Rachel Maddow talks about the problem with the GOP outreach and argues that the Daily Show may contain more journalism than they like to admit.

God I love the Daily Show.

    THAT'S WHAT I'M ALWAYS SAYING!!!

    It's not "fake news!"

    The Onion is "fake news!"

They take news clips that are real and present them in a way that highlights the hypocrisy of the people speaking, in a way that no one media outlet has the balls to do. And then they talk about how no one in the media holds these people accountable. It's not "fake news" -- it's astute media criticism -- with jokes!

And don't even get me started on Colbert! The dude deserved a Peabody for his reporting on Super PACS, which no other news outlet covered with an OUNCE of the depth that that "fake news" show did.

Real news and real issues presented in a comedic way.

Politicians of both sides being called out when they do something stupid, which is what the mainstream media USED to do before they were controlled by their corporate masters.

      You are obviously incredibly intelligent.

      As you were...

      Just be sure to ask every single person you meet what their sexual orientation is;
You certainly wouldn't want to look stupid now would you?

Reading this actually made me tear up. This is the "untold" story of what the President did after Sandy Hook....

Read that last night and I also shed a few tears. I simply cannot imagine what it must be like to have that much responsibility on your shoulders.

I wish him the internal peace and the external support he needs to do the right things for our country.

And, I love Rachel Maddow and try never to miss her show. She truly is an educator and factual. All Americans should watch her - either party - as she truly is informative.

Because Lesbians could never be a Rhodes Scholar. And because they like girls then they could never gather together a rational thought. Oh... wait a minute am I talking about lesbians or men? I gather Anon 10:28 was snark, right?

It made me laugh out loud but I can't be sure if it's snark or honesty.

Scary that you can't always tell the difference, isn't it?

10:28 You shouldn't cut yourself off from such a wonderful woman. She is well educated - far more than most Americans - has her doctorate - she is Dr. Maddow even though she doesn't use the designation.

She is an educator on her show and is far, far better than the majority of journalists/hosts on all other TV shows.

I know many lesbians and they truly are wonderful people. Just like you, I'm sure!

Someday I want to be as smart as Rachel Maddow.

Sadly, I know that will never happen. So I listen to her and try to learn something new instead! :)

  8. I actually prefer Steven Colbert to Jon Stewart. Jon Stewart was an absolute DICK to Kathleen Sibelius and his interview of Alan Greenspan made me sick. Stewart is a big fan of the "both sides do it" meme.

I know, right! Let the lady finish a fucking sentence, ya know!

It's like he just wanted to prove that she and the Administration are full of shit that he treated her like shit. Sorry for the double use of shit in one sentence.

Rachel makes a great argument for a comedy show that does journalism in a profoundly brilliant way. "I wuz makin fun of my white half of Obama, not the black half" North Carolina Republican Party, putting into words what the GOP tries to keep hush hush.

I adore Rachel so much. She's so informed on the issues, and her take on political and social issues is educational and entertaining. She's audience-friendly without patronizing, divisiveness or mean girl bullying.

That being said, I still want Rachel to steal the Chicks on the Right's lunch money and make them cry.
