You know I think martial arts training is really good for kids. IF they get a good instructor.

By the way I thought I might take this opportunity to reveal that a little birdie told me a certain reality show might play an important part in an upcoming court case.

I enrolled my 3 kids in classes when my husband was in Viet Nam. I had a full time job, so the lessons had to be in the evening. DeleteI was particularly disgusted when Bristol had to film herself shooting the book with Levi's face on the cover. It was his book about deer in head light. She blows a scared young man in the face to shreds to feel tough and good. That was another of her highlighted parenting sessions. That is not something I'd want any child to see, not even if it was years later and they saw it on video and they didn't know the victim. I can't comprehend doing that to the child's relative at all.
You know if Tripp hadn't been there to see it first hand he would see his mother blowing up his dad's face. And how it was all about her.
I can't imagine any parent wanting to imprint that stupidity and hate on the child. We can only imagine what she imprints when there are no cameras.

ReplyDeleteThe Palin racing dude and team... Why isn't the media reporting on what happened and this race? It is important and of interest to the public. Most games and places would find this worth while. I saw a comment which backs up what has been mentioned on this blog. There were no names but 'reliable' sources. The Iron Dog officials were concerned due to not hearing from Huntington or Palin. They had radios to keep the officials informed, neither team member contacted the race about a break down. They were a no show at the first checkpoint. The teams are required to inform headquarters when they are to scratch. They are not to make up a new 'checkpoint' in midst of the race but to stay with the required course and go to required checkpoints only. Todd and Tyler should have been disqualified and removed from the race. Why didn't that happen at the proper time? Now they can conspire with the race officials to cover for them.
The officials grew concerned and tried to contact team 11. No one answered their radios. Team 11 blew them off the race officials. Team 11 knew when they headed for a violation 'checkpoint' they were scratched. They did not notify the officials of a scratch. The officials appear to be as remiss with handling this as Team 11.
Why isn't the any media taking care of business?
After the officials tried to contact Team 11 and no one would answer, they tracked Team 11 with GPS. GPS showed Todd was at his house.
That explains the media report when the lead official said he knew nothing about a scratch and he said Todd was missing for up to 2 hours. At that time he didn't know where Team 11 was. They didn't go to correct checkpoint and were missing.
Why won't Alaskan media ask questions and report on this story? It is a very important one. There are some people in Alaska who would not want a cover up. I hope complaints are made to high heaven. Has the media yet to try to get answers and statements from officials?
In most cases Todd and Tyler would be hounded by media to tell their side. Why are they getting a free get out of jail pass so to speak? If they are cowards they can always hide from the media but the media must get to work.
Had Todd and Tyler been man up they could have prevented the entire race from looking like a bunch of frauds. The officials and all the racers are supporting Todd and Tyler in their cheating because they are as bad as they are. The call it camaraderie. It is comrades in crime time of closeness and support. No wonder Todd went to Nome to have the trolls say he was being supportive. He needed support and cover up from his comrades.
What a horrendous example of sportsmanship this is for the children of Alaska and the world.

DeleteThere is also such a thing as sportsmanship and being a good sport. Even when the first horse crosses the finish line, or the first car wins the checkered flag, the rest of the pack follows. They don't quit. If Todd was really a good sport, they would have followed the rules that apply to fixing a disabled snow machine and rejoined the race (it's not really a hunt, Sarah). Even if they finished last, it's the pride of completing the job. Every year, we see some guy hobble across the finish line at a marathon, hours after everyone else, but he was determined to finish, even it it meant limping across the finish line. Quitting is for losers.

It teaches much more than self defense, it teaches self esteem, respect for self and others, self discipline, following rules, and so much more to count.

Bristol's letter to Melissa Rivers, explaining that she couldn't discipline Tripp? Bristol's blog requesting parenting advice from strangers? Tripp acting out in "Live's a Tripp?" The "F-Bomb"? How about Bristol unable to handle Tripp vs. Melissa having him follow a chore chart in a week? Where does Tripp sleep now?

She is using his image, posting photos of him on facebook, ad nauseum, with knowledge that she has followers who are critics and curiosity-seekers.

Great idea but horrible site! Besides the fees, if you don't reach your goal, you don't get the money. We set it up for my brother's unexpected death for funeral costs and the goal was set at $5,500 we raised $1,595 and couldn't get any of it and having to ask donors 2 weeks later to send you a check is so embarrassing!

I, just like the reviewer below, was in shock when almost 10% of the raised funds were all that were transferred. $2500 raised and they kept nearly $250.
This might be tolerable if it was CLEAR up front, and if I could make the minimum investment high enough to stomach the minimum per transaction fee. For $10 investments - darn near 1/2 went to the site.
If you look at the site, you'll so most of the $7955 raised were $20, $25 bucks, which means GoFundMe got an out of proportion amount of the funds that were raised.
Also, not that Skidoo put in $5,000 so the site only raised fewer than 3,000 total aside from Skidoo.
Again, I wonder why that cancer group allowed themselves to be affiliated with this GoFundMe website. I wonder if they even know?

The Boys will be Boys movie had a website that was active but went down on Sunday and has never come back up. They'd only collected $750 for the movie but now the website is gone, inactive and shut down. Wonder what that is all about as well?

The point is that it was against the rules for him to go to Wasilla. The rules state he must go to a check point. That way there won’t be any hanky-panky. The racers are allowed to switch out whole parts, but not whole engines or whole machines.

When his father has shared custody he will have a better chance. Bristol may be required to go to parenting classes or for psycho evaluation. If she is diagnoses with a psychosis or mental/emotional disorder of any kind she might be required to be on medication (not self medicate) and psychotherapy. We can hope the judge does the best interest of the child.

I agree. Tripp is having anger issues. Guardians will turn to karate lessons at times like that. Is Tripp self inflicting pain to himself, striking out at playmates or his guardians? I hope Levi can get to the heart of the matter of his sons tribulations ASAP. Feeling the loss of his father, mother and sister at home is probably the main thing that cuts him up. Tripp also has face to face with Bristol, he is forced to deal with her.

As if Bristol is reminded of an old saying “you’re either sleeping well, or eating well.” She wants people to believe she is eating, sleeping well. That means she is a total mess and livid having to have her lawyer deal with Levi's custody and contempt matters.
That picture of Tripp is haunting. I remember when my son (Tripp's age) showed off his "muscles" he did the typical boxing stance with arms upraised. He did not stick out his tongue. Why does Tripp have to show off the Hulk pose with his tongue sticking out. He does not look happy but angry.

When will Bristol realize how she was used by her parents - for their own purposes - and that she is continuing this by using Tripp to further her own misguided purposes?
I have my doubts that Bristol has the ability or tools available to her to reach this realization that will set her free and free her son Tripp.
She lacks the intellect to logically analyze what's going on and make adjustments. She lacks emotional connections with others that could help her get in touch with real love and compassion. Does she ever cry over anybody but herself? She is locked into a false religion that offes her any spiritual growth.
No, Bristol is not able to free hereself from within. That she holds her son, a little boy, for her shield is abominable. Why doesn't she see this? When will she realize this?
I do not understand why Levi files for custody then does not respond to her response. How many times has this happened? Is it bad attorneys advising him?
