We’re so proud that Bristol has been graduated tonight from Penrose Academy in Arizona. She’s heading back to Alaska soon (because she misses the snow, mountains, and her truck!) to continue her work at Dr. Cusack's dermatology practice. It's been a great four years with Doc; he's been an understanding and very patient boss as Bristol has enjoyed many opportunities in addition to her good employment in Anchorage at Alaska Dermatology and Laser Center. We’re happy for her to have finished this challenging, rewarding academy; and now she’s ready to be licensed in “all things skin,” which is what she’s always wanted to do. I’m a huge proponent of trade/tech schools that teach real-world employable skills that reward work ethic and integrity. Smart, employable, debt free, vo-tech grads have good jobs available for them right out of school! Go for it, vo-tech grads! Get out there and work, and change the world for the better! - Sarah Palin
I will have to assume that Palin herself wrote this post, and not one of her ghostwriters.
How else to explain the "Bristol has been graduated" description as opposed to the more grammatically friendly "Bristol graduated tonight" which the majority of people who paid attention in English class might use?

As for this mythical job at Dr. Cusack's office, how many of us would love to have an employer who kept our position open while we took jobs on Dancing with the Stars, bought a house in another state, and then starred in our own reality show? (Update: By the way you should see how his patients rate his bedside manner.)
I mean it is almost like the job was created solely to give the impression that Bristol had steady employment as a favor to her mother or something. Or is that too cynical of me?
It is a good thing that this whole "skin school" thing is over with and that now Bristol can come back and face the music concerning her ongoing custody battle with Levi.
I believe the next hearing is early next month, and it looks like the Johnston's have a pretty strong case.
Well now Granny Grifter has both an in house wig wrangler and makeup slatherer, that she can put on the reality show payroll as well as use SarahPAC to funnel money to for providing "consultation."
Well I guess with hair and makeup covered the only thing left for poor Piper is to go to fashion school and learn how to help her mother to stop dressing like a rapidly aging teenybopper.
Good luck with that kid.
Forget about Piper and fashion. She's already dressing like her mother ~ clueless and with no taste.
ReplyDeleteHow come Piper was taller than her sisters in the X-mas photos? She shrunk? or she had a cousin stand in?
As far as Bristol returning to AK because she loves the snow and her truck....total BS. Mummy and Daddy won't let her have Shaileigh Tripp's truck in AZ? She HAS to return to AK to face the music in front of a judge. She needs to explain why she's violating court orders.
Go Levi! Get your son back!
Check out Bristol's shoes in the photo below. Willow and Palin must also be in serious heels. I'm guessing Piper is the only one wearing remotely reasonable footwear. Plus she's standing slightly in front.
DeletePS. Nice of them to pick up such an elegant bouquet. Nothing screams class quite like a mixed bouquet from Safeway.
I've been to Phoenix, and people drive trucks there, too. Imagine someone missing their truck. What a crock! And what a stupid thing to write.
DeleteAssuming Piper and Todd are in flat shoes, I’d put him at 5’ 7” and her at 5’ 4”. She’s bigger than Sarah and Willow, and maybe the same size as Bristol. Besides, she could grow a bit more. Piper may actually have the right stuff, but everyone else will hold her down.
DeleteTodd is reported to be 5'9".
DeleteThose flowers look as though $carah plucked them out of a vase at the reception desk! Any store would have wrapped them. Maybe she passed through a cemetary on the way to the skin school?
DeleteDr. Cusack doesn't have very good google rating either: https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox&hs=J0J&rls=Palemoon%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&channel=fflb&sclient=psy-ab&q=Dr.+Cusack+AK&btnG=#lrd=lrd
Delete"Went on time and waited over 30 mins. Doctor didnt say hi but rather, "what are you here for". Not interested in patients AT ALL and I was with him for literally 3 mins. Front desk people are phony and don't know any answers to questions, they give excuse after excuse. I will never go here again, it was the worst! OH and some lady came out of the back and was talking to a patient about her issues right in front of me! Don't expect any patient confidentiality! HORRRRRIBLE, you'll have no trouble getting an appointment because all the other good dermatologists are booked, SKIP THEM!" Sounds like a Palin "doctor" for sure....
$20 says that his Review pages will suddenly get hit with lots of gushing comments now that we've pointed out the problem....oh wait, maybe the PAC doesn't have enough money to pay trolls to post anymore. That darn "postage" gets more expensive every month, it seems.
