That awkward moment when Ted Cruz starts an anti-Obamacare poll and learns what Americans REALLY think.

These were the top choices by the way. I did not even have to pick through them to find the ones that supported the Affordable Care Act.

They ALL did.

Now, Gryphen, you KNOW this piece of sh*t is going to deny he got those! Either that or he is going to say that all the responders were Democrats trying to skew the results. Or he is going to come up with ones that countered this - even if he has to create them himself.

Whatever he says, it WON'T acknowledge this information - at least, not honestly.

Obamacare is here to stay. The GOP will have no choice but to use Monica, Monica, Monica as a rallying cry.

It IS still there. Felicia's comment at the top is well over 1,000 now in just a few hourse. Plus there are articles on the internet about it much like this one.

Now that it's out there in the media, Cruz can't very well start deleting comments without looking even worse now. Ha ha too late, he asked the question & is stuck with the answers.

  6. Thank you, Gryphen, for posting this because otherwise I'd never think to go on Ted's wall. This is what I just posted for him (and you can, too, because it's still up--just scroll down to March 24):
"We do so like Obamacare--no matter how, no matter where! Ted, if you weren't blinded by your hate of our President, you probably would understand the meaning behind "Green Eggs and Ham." The character who HATES green eggs and ham ends up liking them after he TRIES them. Any five-year-old will understand this by the end of the story. But you? Are you not bright enough to get it, or just so stubbornly stupid that you refuse to understand? But your reading that book in Congress certainly illustrated the OPPOSITE of what you intended. The only thing that needs to be done to Obamacare is to STRENGTHEN it and make it single payer!!!!!"

Didn't Ted Cruz say that he doesn't use the government insurance provided for senators, because he is on his wife's "wall street" insurance? Isn't her firm one of those who "we" bailed out, so they can keep giving bonuses and giving cadillac insurance to each member of the employee's family? Cruz and Palin, the 2 biggest hypocritical celebriticians, one with wall street cadillac insurance and the other whose family is covered by free native health care. But, of course, both adamantly opposed to anyone ELSE getting affordable health care. Reminds me of Romney's mother going on about how Romney's father was covered by welfare in his early years when their family were "refugees" from Mexico. http://www.npr.org/blogs/itsallpolitics/2012/09/19/161409916/welfare-wasnt-always-a-dirty-word-in-the-romney-family

It's just all those other ewe-people who don't deserve any help,
      or affordable insurance,
      or SNAP benefits,
      or Social Security,
      or Veterans' benefits,
      or unemployment insurance,

It is safe to say that Fox News is trying to pass off some Republican book cooking of their own as fact, in order to portray the ACA as a total failure.

The truth that Fox and their GOP allies don’t want to admit is that there is a huge demand in this country for affordable health insurance. Yes, the law does need tweaked as unintended consequences arise, but Republicans aren’t even pretending to be realistic about the ACA anymore.

They are living in their own fantasy land, where they know that Obamacare is a failure, and they will reject anything that suggests otherwise.

Fox News is spawning a whole new group of Republicans. They are the Obamacare deniers. No matter how successful the law becomes, they will still stick to their claims that it isn’t happening.

Their behavior is sad, pathetic, and a little disturbing because this is the same crowd that the American people put in charge of the House of Representatives.

And what is even more fun is that those who try to argue against the ACA have their ducks in a row and slap the living hell out of those who make wild ass claims about it being too expensive or having to now pay a fine or etc.

It really was funny. If anyone else has the time, SOURCE right at the end. It takes you to his Facebook page.

GOP's Obamacare spite means death toll for red states

...Yet as damaging as that uncertainty and chaos has been, the Republican Party's scorched-earth opposition to Obamacare is producing something far worse: a body count. That's not hyperbole, but a grim reality. Due to what might be the greatest act of political spite in modern American history, Republicans will needlessly leave millions of people uninsured, many hospitals on the edge of financial ruin and thousands of Americans dead, mostly in the states the GOP itself controls.

Here's how the Republicans' killer math works.

Someone posted the link to that Ted Cruz post, and the Pee's are wetting their pants. They accused the person posting it of being a troll. Here is one response:

Why are you disappointed? Is Cruz a personal friend of yours? Does your existence depend upon the doings of another?

That same person then posted this comment: While I don't care for 'trolls' in the sense that they appear for the sole purpose of disrupting discussions and, in that way, censoring the free and open communication between people - I'm always willing to discuss an issue with someone of an opposing view, if they're sincere in their position and can explain their reasoning. Much easier to exercise our independence if we understand those on either side of us, attempting to do the same.

The thinking in the Pond is that limited, calling someone names and then explaining that they really do want to engage in thoughtful debate. Their idea of thoughtful debate is "get off of our page, you troll."

Oh, the Pee Pond is a morass of dysfunction! The old heart attack guy, Virginia Gentleman, whose wife just had surgery for some sort of ailment, well, they are both ancient and physically impaired but somehow they are now in charge of a 13 year old grandson! Woah, wait a second, how fucked up is that kid's parents that they have to dump the kid with the olds that are both barely able to take care of themselves?

They are dirts that raised stupid dirt kids that ended up having some kids that they couldn't take care of and now one of those grandkids is dumped on the ill grandparents that can't even take care of themselves. So where is the dad or mom? Drug addicted? Alcoholic? There has to be a problem if the parents give up a kid to two very sick grandparents.

Sure, call me an elite, I'm proud about that. I'd never find myself in their situation. I bet these people were grandparents before they were 50.

Why Dems haven't embraced the ACA and start running on it (instead of away from it) is beyond me. In every poll that asks if people favor or oppose Obamacare, the "oppose" votes include at least 10% who oppose it because it doesn't go far enough. Yet assclowns like Ted Cruz and Fox News dishonestly continue to portray the law as unpopular. It's not, it's here to stay, and Republicans have nothing of substance to offer on the subject.

  15. Anonymous10:50 AM

Just because he was born here, doesn't mean he upholds the values of most canadians, which are not of the Cruz brand. Ted Cruz and his father are dangerous men. The elder Cruz, a rebel from Cuba, and Ted's mom, an American. The used the Canadian soil for their own purposes, then discarded it when they didn't need it anymore.

O/T Christie Appointed Law Firm Is Same Group That Cleared Nixon Of Corruption Charge

"Well, lookee here, some things never change, even after 62 years. Randy Mastro is a partner at the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Tasked by the governor to lead the internal review of the Bridgegate scandal, which conveniently cleared Christie of any wrongdoings in the matter. The Fix found a very interesting connection to another embattled politician trying to get out from under scandalous allegations....

... With the scandal swirling, GOP presidential candidate Dwight Eisenhower ordered an independent investigation -- conducted by Gibson Dunn -- which ultimately concluded that Nixon had not behaved improperly.

Armed with that conclusion, Nixon traveled to Los Angeles and delivered his now-famous "Checkers speech," a 30-minute televised addressed in which he declared he had done nothing wrong, praised the Gibson Dunn law firm as "one of the best ones in Los Angeles," and asked Americans to write letters to the RNC and voice their support for his candidacy.

And isn't Gov. Chris Christie doing the exact same thing? He's armed himself with his self-serving investigation and going on TV along with his surrogates claiming his innocent in the Bridgegate scandal?

How did that work out for the United States of America and Richard Nixon?"
