Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Might just be the greatest selfie ever!
Screw Sarah Palin and her talk about taking pictures with cold fish, I would much rather have my picture taken with any of these amazing men.
I heard Neil on NPR the other day. What a brilliant man. All three of these guys are far and away more intelligent that anyone on the right (not that that bar is currently very high!) But they think and ponder, and THEN decide. Or they do more research and think some meow. No hair-trigger decisions for these three. And yeah, I'd be thrilled to be in the same room with any of them.
Neil deGrasse Tyson, the new guide to the “Cosmos.”
A thirteen-episode series on Fox, “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey,” will begin airing on March 9th. The show is a sequel to “Cosmos: A Personal Voyage,” the celebrated series that was hosted by Sagan and broadcast on PBS, in 1980.

ReplyDeleteIt's my b-day, too. I love it that I share a birthday with Dr. Seuss.
DeleteOn-topic: I love the selfie.

Happy B Day, Jennifer! Dr Seuss was one of my favorites growing up, but I truly was amazed by his brilliance when I read his works to my kids.
DeleteI’m SO going to steal that for my desktop!
ReplyDeleteA trifecta of awesome.

Wait a minute. Isn't this show about science? So it will be shown on Fox while all the science deniers are on Fox News.
