Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Nice way to look at it.
There was a time when I would have predicted that by now the rock would be no more than a pebble.
So much evil has been committed in the name of organized religion. Especially, but not exclusively, when it is allied with a government or with those seeking political power.
I hope that we can encourage spirituality in many forms--an identification and empathy for our world and all of its beings, a sense of communion with all living things, a sense of purpose and an identification with an authentic self who wants peace, justice and beauty.
When I get discouraged I remember the Hopi who grow corn in the desert to keep the world in balance. "If you're faithful," a Hopi elder says, "you can't just sit back and say 'I'm faithful.' You have to plant the seed, confident that it will endure. You have to SHOW industry, generosity, happiness, hope."
Of course, the REAL question is: Will it happen soon enough?