DeleteWhoa. Sarah must have gotten an industrial strength bicycle pump.
ReplyDelete"has been graduated" writing fail - whether hers or a ghostwriter. Communications major? hahahahahahahahhahahah
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm mistaken, excuse me if I am remembering whrong, but didn't Ms Palin say she was paying for the beauty school for the girls? Actually I agree with her, and so does President Obama, that trade school certificates are often more useful than traditional college degrees, with respect to immediate employment. But, if the mother paid for the beauty school certificates, then the schooling could hardly be considered "debt free".
ReplyDeleteYes, and I believe it was an expensive school, so a lot of the grads (or their parents) do not leave debt-free.
DeleteTuition is $17K+ and supplies are $3700+ for a certificate proving you know there are 3 layers of skin.
DeleteI will have to assume that Palin herself wrote this post, and not one of her ghostwriters.
ReplyDeleteHow else to explain the "Bristol has been graduated" description as opposed to the more grammatically friendly "Bristol graduated tonight" which the majority of people who paid attention in English class might use?
Sarah Palin went to five colleges to supposedly get one degree in journalism. Maybe she should have went to six colleges to learn proper English?
"Maybe she should have went to six colleges to learn proper English?"
DeleteMaybe she is not the only one who "should have went".
Glass houses...?
DeleteLOL.
DeleteShe should of have gotten a ged's like her kids.We on hear are way more smarter.
Delete8:55 am That has to be snark, or you are Stupid.
Delete8:55 wins the internet today for the correct use of the plural possessive hyphen.
DeleteWhy does she assume that vocational grads are debt-free? I know plenty of young people saddled with debt from massage therapy and cosmetology programs. The overall figure might be lower than a four-year college program, but it's hard to pay back loans while earning such a low income.
ReplyDeleteYes, my nephew has $40,000 in debt from a truck mechanic school. Granted, he got a job (though it took a year, it isn't automatic), and will pay it back, but for an 18-month program, it wasn't cheap or debt-free by any means.
DeleteMy son will graduate from a 4-year college with less debt. (And please god, will be able to get a job) :)
Not everyone who goes to Penrose is as lucky and well off as the Palin girls. That's why they also have a scholarship program.
DeleteScholarships, right. These places are for-profit mills. The average cost for a 2-year trade education is $33K, I assume not including room/board, and the average student graduates with $10K in debt. Penrose is more expensive than average, and Scottsdale is not a cheap place to live. I would like to see stats on the average debt load of students who don't sail through on family money, or "postage." I bet it's at least $20K, which I further bet is huge compared to the salaries that graduates of "skin school" command.
DeleteYea, most don't have GrifterPacs to dip into...like brissie and wallows...
DeleteI run a trade school that only costs $10,000, but others in our field are $30K per year or more. The big difference is that we are teeny tiny and won't jump through the hoops for federal financial aid. Either you have the funds or you don't (unfortunately for some), but that means that very few people graduate our school with debt. She should look into the culinary academies that cost $40k or more! Trade school does not mean "cheap school." Idiot.
Delete'Debt free' just proves once again that Sarah Palin is the ultimate in stupid. In Palin world, $20K for a beauty school certificate is small change from the PAC. Postage...most likely.
ReplyDeleteBLS says average salary for cosmetologists is $22,500/ year. And the problem with that, is little room to move up,unless you can own your own business. thus, the problem with vocational schools.
DeleteDo you think Piper will drop out of high school so Sarah can send her to fashion school?
ReplyDeleteYou are not supposed to wear horizontal stripes if you are carrying a big behind.
Cosmetology. Sarah has the hair and skin care taken care of, and now she needs a make up girl.
Delete"Fashion school" is four years. There's no way any Palin spawn will achieve that. Sarah Palin couldn't even do it in six.
DeleteIs Trig mad at Sarah for taking off all the time to endorse candidates and not being at home? Look how far he is standing away from Sarah.
ReplyDeleteTrig has no clue who Green Screen Mean even is.
DeleteTrack must not be proud of Bristol, where is he?
ReplyDeleteTrackmarks must not be proud of his sisters "skin school" "has been graduated".
DeleteTruck is usually too high to go anywhere
DeleteWhere are the rest of Bristol' s and Willow' s kids ???
Deletewith Bristol's caretaker....
DeleteDamn! Sarah Palin's hair is thinning out as she gets older.
