Man calls for John McCain to be arrested and tried for treason during his own town hall meeting. Awkward!

I like how he started off by saying "I mean this with all due respect" before calling for McCain to be thrown into prison. So respectful.

Still happy about choosing Sarah Palin and giving her enough gravitas for the Koch brothers to use her to start the Tea Party John?

I imagine this is what Victor Frankenstein felt like when he found out his creature had killed his new bride on their wedding night.

"Kill it, kill it with fire!"

If he signed Grover Norquist's treasonous pact, then yes, by all means. And all the others along with him.

How Grover gets away with that, just blows my mind...and no one seems to care.

Paul- there are deep pockets supporting Norquist. It is not him but the money behind him that is their fear.

It is treason to say that you want to make government so small you want to be able to drown it in the bathtub? An attempt to overthrow our nation?

You can say anything you like, but when Norquist gets elected officials to sign a pledge to not pass anything, I would say that is treason. They are elected to uphold the Constitution, not tear it down.

McCain can't respond because it would be "beneath me"? Bullshit. It wasn't beneath him to consort with the enemy when he was a POW.

John McCain is the absolute bottom of the scumbag barrel.

  6. It's jackasses like this who used to gang up and shout down protesting folks at the townhall meetings in 2010 before that mid-term election. They paid no attention to protestors' right to speak their piece, in fact they had the protestors dragged out by security.

Yet the jackass here demanded his right to be heard now.

I'm really getting tired of these fascist hypocrites.

  7. Remember back in the 1980s when John McCain was one of the Keating Five? Look it up. He was dealing on the edge then during the Savings and Loan Scandal. Why would anyone think he was presidential material?

Cause if you looked really really really fast, you saw a woman who was attractive at the time, who won the state govship because her religious freak friends pulled out all the stops, she was crazy enough to fake a pregnancy with a DS kid for the "team" .....

Oh come on, John, say something clever... immigration reform....benghazi....regime change in Syria.... bomb bomb bomb Iran...and I'm glad I picked Sarah Palin as a surrogate racial flame thrower.

I think it's time to resign, your own people are too beneath you, it can only get worse from here.

They were looking for life in his boring and failing campaign. They did get more votes than Romney. No one was going to win that year after George W. Bush.

I disagree. I think McCain tried to promote himself as reasonable, and had they chosen someone less hateful and mean, he might have had a shot. After all, Obama was a Senator who was not well known, and the racists were never going to vote for him. Sarah energized the GOP for two weeks, and then managed to energize a whole lot of people against her with her ranting and hate speech rallies. People will vote for liars; they won't vote for mean and stupid ones.

Will all due respect, I believe Michelle Bachmann, started the Tea Party Movement. She headed it up in DC.

No, the Kochs started it. Palin jumped on board as soon as she got dumped by the GOP. Bachmann started the Tea Party Caucus when she saw a chance to get herself in the news. I believe only a few Congresstypes signed up, and they met once.

    2. Sally in MI4:33 AM

With all due respect, she didn't. She started the Tea Party Caucus in the House after the 2010 elections, but that was nearly two years after the "tea party' had begun protesting any and everything put forward by the Obama administration. Just like the Kochs and the Norquist GOP...protest all bills, just because government is too big. Or something. Meanwhile, Bachmann's Caucus has folded, and she is in big trouble herself.

Senator John McCain should we be expecting your endorsement of your 2008 vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin to run for Senator any time now? We know you are still proud of her. Aren't you?

The statement of David Chaney that was produced indicated he never met Shailey Tripp

but then what was that credit card receipt to Shailey Tripp from David Chaney for? Is the United States Secret Service agent assigned to the 2008 Republican Party Presidential candidate in the habit of giving $40 to known prostitutes he never met before? Especially to the prostitute who says she works for the spouse of the 2008 Republican Party Vice Presidential Candidate?

So, over a six month period, SarahPAC received $460,537 dollars from her fans and she spent $496,505. That leaves her with $1,113,971 in the kitty. She gave $5,000 to Jason Smith who was running for Congress. She doesn’t appear to have made any other political contributions.

Based on the money she took in over that time period, it looks like the mean old hooah spent 1% on political contributions. Based on how much she actually has left in her PAC, that figure plummets to 0.44%.

She has once again spent oodles on postage, speechwriting, consultants, airfares and even charged the gift bags that she gave to the students in Spokane to her PAC.

For as much as I cannot stand John McCain (and yes, I hold him in contempt for foisting Sarah Palin on us), this idiot's comments are beyond the pale. You'll notice that he includes the President in his diatribe about treason, and in essence calls McCain a traitor for supporting the President's stance on this. I don't support action in Syria, myself, but this man's accusations are typical of the Tea Party idiocy. McCain is one of my Senators and I wish it could be otherwise, but I have no use for this sort of unhinged nonsense.

I wholeheartedly agree! McCain is a lying POS, but that man's drivel about the US supporting Al Qaeda? Puh-leeeze. As soon as he said that, and the President's middle name, I knew he was a right wing nut job (RWNJ)!

As soon as I heard him include the "executive branch" in his diatribe, I clicked if off. No need to listen to that drivel. Yes, the GOP Congressional members, who have signed onto Grover Norquist and/or the Koch Brothers are guilty of sedition and I'd love to see them all stripped of their positions and headed for federal prison.
