :-)
