Bill Maher's New Rules from Friday night's show.

The entire segment is pretty good, but what Maher says about the importance of Democrats getting control of the language used in politics is a must see.

"What's the difference between drilling for oil and energy exploration? Nothing, except one sounds like something assholes do, and one sounds like Indiana Jones."

"What's the difference between Creationism and Intelligent Design? Not IQ points."

My son went to the taping of Bill's show in Hollywood on Friday. He also got to be a 'extra' in a 'film that was filming' with Seth Rogen at the very same time.
Bill Maher is funny, but he's also very insightful. He tells it like it is and doesn't mince words. I love him!

I've already quoted Bill from this segment, on Facebook...alluding to how closely it mirrors Orwell's "Newspeak" idea, from "1984."

Camouflaging ugly things by presenting them in flowery language to the easily manipulated masses, is a trademark of totalitarian regimes, which is what today's Republican movement aims to be.