ReplyDeleteThat's an old picture from when $carah was in California, and an article was written about Barstool on how good she looked after her weight loss. Why won't they post a recent picture. Aren't they proud of Barstool's accomplishments?
ReplyDeleteI KNEW Piper shrunk compared to just a few months ago. An old picture explains that. They always use old pictures.
DeleteTrig without front teeth means he is 7 years old or older.
Looks like the dress Sarah wore to one of Bristol s DWTS appearance.
DeleteCould this be from that time?
Whoa, thanks for pointing that out. I should have read further before posting. Yeah, Piper looked large compared to her basketball classmates.
DeleteIs the picture below old as well? I'm not a troll, I'm seriously asking. Bristol looks pretty thin in that photo as well, although I did wonder if she had borrowed Mama's best girls for the day.
DeleteNot an old photo. We look as dumb as they are when people paint a conspiracy onto every Palin family photo. Even this abhorrent example of family values does stuff together sometimes, in real time, not in a photoshopped representation of a family gathering. Yes, they are stupid low-achievers, but even those types of people get together for important family events.
DeleteMany of our parents would have been horrified if we went to "beauty school" instead of continuing our education but none of this family has the brainpower necessary for even a public college education. Live and let live. People like the Palins go to Vo-Tech, they join the military, they do other things that a lot of us could not imagine being our future. There are many people like them that see them as being an example of how to live their lives. I don't care, and you shouldn't either, they are what they are, and there are plenty more like them in this country. If you ask me there are too many like them, but America allows that and the rest of us have to live with it.
What a joke - "even a public college" You do knwo that many state schools have even higher standards than some private schools?
DeleteThe only reason a multimillionaire's children doesn't go to college is because they are not smart enough, not because they want to be debt free.
ReplyDeleteSarah Palin needs to stop making phony excuses.
Agreed - hard to get HS dropouts into college even if they have a GED.
DeleteUnfortunately, this farce of a family has Stupid in their genes with a shared double digit IQ hovering around 73 to 78 on a good day. They don't need no damned higher edumacation when lies are easier in their huge joke of a life.
Delete"hard to get HS dropouts into college even if they have a GED."
DeleteExcept if you are rich and influential person, preferably an alumnus, who makes large donations.
Which wouldn't get any of the GED Palins in anywhere that matters for a whole bunch of reasons.
Funds must be getting low, Toad is STILL wearing that cruddy cowboy shirt. $carah's crusty black jeans must have finally fallen apart.
ReplyDeleteTodd looks like a bum. IRON YOUR SHIRT!
ReplyDeleteGetting downright pudgy also too,
DeleteTodd looks like he's taking steroids, the medical kind, in an amount that's giving him a moon face. Or maybe he's just getting fat.
DeleteSo now Beefalo can work at the Clinique counter at Macy's? wow, what an overachieving family
ReplyDeleteAll Things Skin, sounds like Beefalo is ready to be the serial killer in Silence of the Lambs
ReplyDeleteOh shit! Zoom in on Willow's eyes, who in hell did her eye shadow? Looks like she works for Todd.
ReplyDeleteAt least someone in that family graduated SOMETHING.
ReplyDeleteScreech, that is a HUGE forhead, better stick to bangs.
ReplyDelete"We’re happy for her to have finished this challenging, rewarding academy;"
ReplyDeleteChallenging, rewarding academy?
If Willow who dropped out of high school in her sophomore year went to this so called school then it must not be challenging.
Excuse me, Bristol stuck it out for 6 months, 3 days a week. That's just amazing!
DeleteWhen you're a Palin, you should be commended for sticking it out for that long. Three days a week? I'm sure the rest of the time, Bristol was sleeping, she was so tired. It's just THAT challenging.
DeleteWhat is with Bristol's chest in the class photo? Not very natural - her breasts are way too high and look very weird.
ReplyDeletepost partum and breastfeeding - still has the extended belly
DeleteWe’re so proud that Bristol has been graduated tonight
ReplyDelete--------------------------------------------
Such a festive occasion, too cheap to make the effort to wrap the grocery store bought flowers.
Looks like Trig lost a few front teeth-wonder when the photo was actually taken.
Bottom photo: bristol continues the family tradition of buying gladiator shoes that are too large
If Sarah had only attended Vo-tech instead of six tries at five different colleges. Sigh,,,,,
ReplyDeleteUmm Bristol, where's Joey Junker? Did he leave you too?
