"Welcome to Chick-fil-A please don't shoot us." |
Starbucks boss Howard Schultz runs the “most dangerous” coffee shops in America because he has “respectfully” requested that customers do not pack heat.
So says state Rep. Jeff Thompson, R-Bossier City. No legislator is crazier about the Second Amendment than he.
Thompson has called for a boycott of Starbucks and is organizing armed klatches at competing establishments.
Sadly, he did not find a warm welcome at the first one. After Thompson put in a brief appearance at its Bossier City restaurant, Chick Fil A issued a statement dissociating itself from his cause.
The only events scheduled that day were senior bingo and a child’s birthday party, so maybe a bunch of guys toting semi-automatic weapons would not have been a good fit at that.
What? Even an oasis of conservatism, and homophobia, like Chick-fil-A draws the line when it comes to bringing assault rifles into their place of business?
Commies!
I like how this idiot believes that a Starbucks is MORE dangerous without 2nd Amendment morons brandishing their semiautomatic penis extenders rather than LESS dangerous with fewer bullets and guns on the premises. It's like logic simply does not exist in the Right Wing world.
Speaking of logic, I wonder how a certain half term governor, will respond to this news?
Poor little nimrods don’t fit anywhere. I’m SO reminded of the Bugs Bunny cartoons.
ReplyDeleteYes. We're Bugs and the GOP is Yosemite Sam, carrying a big gun and shooting blanks. Or more like the Tasmanian Devil, destroying everything in its path.
DeleteWow. If a white straight male with a big gun is not welcome at Chik FilA, it must be the Obama takeover happening! Quick Sarah . What should we do?
ReplyDeletePlease spread around that picture of the Palins showing their Hate. It doesn't hurt to remind decent people to avoid bigotry.
ReplyDeleteSarah loves her Chock-Ful-a-Hate sammich
ReplyDeleteCheck this out...those Greeks knew...
ReplyDelete"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."
Marcus Tullius Cicero
That's the GOP for certain!
DeleteO/T Jesse but not really: Check out Cory Booker going after Baldy this morning! The Palin Curse rolls on.
DeleteBoth McCain and Palin are on the top of the list for treason. AIP, "always independent", Palin only played GOP to grab some power, so I don't know she really qualifies as Republican.
DeleteJeffy Bob needs to know his audience. People who pay four dollars for a coffee while working on their Mac don't seem to me to be his target audience. And if you can't get love at Fried Stuff Filet . . .
ReplyDeleteWhy does someone think they need a gun at Starbucks? I don't think Starbucks would put a coffeeshop in a location where you are likely get robbed or shot. The world is not as dangerous as these people think it is. I put as much value on discerning reality as I do on freedom.
ReplyDeleteYou are obviously not a Teabagger. Baldy's Asylum inmates bring guns into the hospital when they are patients.
DeleteUh Gryphen I don't think Baldy will babble about this for a couple of weeks! Cory Booker just threw her a lifeline to whine today!
ReplyDelete"http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/cory-booker-s-campaign-says-endorsement-from-extremist-palin-shows-his-rival-is-out-of-touch
So wake up RAM! Time to start screeching at another black guy! Baldy's Fecesbook page is a waitin'! LOL!!!
Yes, c'mon RAM/Baldy! There's plenty of sexual innuendo phraseology you have yet to use!
DeleteCory Booker's Campaign Calls Sarah Palin An 'Extremist'
ReplyDeleteCory Booker's campaign thinks an endorsement from Sarah Palin should convince Garden State residents not to vote for Steve Lonegan, his Republican rival in the New Jersey Senate race.
Following Palin's endorsement, Booker's campaign issued a press release Thursday dubbing Palin an "extremist." Booker campaign spokeswoman Silvia Alvarez also told TPM that Palin's endorsement should show voters just how "out of touch" Lonegan is with their values.
"If voters had any doubt about how out of touch Steve Lonegan’s values are with the values of most New Jerseyans, Sarah Palin’s endorsement puts that to rest. Like Mr. Lonegan, she wants to ban abortions, even in cases of rape and incest, doesn’t believe in climate change and opposes common sense measures to make our streets safer, like expanded background checks for gun purchases," Alvarez said.
Though Booker's lead in the polls has narrowed in recent weeks, he's still ahead of Lonegan by more than 10 points.
The Booker campaign's press release on Palin's Lonegan endorsement featured a graphic showing past statements made by Palin and Lonegan and encouraging readers to attempt to "match up the tea party luminary with his or her quote." View the graphic below.

Here kitty kitty kitty!!
Deletehaha, for real! just like the other black guy, Cory could beat her into the ground in a debate with 3/4 of his brain tied behind his back..my fantasy is both Booker and the NJ gov putting their "crosshairs" on the silly bitch...
DeleteFun seeing Cory standing up to her Sarah Palin and the crap she has spewed these past years! Love it, love it!
DeleteAnd, I'll betcha that Cory will be elected. I will now send a donation to his campaign - suggest others do so too even not being from his state! I'm from Alaska where we know Palin the best and be assured she is one evil, idiot!
The only thing Cory forgot to add about Palin is that she is the 'kiss of death' for any candidate!
O/T Gryphen, but I thought you'd appreciate this:
ReplyDelete8-Year-Old Gets Sexist 'How To Survive Almost Anything' Books Pulled Off The Shelf
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/03/sexist-how-to-survive-books_n_4038139.html
After having read the chapter titles I can only say I, too, found them to be sexist and degrading.
DeleteTalk abut stereo-typing! Sheesh!
Bet those racist old fools over at the Asylum are saddling up right now. Can't wait to check in there later.
ReplyDeleteStarbucks boss Howard Schultz runs the “most dangerous” coffee shops in America? So those who carry should stay away from these "most dangerous" shops ... they might get hurt!
ReplyDeleteThose 2 SCUM-SUCKING GRIFTERS who PIMP people will look better in Orange jumpsuits.
ReplyDeleteI live in the blue state of Washington, in the blue area of Seattle. Yesterday, I actually saw an oversized (...) pickup truck with a Starbucks sticker on its back window.
ReplyDeleteThe diminutive (look it up, $arah...) guy in it had actually scrawled on his window: " No guns - No coffee" with an arrow pointing to the Starbucks emblem. :(
As a fellow Seattle-area resident, I can just be thankful that these people are definitely outnumbered in our neck of the woods :) Little guys and big trucks just go together I guess.
DeleteI am so embarrassed that he is my Representative. In defense of our State,I believe that the large amount of chemical and petroleum pollution here has negatively affected many peoples mental capacity.
ReplyDeleteTodd Palin, the prick (using the word since Sarah called President Obama one!) with the little, two-toned dick (Shailey Tripp - "Boys Will be Boys")! He's a proven pimp and he and Sarah have a fraud of a marriage.
ReplyDeleteLove that this gun issue is making headlines....way past time that these outlets stand up against folks carrying guns to or inside their establishments!
Some areas of our world are finally moving in the right direction!
By his logic, gun shows that do not allow attendees to pack are very dangerous places. I bet he goes to those.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it ironic, that the NRA(!) of all things did NOT let any guns into their convention... I guess they know a thing or two about idjits and guns...
ReplyDeletePerhaps they should try Pizza and Guns. I'm sure Papa John's and Dominoes have a soft spot for gun nuts.
ReplyDeleteWho would risk going to Chic Fil A? Bumping into Baldy and the Toadster may be a public hazard! She's got sharp edges. cold sores and flaky scales. Todd rolls around dead animal carcasses and sells sex to men, even carries his own junk in baggies.
Any idea if these two got their shots up to date?
