So true it hurts.

You know it was not too long ago that this would have been considered a parody. But today it reads like a simple explanation of fact.

By the way, THIS is what happens when you empower the fringe. Or as Sarah Palin likes to call them, "We the People."

And what if he were impeached ?? (Ain't gonna happen) Don't they realize that Joe Biden would become President, and he would just continue the exact same policies (would they call it BidenCare then?).

No; these idiots think that if they impeach Obama, then they get to name any white republican to replace him. (Even if was born in Canada)

You want a frightening thought? How about this?

If they impeached President Obama, guess who would become the VICE president. Golly Gee Willikers! Ain't that some fun?

Unfortunately, it is the common legal consensus that Cruz IS a natural born US citizen by right of his mother's nationality.

However, until the SCOTUS defines "Natural Born" or an amendment is written to the Constitution defining "Natural Born", there is some doubt in his case.

  4. Today, i'am now totally convinced that the GOP shall loose the House come next year & Nancy Pelosi shall get her gavel back. Take a deep breath for a second & try picture what will happen in the next coming days, and that his either one of Eric Cantor or Paul Ryan replacing John Boner as the speaker, just imagine the optic of one of those two as the face of the GOP going into an election year, We all know that John Boner is inefficient, incompetent, a liar, a civil criminal, a domestic terrorist, a two faced mofo but the thing with him is that he doesn't cut that picture at first glance, infact, he comes across as a pitiful homeless alcoholic that could do with the odd weekly bath. Now, you cannot say that about Eric Cantor & Paul Ryan, one glance & you know that they're that ripper riding down that sleepy hollow, coming for the little existence you have left.

If an intelligence test were required for personhood, Sarah's Palin's "We the People" would be a null set.

    My Offer is This: Nothing

Many Republicans knew this was going to be a disaster going in. But just as many totally misread Obama. Just days before the shutdown numerous high profile Republicans insisted there was no way Obama wouldn't negotiate. But probably the key driver of this drama has been President Obama's refusal to negotiate over raising the debt ceiling.

Yes, there's been some back and forth here at the end, but as begging like this suggests, it's mainly been to sort of out terms of surrender. But that refusal has defined the entire standoff.

That forced first Republicans and then House Republicans and finally the rump caucus of 50 to 80 House fire-breathers to stand alone with outrageous demands. By not engaging they destroyed themselves.

The 2011 crisis was, I believe, a turning point for Obama, not only because he realized he had been complicit in damaging the country but that his willingness to enter the discussion as a good faith, actual negotiation had the effect of legitimating what were actually rule-breaking, extra-constitutional demands.

It's far different, in many ways goes to the right-wing fever-dream fantasy Obama. But this classic scene does capture some of it.

One of these tea tard types frequents the same dog park I do, she had her panties in a knot because, under the ACA, her premium is higher than it was last year, blah blah blah.
I asked her if her health care premiums EVER went down during her illustrious working career under any President.. She said she couldn't recall, but she thought "affordable" meant "cheaper". During the conversation, I asked her if the coverage she'll get are the same, and she actually admitted that a lot of things she paid for before are now covered. I can't read her mind, but I honestly think it has more to do with racial hatred than the product itself.
My dad was a Republican until Nixon, and if he were alive, he wouldn't recognize the GOP as it is today.