ReplyDeleteI call fake on this.
DeleteIf Bristol had the Junker baby there is no way she is taking pictures so soon and looking slender.
She was a cow at Disneyland.
ALL these people do is LIES LIE LIE!!
So where is big brother?
this was probably back when he was doing his odd stint in the military (or whatever the hell that was)
Look at the top picture. WTF happened to Bristol's bottom lip?
ReplyDeleteBOTOX.
DeleteWhere's Trig's prescription glasses?
ReplyDeleteIf he's supposed to wear glasses, then for all the ties we've seen pictures of him without them, that's medical neglect.
DeleteI have a couple friends whose small children wear glasses. One has Down Syndrome and the other sensory integration difficulties. I've seen both mothers struggle with their children to wear glasses, but in the end the children comply. In fact, whatever annoyance the kids might have with the glasses, they like it much better when they can actually see. My friends had to try different frames until they found ones that fit correctly.
Not everyone wants to go on to college. The Palins don't seem to show much interest in higher education, or for that matter, any kind of education. Bristol never looked at a cook book because she didn't know how to cook chicken. Bristol never looked at a parenting book because she admitted (after years) that she had discipline problems with Tripp.
ReplyDeleteThis big whoop-de-do is over a 6 month program that met 3 days a week. Bristol wanted to do skin care all her life. Really? I can't imagine what a high school graduate would be doing for 4 years in a dermatologist's office. Every person who works in my doctors' offices have a degree as a nurse, a medical technician or a medical assistant. Bristol must have been the one who put the white paper on the examining table and threw out the old paper gown. Considering what we have seen of Bristol's work ethic, it's hard to believe that she wants to spend her life taking care of people's skin, waiting on them, fussing over them and being nice to them. That ain't the Bristol we know.
wait...what ever happened to Bristol's dreams of being a nurse ???
Delete"Get out there and work, and change the world for the better!"
ReplyDeleteGet out there and beautify the world! Exfoliate! Moisturize! And work to eradickate every blackhead out there. Do not rest until you have unclogged every pore in this here great nation of ours. The rest of the world will be able to see America's exceptionalism and the zit free faces of every child in this country that God has so blessed us with.
So funny!
DeleteTodd is looking really old and tired. He could use one of those facials and a nice massage. In fact, he looked a lot better when Shailey was taking care of him.
ReplyDeleteAll those years sleeping in a chair in the living room has taken its toll.
DeleteTripp does not smile for the photos lately, he must be missing teeth like 7 year old Trig. Bristol had her newest baby before graduation, she is not hiding her belly anymore. Track Menard must not be a part of that Dysfunctional family, or he is too drugged to travel.
ReplyDeleteDoes Track ever go to Arizona? What DOES he do, anyway?
DeleteYou won't catch Sarah without her glasses but when it comes to Trig, the hell with him.
ReplyDeleteand HER glasses are simply cosmetic and are just to hide her crossed eyes....
DeleteDebt free? Only if you've got a Sugar Mommy to pay up front. Many vocational schools are a rip-off. They pile you with student loan debt, then when you are "graduated" you find out your degree isn't worth the paper it's printed on and potential employers laugh at your certification.
ReplyDeleteAll things skin? Wow. Like, she's almost a dermatologist now? Or does it mean she can now do bikini waxing? Gee, such ambition.
The cost of tuition for 6 months, three days a week was $13,000. At least Willow seemed to go to school longer for twice as much money. On the other hand, judging from Wilow' hair in the family photo, and Sarah's rat-nest wigs, I don't think that she learned very much at the Academy. (Academy does sound nicer than hair school).
Deleteaccording to their website - tuition starts at $17K plus another few thousand for supplies.
DeleteAccording to the Penrose's consumer estimate: $23,700 for 600 hrs/24 weeks/25 hrs/week for skin school.
Deletehttp://www.penroseacademy.com/assets/docs/PA_Consumer_Information_Oct_2013.pdf
This must be the "ivy league" of skin schools. HA HA
If you figure federal min. wage is $7.25/Hr or about $15,000/year this school is a rip off.
Better going to community college, but then again mommy couldn't "pay "for her "degree", she would actual have to earn something on her own.
9:33am
DeleteMy parents paid an average of $34,000 per year for my 5-year college education, and even with that degree sometimes I've not made more than $45,000 annually. I do what I love but don't make much money. Perhaps Bristol is doing what she loves even if it won't pay very much.
