DeleteI disagree. I think McCain tried to promote himself as reasonable, and had they chosen someone less hateful and mean, he might have had a shot. After all, Obama was a Senator who was not well known, and the racists were never going to vote for him. Sarah energized the GOP for two weeks, and then managed to energize a whole lot of people against her with her ranting and hate speech rallies. People will vote for liars; they won't vote for mean and stupid ones.

For as much as I cannot stand John McCain (and yes, I hold him in contempt for foisting Sarah Palin on us), this idiot's comments are beyond the pale. You'll notice that he includes the President in his diatribe about treason, and in essence calls McCain a traitor for supporting the President's stance on this. I don't support action in Syria, myself, but this man's accusations are typical of the Tea Party idiocy.
