This attack on the Wendy Davis bio is extremely nit picky and the "exaggerations" that were claimed to have been uncovered amounted to virtually nothing. As the Washington Post pointed out a politicians bio is often not entirely accurate, but it is rare to have that cause the candidate any serious trouble in the long run.
And really, comparatively speaking, the inconsistencies in this case are almost negligible.
By the way I really like Alex Wagner, she was my favorite host in the mornings, and now that she has moved her show to Martin Bashir's old slot I make sure to never miss it.
Yeah... I mean, it's not like Wendy Davis lied about giving birth to a special needs baby, or anything like that!

Dinesh D'Souza, a conservative commentator and best-selling author, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for arranging excessive campaign contributions to a candidate for the U.S. Senate.
According to an indictment made public on Thursday in federal court in Manhattan, D'Souza around August 2012 reimbursed people who he had directed to contribute $20,000 to the candidate's campaign. The candidate was not named in the indictment.
Attempts to reach D'Souza and a lawyer representing him were unsuccessful.
D'Souza was charged in the indictment with one count of making illegal contributions in the names of others, and one count of causing false statements to be made.
Federal law in 2012 limited primary and general election campaign contributions to $2,500 each, for a total of $5,000, from any individual to any one candidate.
"As we have long said, this Office and the FBI take a zero tolerance approach to corruption of the electoral process," the U.S. Attorney for Manhattan, Preet Bharara, said in a statement released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Bharara is an Obama appointee.
Born in Mumbai, India, D'Souza, 52, is a former policy adviser to President Ronald Reagan, and has been affiliated with conservative organizations such as the American Enterprise Institute and the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
He also directed a 2012 film critical of President Barack Obama, "2016: Obama's America," and has written books including "The End of Racism," "Life After Death: The Evidence" and "Obama's America: Unmaking the American Dream."

I agree. I like Alex Wagner. This is kind of off topic but I am watching Chris Matthews tonight and during his opening remarks about Christie throwing Bridget Kelley under the bus I thought he was going to have a heart attack, he was so animated and literally spitting mad. haha! I got to thinking that if he is so wound up over this scandal can anyone here on IM imagine what he would be like if the Sarah Palin faux pregnancy ever came to light? What if there were actual credible witnesses stating without a doubt that it was a hoax the likes never before seen in this country? Can anyone imagine what a feeding frenzy this would cause? Why, Sarah Palin's phone would be ringing off the hook with all kinds of "journalists" wanting to interview the great Sarah Palin! She would get all the attention she could ever want. She would capture all the headlines for weeks, if not months. People analyzing and going over all the old footage that only we here at IM are familiar with. That would be the best must-see TV ever! I would imagine that MSNBC would win the war for viewers because they would have the best analysis by Rachel, Chris, Alex, Chris Hayes, and the new rising star Kornacki. Maybe Martin Bashir would even be forgiven and offered his old job back.

DeleteMalia Litman has a couple of good photos of Sarah. One picture is of Sarah pregnant with Track and big as a barn. The other picture is that of Sarah with Sean Parnell. She's wearing her famous scarf and ill-fitting black suit. Who in his/her right mind would believe that she is pregnant in that second picture? The best is that Malia puts both pictures side by side. Look at them and you decide. Is Sarah really pregnant in that second picture in 2008?

It took me 3 years to finally get a divorce...during that time I WAS a single parent...(actually during the marriage too, which was a big part of the divorce)....It takes time to get a Decree Nisei after the divorce is final...If you do not have a spouse living with you ...you are by any definition a single parent. And really...did they count the days she lived in a trailer?? Any way to twist it, but...it just gives her MORE support from anyone who has been a single parent, male or female, or knows one. Talk about gold digger...ever since Anne Coulter struck the RW hate gold mine she hasn't stopped digging! This will backfire in a big way because the average Joe is fed up with RW hate.