If Bristol does what she loves, she would work for Pimp Daddy Todd. Those Palin girls love sex.
DeleteYes - the Bristol "has been graduated" choice is interesting. It implies she didn't really deserve it or work for it, but got it anyway.
ReplyDeleteAs we know, Palin gives EVERYTHING away subconsciously. Here I beleive she is admitting that she herself never really deserved her college degree from UI, but may have been given a degree anyway - after the fact, by a generous GOP donation to the school.
Also, Bristol may not have actuallly earned all her clinical hours yet, or even did very well in the classes....but with a generous donation, momma made it happen - as she always does.
For now.
Creepy creepy people.
Bristol still has to be certified to practice skin care. Exactly how much can you learn about skin care 3 days a week for 6 months? Wash your face, pat dry, open your pores, don't put so much gunk on your face.
DeleteO/T - Gryphen- As a member of the Alaskan journalists' community, can you share your views regarding the purchase of the ADN by Alaska Dispatch? What do you think is behind this? What do you think some possible outcomes might be? Thanks
ReplyDeleteTodd, the Iron Dog,the Breast Cancer Benefit. The Amazing America dog sled segment with the pink coats and dog booties. Sarah's odd flat chest with differently placed and sized boobs, Did she for some reason have a "boob-ectomy"? She would never admit to having cancer as it would make her seem weak. Some women that have a gene marker have 'em removed as "prevention." Or, is she just playing some sorta tit for tat bit to get attention?
ReplyDeleteI really hate to say this(and agree with Sarah Palin), but to say I "have been graduated" is technically correct. Graduate can be used as a transitive verb, which requires an object, so the sentence "Bristol has been graduated" is correct, with Bristol as at the object.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that, but was afraid of the blow back, lol!
Delete8:30am and 8:57,
DeleteHi Bekka. So you did write this and fear the wrath of Sarah? You know Sarah will believe all this grammar nomenclature stuns us. TVs do require direct objects, but you effed this up. (She did, Sarah. Don't let her bullshit you. Don't let her blow another "Harvard comma" up your ass).
Sarah, Bekka has been hitting the box wine again. Dock her pay. (You're welcome).
I like to say a person earned a degree. "Has been graduated" makes it sound like the school did all the work. In this case, thought, that's probably not too far off.
Delete9:48 you're showing your ignorance. Do some homework, it's not common but it is correct.
Delete10:48,
DeleteSarah gonna rip your A-hole good.
As she should.
(Sarah, Bekka be making a fool out of you.)
I agree it's correct, but it's a far more formal way of putting it than casual conversation: "Hey, my kid graduated/I graduated/etc." IMO, it's too formal for Sarah or anyone working for her to know offhand--- it honestly just sounds like they used that turn of phrase because it was on the graduation pamphlet or something ("Your child ____ has been graduated.")
DeleteI was thinking the same thing, 11:40.
DeleteThe vo-tech school comment is so, so Palin. She cannot make a decent, positive comment about a vo-tech school without putting down traditional 4-year colleges.
ReplyDeleteYes, there are great vo-tech schools, and that is where lots of kids are & need to be, and it is a wonderful option for them.
There are great colleges, public & private & community, and kids need & want to be in those as well.
Attention Republicans & Palin in particular: Life isn't a zero-sum, I win-you-lose game. People make choices based on their own life circumstances, and that is great.
I hadn't noticed before but those girls really do look like their Daddys
ReplyDeletePiper looks like a Menard, so does Track. Where are Bristol's other babies?
DeleteI wonder if the other students at Penrose had to sign a confidentiality agreement. Bristol's nightlife had to be a subject at the lunch breaks.
DeleteThe old coot's bedside reviews says it all. Sounds like a drugged out mean asshole. Right up the palin's alley.
ReplyDeleteThe question ought to be: Why did Bristol and Willow choose to go to school in Arizona instead of in Anchorage? There are beauty schools, hair and skin programs offered in Alaska. Willow admitted that the reason she chose the Penrose branch in Phoenix was because if she went to school in Alaska, she would have to get up too early in the morning. I think that there might have been an issue with Saturday classes, too.
ReplyDeleteWhy DID Bristol go to school in Phoenix when there are skin care programs in Anchorage? I think that the fix was in at Penrose. I think that she did it to spite Levi. And that crap about missing the mountains, snow and truck was also supposed to be Willow's reason for returning home. Can't Sarah think of any new material?
