Tim Tebow’s career with the New England Patriots has ended after 2 1/2 months, with the quarterback failing to show the Patriots enough to warrant carrying three QBs on their roster.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Tebow had been released, with teams facing a 6 p.m. deadline for reducing rosters to 53 men. Now the question, as it was when the Patriots were the only takers for his talents in June, is whether the former Heisman Trophy winner’s NFL career is over as well.
“I’m blessed, because of my faith, that I don’t have to worry about the future because I know who holds my future,” Tebow told reporters Thursday night. “It’s something I try to live by. It really gives you a lot of peace in whatever circumstance I’m in.”
Yep, ya gotta have faith.
Faith that getting an endorsement from Sarah Palin is essentially the death knell for any career. It only took a little less than two years for Palin's raving over Tim Tebow's faith to poison his career.
This is why I would MUCH rather have Palin attacking the President, rather then ever agreeing with him or endorsing him in any way.

ReplyDeleteTim Tebo was a great college player that helped his team win two national championships, while winning the Heisman Trophy's as a college sophomore, the 1st to win the trophy as a sophomore ever in the 70-plus year history the trophy has been awarded to College Football's Player of the Year.
DeleteTim never asked for Sarah Palin's approval, her advice, nor her endorsement, and she never helped him score a touchdown, win a game, nor even poured him a cup of Gatorade.
Sarah merely used his name and his image as a winning football player to bask in his reflected glory to shine on her and bring her attention. Sarah's resume of real accomplishments is extremely thin, so she uses her "bandwagon-jumping" ruses to try to use someone else's success to bring her attention to position herself as a winner, which she is not.
Tim is probably too nice a guy to tell her that she hasn't done jack-shit for him other than to talk shit, so I will. He's not a bad guy. She's an attention whore who's lost two out of her last three elections, and actually quit her last two jobs where she was an employee for the State of Alaska before her term of service was completed. That's some service record she has, huh?
Sarah's a deadbeat parent who also quit on her family, including her kids at home. None of that reflects on Tim Tebow because he hasn't endorsed her stupidity or her record of failure. I refuse to let Palin bring someone down undeservedly, especially when he has never met not even spoken to the Quitter-Grifter.

Would love to re-interview him in ten years or so when, hopefully he is living in his cardboard box, or the jail cell for groping kiddies that he coaches and proselytizes to.
