I want to fly like an eagle. To the sea. Fly like an eagle. Let my spirit carry me.

This should brighten up your day.

And isn't it MUCH more uplifting than the last eagle flying video that I posted?

Oh Yes, this brings a fond memory: I used to sing this song to my grandsons when they were very young. They would sit in the swing, spread their arms and demand "Grama, Sing"... the lyrics teach some beautiful lessons.
Looking back, I think they understood them even then, as both are very caring kids.

    1. What a lovely story, fromthediagonal!

No grandchildren yet for me, but these days I find myself singing what I used to sing to my sons.

hard to fly like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.

anon @ 6:08... even if we can't "fly like an eagle", we still can follow the rest of the lyrics... "I wanna feed the babies, I can't get enough to eat, I wanna shoe the children, no shoes on their feet..."
let's keep going, not merely with the lyrics, but with our own good deeds. Never mind the turkeys. Please!

@fromthediagonal - "Never mind the turkeys. Please!"

Unless we use them to feed the hungry!

So beautiful, thanks. I love your state, just not what brought me to you. Still humming...

It's a thousand times better than the last eagle video, every one of those idiots should have been fined for putting a wild, regal creature in such peril.
I found the filming fascinating, at one point you can see the eagle's shadow. Amazing how miniaturized cams have gotten.
Sometimes I watch how people behave, and wonder which species has the birdbrain.
