Here is the one sentence explanation for why Yellen is the best choice for the job:
Not that Yellen can predict the twists and turns of the economy with perfect clarity — nobody can — but rather she has consistently shown a deep early understanding of the underlying pressures building in the economy and the scale of their potential consequences.
I don't really have a dog in this fight but I have paid pretty close attention to what those in the know have to say, and it seems that Janet Yellen has a set of qualities which might serve her very well in the job.

After watching the documentary, Inside Job, it is absolutely shocking that this guy isn't in federal prison. It sickens me that he was even considered in the first place.

ReplyDeleteOver at C4P they are egging each other on; they have re-labeled the Firefighters image from 9/11 as the Spirit of Sarah, etc and are encouraging each other to use it as their little ID photo.
Guess the moral here is to stay off C4P; I have always considered it 'opposition research' and necessary as an informed citizen.

DeleteIf I were really motivated, I'd report each use of the image to the company that is hosting it, because they are breaking the TOS by knowingly using someone else's copyrighted imaged. For example, if C4P members upload their avatars to the C4p's own web server, the company the image copyright owner should contact would be Godaddy, because Godaddy is the c4P host. If forum members are responsible for hosting their own avatar, you would just have to right click on the image to get the image info, including where it is hosted. If it's somebody like Photobucket, then PB could be notified. I'm too lazy to do it myself but just putting this out there in case anybody else wants to follow up on it.

Now the media will decide who they think he "should" nominate. Does the media EVER give this President time to evaluate and decide - without the malarkey - the nominations it is his job to make.
