Courtesy of Raw Story:
The leader of a Ku Klux Klan group in Virginia says the notoriously racist “Hooded Order” is really just a non-violent Christian organization.
“We don’t hate people because of their race. I mean, we’re a Christian organization,” Frank Ancona, an Imperial Wizard of the Traditional American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, told WWBT on Thursday.
He insisted that the KKK had been unfairly maligned for its acts of violence against black people in the United States.
“Because of the acts of a few rogue Klansmen our Klansmen are supposed to be murderers and want to lynch black people, and we are supposed to be terrorists, and that is a complete falsehood.”
Ancona’s KKK group has been tossing racist fliers onto residents lawns in Chesterfield County in the middle of the night. The fliers include a phone number, an email address and information about two websites that claim the KKK is a non-violent group that is not the “enem[y] of the colored and mongrel races.”
Earlier this month, Ancona told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that “[t]he thing that really gets me is that [people are] saying we’re teaching our children to hate people just because of their race, creed and color, and that’s a complete lie and falsehood.”
That's right and the Nazis never killed any Jews, the Mormons never murdered an innocent group of immigrants during the Mountain Meadows Massacre, and the settlers never slaughtered any Native Americans. It was all a huge misunderstanding.
Ancona is right about one thing though, the Klan was made up entirely of white, Anglo Saxon, Christian citizens.
After all, without religion how can true evil really survive?
I saw that story the other day, and my first reaction was WTF? Then I came to think about it, and realized that they ARE correct. They ARE a Christian organization, comprised of only Christians, I am pretty sure.
ReplyDeleteBesides, the ReThugLiCON party is an extension of this organisation. Admittedly, they do not burn crosses, and they do not outright kill people, but they sure advocate it.
Their history shows them as racists and murderers! Do they truly think their deeds cannot be documented? They hung blacks - burned their houses - raped - etc.
ReplyDeleteTrue Christians (barf!) and I'll wager the majority of them are and were Republicans!
"...two websites that claim the KKK is a non-violent group that is not the “enem[y] of the colored and mongrel races.”
ReplyDelete----------------------------------------
Well, dumbasses, as soon as you say you are not the enemy of "colored and mongrel" races, you have just proven that you are exactly that.
WTF? Talk about control, control, control.
ReplyDeleteGOP Bill Would Force Divorcing Women To Get Permission Before Sex
Hard to believe a small-government Republican would want to make you check with the government before having sex.
If Massachusetts State Sen. Richard J. Ross (R) gets his way, that’s exactly what many women (and men) would have to do if they have children and are going through a divorce. In fact, not only would permission-less coitus be banned, but so too would the romantic evening and many dating activities.
His bill says:
In divorce, separation, or 209A proceedings involving children and a marital home, the party remaining in the home shall not conduct a dating or sexual relationship within the home until a divorce is final and all financial and custody issues are resolved, unless the express permission is granted by the courts.

the domestic taliban's book-0-rulz continues to evolve, eh
DeleteHow do they plan on enforcing this law, cameras in the bedroom?
DeleteWhat a moron !
What is this PIG? What 'religion' does he claim to justiify this crap of his? Is he a mormon, the American (woman hating) Taliban?
DeleteJust the fact that he uses "colored and mongrel races" when he speaks shows his true colors.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do hate Roman Catholics, who are Christian, as well as Muslims, Jew, homosexuals, uppity women, and anyone else who doesn't look or sound like them They're truly unAmerican.
ReplyDeleteMy mother is a member of a group called "Uppity Women Unite" and it began in the 70's and continues on today.
DeleteO/T but Here's more 'we hate Obama' crap they are pulling, Gryphen.
ReplyDeleteRepublican Congressman Proposes ‘No More National Parks’ Bill to Punish Obama for Approving California Monument
As sure as John Boehner wakes up every day with a hangover, you can always be certain that when President Obama is for something, the Tea Party Congress is against it. If the White House issued a proclamation tomorrow morning saying that the sky is blue, the House Republicans would release a statement by noon stating that no, the sky is green.
