Happy New Year Everyone!

Sir Ian McKellan and Sir Patrick Stewart. Loving life.
Well IMers we made it through another one.

Here's hoping that this next year is full of progress for our country, hope for our children, and no more damn books from Sarah Palin.

As always I have some things up my sleeve that I think all of you will enjoy.

There are upcoming books, new interviews, and hopefully a couple of long percolating secrets finally ready to be revealed.

We also have a big election coming our way and a GOP that is going to be a veritable bloodbath due to infighting.

All in all I think that 2014 is going to blow the doors off of 2013.

Let's all enjoy that together shall we?

Happy 2014 Gryphen! The vacuous diseased one will continue to crumble. I'm with you. It has been many years and I mainly lurk but I always pay attention.

Gryphen, thank you for all the long hard research and writing that you do to keep IM alive and thriving.

Keeping people like Palin from spewing her hatred and racist shite into the public sphere is important, and you've led the way.

When the big secrets come out, and the Wasilla Witch is finally shamed by her crimes and lies, we know that the credit will go largely to you and the many others who have kept the pressure on.

A very happy new year to you and your family, and the entire IM community!

Happy New Year, everyone! May this year be even happier & healthier!

I can never stay up long enough to see the New Year in NYC, so we watched the amazing fireworks show at the Eye along the Thames in London. Think Macy's in NYC on July 4. So New Year came about suppertime for us.

If you want to see Sir Ian in a non-wizardy role, check out "Vicious" on ITV. He stars with Derek Jacobi as an old (and I do mean old) gay couple who have been together more than 50 years. Wonderfully nasty & hysterical. We find we watch far more Brit TV than US.

Thanks for the recommendation, Anonymous 5:24. I became a huge fan of Derek Jacobi after watching "I, Claudius" many years ago. Yes, British TV is wonderful even though I struggle a bit with the accents. Also love Benedict Cumberbatch!

Gryphen - Loads of thanks for all of your hard work last year and in advance for 2014. There are plenty of days when I can't stand the sight of Sarah Palin let alone reading/listening to the insane, stupid, uninformed, hateful crap she spews. But everyday you dive into the deep end and keep the pressure on. I think we all look forward to the day when she exits the stage for good.

This year cannot be a repeat of 2010 when Democrats were apathetic, or mad at the President, or tired from 2008 or whatever and we got slammed by the Tea Party. We need all hands on deck this year for good, progressive candidates. There is no reason for women, young people, seniors, labor or most anyone but a Duck Dynasty fan to vote Republican. We just need to remind people of this every day till the November Election.

    Happy New Year.

And Happy Holidays Mrs. Todd Palin!!!!!

Happy New Year Gryphen and fellow IMer's!!!
Gryphen, my New Year's Wish is that you will continue writing with your rapier wit, keen observations and tenacious exposure of Palin for the desperate, rancid caricature that she is.

C'mon, Scrooge, a girl has to make a living!

But other than that, Mr. Fancy Pants librul Alaska blogger, thanks for keeping the doors open for the small handful of socialist, marxist, fascist Obama-lovin' deadenders who still visit this defunct blog. Looking forward to another year of it.

    Happy new year to all.

    (except the trolls.)

And remember, everyone, for a happier new year, GROW UP!

Reliable sources who wish to remain anonymous say with great authority that Beldar J Conehead is the Chuck Norris of semi-annoying, snarky faux-trolls!

Let's all keep this mind as we move into the future:

    Equality Street
    (video follows lyrics)

    http://www.lyricshall.com/lyrics/Brent+And+Johnson/Equality+Street/

It comes out of Britain. Ricky Gervais is a British comedian, he's the guy in the suit. Every year the Brits have their Red Ball day where money is raised to help people in Britain and Africa and other needy places. This was part of the show.

It's got a great beat, it's a beautiful arrangement and speaks a much needed message.

Happy 2014 to you Gryphen and my fellow IMers and thank you for having this wonderful blog. This blog is what keeps me sane when I need to express myself since we're blocked almost anywhere else with the paid Palin, etc., paid posters aka " postage" staff.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!