Bristol went to Arizona because she had 9 month MONO.
DeleteAZ is the go to place to hide pregnancies and infants.
Delete@9:05 So, where is little Mono now?
DeleteKyla Grace is DWTS mono....the little mixed race boy??? (godchild pffft) not sure where he went. and the newest baby??? Bristol's nanny is working overtime to care for all the babies and Bristol. Time to get that girl fixed.
Delete@9:36 AM Ask Bristol where ALL of her Bastard babies are now. Good luck with that. Bristol and Willow are Breeders, and nothing more. Willow went to Penrose after gaining weight, and then Bristol went to Penrose after gaining weight. They always change locations when they become pregnant, just like when they were in High School. MONO! Sarah must have Dr. CBJ on speed dial to handle the Frequent Pregnancies of her daughters.
DeleteThey have better access to drugs in Wasilla, just like their half brother Track.
DeleteThe patient comments about Dr. Michael Cusack at RateMDs.com are very damning. 'He needs to retire, rude, disparaging, seemed drunk' are just a few mentioned. My guess is this practice is perfect for the likes of stain-ette. Low/no standards, no accountability, no ethics.
ReplyDeleteWe ARE talking about someone who injects botchulism into people's faces. It's the original scam to make you think you are beautiful.
DeleteIf Dr. Cusack retires, will Bristles become the new dermatologist then?? With all her recent training, she surely must be qualified, right?
DeleteIn any other circumstance, a family that would post themselves at a graduation of one of their kids', all together, on Facebook, would be considered a very normal thing to do.
ReplyDeleteIn the "Palin" circumstance, it always raises red flags and questions. First, because they already have access to lots and lots of media attention. They are self-made celebrities by their own choosing. They choose jobs that put them under the lights; they post personal photos of themselves and their kids to millions of viewers, and they demand viewers to read their blogs. They make many controversial statements, and use their 'celebrity' to influence the little people into defending everything they do.
The earn more money than an average real American does in a lifetime. So, when they post photos, imitating the little people, it looks extremely disingenuous. They are no match for the "little" people they pretend to represent. They use the little people to keep them employed with the highest-paid visual jobs in the land. They need those little people on the wall, to keep defending their brand and sending them their money.
Yep, that innocent-looking photo sends all kinds of "ain't that cute" sentiment to it, but in reality, the matron of that unholy alliance uses her daughter's graduation (yet again) to garner support and attention, which will eventually equal lots of lucrative TV offers and cash.
Bristol "been graduated" (from Sarah's narcissistic lips) means she can't even say with motherly pride that Bristol HAS graduated, and we're so PROUD. Sarah has to decimate the sentence; why? It's almost like she can't even hear herself say one of her kids 'graduated' because it would send her into a fit of rage and jealousy. It's almost obvious that Sarah is in competition with Bristol. She demonstrates that in her attitude.
Sarah has always been in competition with Bristol. That's why Sarah tried to seduce Levi. And Levi responded to Sarah's advances like any teenager would: "Yucky!"
DeletePlus using a photo that's a year old or more is not a common scam for most people. Yet, the Palins use them often. Why? to hide Beefy and Beefy's belly, of course.
DeleteSo, how hard are Bristol and Willow trying to get a reality tv show about starting their own beauty shop?
ReplyDeleteWhy are they using an old picture. I remember ALL their dresses & the shoes! That picture is from when Willow was in Arizona and at one point they took a picture in front of either Barstools or $carah's house, and like the granny Palin would say " she got graduated" or "Willow has been graduated."
ReplyDeletetsk tsk tsk...why do they ALWAYS have to lie or stretch the truth, or perhaps Bartool DID get her 6-month certificate, but she's still pregnant and they are trying to hide the junker baby.
Bingo! Bristol is still FAT from her pregnancy.
DeleteI do occasionally check into Etsy, so was not surprised to see an ad for them at the bottom of this post. But am ROFLOL to see the featured "items" are shredded cut-off Daisy Duke jeans, no legs at all, complete crotch is iffy and hard to tell from the photos. Fashion school dropouts!
ReplyDeleteWild Tortoise
OK, if I were writing a facebook post about my son or daughter, first and foremost, I would be so proud of them and I'm sure everyone here would be so proud of their own. It would show in our words and our actions.