Such is the fate of the National Park Service and the protection of our public lands. Rep. Rob Bishop (R-UT) and Rep. Doc Hastings (R-WA) are spearheading a new “No More National Parks” policy. Next week they will introduce H.R. 1459, a regressive measure which would amend the Antiquities Act of 1906, restricting its presidential powers, among other rollbacks.
This legislative tantrum erupted last week when the president used the venerable 108-year old law to expand the California Coastal Monument. Clearly, Obama is an out-of-control dictator, protecting public lands by exercising a power that 15 presidents of both parties — including George W. Bush himself — have used since Teddy Roosevelt.
In Bishop’s words, “the House was punked by the President.” Putting aside his disregard for precedent, is this a sincere effort to rein in presidential excess? Will the Constitution ring loudly with freedom once again if we return all public lands protection under the care of Congress?
If only it were so. Just last week, a bill passed that included a passage for protecting lands at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Until then, Congress had not passed a single measure to protect public lands since 2009, the longest stretch of inaction since World War II. Add to this their cynical government shutdown last fall that closed the National Parks and cost the government $414 million in lost revenue from visitors. This has nothing to do with the balance of powers and everything to do with opposing Obama for the sake of opposing Obama.
Let us review the simple and straightforward text from Section 2 of the Antiquities Act:

We don't hate people because of their race? So, lynching black men was just for sheer entertainment? Assholes! You can't rewrite history.
ReplyDeleteThe murder of innocent black children in Birmingham, AL while in a house of GOD by the KKK cannot be whitewashed away. It was a lot more than a "few rogue Klansman" who terrorized anyone who did not conform to their ideology in the past, or today for that matter.
ReplyDeleteChristians eating their own....Oh I forgot..white Christians are the only ones that count...
They considered themselves to be a religious group that is why they burned crosses instead of another symbol. Nothing says Christian love like a giant cross in front of your house on fire as a threat, beating people or lynching people. The KKK’s origins are Protestantism and the Freemasons. My parents grew up in Mississippi during a time when the KKK was strong. My mother said the KKK and Masons were all the same people.
ReplyDeleteIn or around 1900 to 1920, they started their strangle hold on the republican party making those organizations the racists they are today. They joind the corrupt business faction of the republican party that was making a power grab for the party, causing the altruistic abolitionists to leave the party they founded in the 1890's. Realizing the horib;le people in the party, by the 1950's & 1960's there was a mass exodus of all the educated voters to the Democratic Party leaving Democrats with congressional majorities for a time. When the rethuglicons realized they were losing people, they started the lying media campaigns and recruiting all the dimwits in the bible belt. We were once a Nation proud of persuing education and now we glorify the stupid uneducated hillbilly lifestyle. I wish I could move to France.
DeleteOh, and they also hate Mormons, Hindus, Jehovah's Witnesses, Quakers, scientologists, atheists, agnostics, Christian Scientists, Unitarians...you name it.
ReplyDeleteThey undoubtedly would reject the Deism of the Founding Fathers. as well as the Puritanism of the original Protestant Pilgrims.
They're an all-hate, all the time bunch of well-armed yahoos. Always have been. Just Sarah's kind of crowd.
Cotton Mather
Yet they don't get it, they all claim to be the rightious christians, and they do not realize if each had their ways they would take us back to the 15th century and they would be killing each other for being the wrong kind of christian. I would not mind seeing that but they would bother all of us non believers as well.
DeleteSo teaching white superiority and supremacy isn't hate?
ReplyDeleteI guess that proves these particular white folk are supremely ignorant.
I don't know any 'christians' that wear a hood.
ReplyDelete...and Nicole used to beat O.J. up, and Jeffrey Dahmer simply had an eating disorder, and the 9/11 hijackers were just making a political statement, and the cow jumped over the moon and the dish ran away with the spoon.
ReplyDeleteWell Put!!!
DeleteSo is this the premier episode of "Amazing America", or does it air later in the season?
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha
DeletePerfect.
Is that a Heath Family Reunion?
ReplyDeleteThese bigoted idiots are too chickenshit to show their faces in public. I wish they'd go sell stupid elsewhere, because I'm not buying it.
ReplyDeleteThat photo, to me, is nothing more than pornography.
Isn't Ted Nugent there? He also talks about 'mongrel races'.
