Hey, is it possible the Religious Right has simply been reading the wrong Constitution all of this time?

It has been said before, but it bears repeating, if the Fundamentalists in this country want to go someplace where one religion is allowed to dominate all others and where religion goes together will politics like peanut butter and jihad, there IS such a place.

When I saw this post it brought to mind an article I read this morning on The Daily Beast titled "The Conservative Crusade For Christian Law".

Gryphen, you know they don't want that! That's a MUSLIM country and everybody knows that muslims - and their sharia law - are just evil! They don't want sharia law, they want biblical law (THEIR bible, no less!).

What the difference is can't be sufficiently explained to me, but hell, what do I know?

If they ever succeed in my lifetime, I WILL leave! Canada looks really good. Or even better? New Zealand.

It is hard not to notice if the left shouted these facts over and over like the right....maybe it would actually become common knowledge. You need so many years of math, science and history to graduate high school....I believe old fashioned civics should be mandatory. Force this lazy nation to learn how our democracy works. Make it mandatory in college too...just like an English course.

Can't argue facts. Escape from a state religion was the reason for the Constitution of the United States.
