Not to brag but I would have to take two of the Minus 50 pills in order to get my IQ anywhere near a certain half term Governor's IQ.
However if being too smart is wrong, I don't want to be right.
If being right means being a dummy, I'd rather live a wrongdoing life.

Interesting. Funny.
DeleteThe Pee's don't need a pill, all they have to do is just listen to Sarah Palin.
ReplyDeleteIf they can't listen to Sara... Anita Bryant is the next best thing. Watched this and can't get over how much this Anita resembles Sara Palin. My eyes are still bleeding...

Pure genius Gryphen! As soon as I read you comments, I knew which song you were alluding to, "If Loving You Is Wrong, (I Don't Want To Be Right)". Didn't know Rod Stewart did a cover of the song though. It was originally released by "Stax Records" on the "Koko" label in 1972, and performed by Luther Ingram. The original is a wonderful tune, hope you get a chance to hear it as well. Had the opportunity to meet Mr. Ingram backstage at a concert in Charlotte, N.C. in 1971. He was a very kind man, who asked me to help him get into his pullover stage shirt. I was a fan of his before that and remain so to this day. May his spirit forever rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteIngram's original cut is an all-time classic. I had to listen to it twice. Wow, that takes me way back. When a song is over 40 years old and being used in all of the splice-n-dice and edits that are being done today, you know it's one of the truly timeless pieces of music.

ReplyDeleteThanks! That started my day off with a laugh. I can't wait to share this with the next self-righteous homophobe I stumble across.
DeleteRush Limbaugh is a role model for Republican young people.
I like the general concept of this vid but disagree with the gentleman's statement "The world is a much happier place when you are dumb." Judging by the stupidTea Party, the world is a bitter, angry, frightening place when you are dumb.
ReplyDeleteI never really thought of spoofs as things one agrees or disagrees with.

Wonder how many of our "clueless citizens" will actually try to visit the website? I want the stats on that one. Bwahahahahahah
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a chance to read the fine on the package insert, but if it will make the Thanksgiving Holiday seem like a regular 2-day weekend, I might take a half when I wake up and then one at lunch. Then I should be ready by the late afternoon "dinner" that we usually plan since this allows the gun goons time to go in the woods, kill something, and then do whatever they do after that, plus take a shower, before we have to listen to their non-stop action stories about climbing up and into a tree stand as well as their death-defying descent. Yay.
DeleteThank you, God, er, I mean science.
I can't wait to be almost as dim as those who will be asking me,
"Um, I guess yer still workin' with numbers an' such *inside* an office buildin', huh? So you don't never git rained out and git some ass time to go downta tha bar a-drankin' at 7 in tha mornin', do ya? Man, you don't get ta have *no* fun at werk, do ya? Don't tell me that shit about gettin to play Pebble Beach with clients stuff like that, cuz that would suck as bad as havin to wear a suit and a friggin tie ever day ta work."
We already have a process for this. It's called "poverty."