ReplyDeleteCompare the un-inspiring creed Sarah wrote: "We're so proud "Bristol has been graduated tonight..." This is quite telling. Why can't Sarah just give a normal Contratulations to her daughter and use the correct language?????
"She's heading back to Alaska soon (because she misses the snow, mountains and her truck!)" - Any moms and dads here see how the child is no longer important? The focus now is on Sarah's great Alaska, she, being the Queen of the Outdoors, and the great mountain air, and her emission-spewing trucks (Sarah can't do anything without advertising herself or her show).
"It's been a great four years with Doc". He's been an understanding and very patient boss....." - Is this congratulations note about Bristol or her boss?
"I'm a huge proponent of trade/tech schools....." - Again, Sarah is talking about anyone else but Bristol. Sarah talks about HER and how SHE blah blah blah (enter partisan politics here, "you don't need a title to get anywhere" meme).
"Go for it, vo-tech grads!" - Again, Sarah using this as an opportunity to plug something. The focus is not on Bristol.
What would loving parents do? They would post a sweet sentimental story about how proud they were of their child and share how that child came a long way. Just family and close friends would read it and shed a tear, and that child would be so much happier for it. I feel for Bristol, as everything she does is under a microscope and her mom grabs her kids' accomplishments and grandstands and pushes her agenda with them. Pitiful.
As you pointed out it is about Sarah.
DeleteAs usual.
But she didn't mention the troops.
DeleteSarah should be proud of the Skin Certificate that she bought for her Borderline Retarded Daughter. Now she should BUY a Daddy for all of Bristol's and Willows Bastard children.
DeleteGREAT COMMENT!!
DeleteTrack must be really bad off if he can't make it to these family events. Is it because he can't or because he won't?
ReplyDeleteTrack is a Menard... Curtis is long gone but his son lives in the shadows of lies.
DeleteHow else to explain the "Bristol has been graduated" description as opposed to the more grammatically friendly "Bristol graduated tonight" … ?
ReplyDeleteI suggest that "more grammatically friendly" would be more appropriately phrased as "more familar to the reader."
According to the Merriam-Webster Webster's Third New International Dictionary unabridged (which I chose over the OED some 25 years ago as having more coverage of American usage) "graduate" can be used as a transitive verb or as an intransitive verb. It describes the transitive usage first:
1 a: to grant an academic or professional degree, diploma, or certificate to <expect to graduate approximately 380,000 this year > : dismiss with such a degree, diploma, or certificate
b: to grant the right to go or concede the completion of the qualifications for going (as from an elementary school) at the end of the course or last grade <many citizens were never graduated from high school>
c: to move up to the next school grade <graduate the boy from the third to the fourth grade>
2–5: (other senses of the word)
That sounds to me more-or-less what the Penrose Academy did for Bristol, whether she earned it or not.
Then the dictionary describes the usage of "graduate" as an intransitive verb:
1 a: to receive from a university, college, or school an academic degree, a diploma, or a certificate denoting fulfillment of requirements leading to it : become a graduate <graduate from the university> <graduate from divinity school> <graduate with honors>
b: to qualify in a particular field or for a particular position …
Both senses, transitive and intransitive, are grammatical. I expect that it will take a while before the former gets marked in the dictionary as "archaic." The Facebook writer described Bristol's experience using the transitive sense of "graduate" (something that in institution does with respect to an individual), rather than the intransitive sense (something that an individual experiences). That was the writer's choice, and it suggests to me that the writer was someone more widely-read than SP.
LOL, Ted. But no one literate would say "has been graduated from."
DeleteLiz, is the dictionary example "many citizens were never graduated from high school" quoted in my original comment not close enough for you?
DeleteI think we've all grasped the notion that "has been graduated" is correct usage. The point is, most people would say, "Bristol has graduated!" or possibly "Bristol graduated tonight!" Not, "has been graduated." If Sarah wrote something correctly, we all know that it was accidental on her part, as she typically appears to be a non-native English speaker.
DeleteDo either of these girls have any actual job? I know they claim Bristol has worked for the dermatologist, but with the amount of time spent away from that job, we all know that's bullTOS. I suspect that the hair school graduate and the skin school graduate will now, having licenses, be paid generously from SarahPAC... so they won't actually have to work.
10:48AM and "Ted:"
DeleteWhy are you so defensive, Bekka?
Admit it, you made Sarah sound like a "moran."
Again.
"How do you explain something like diamonds...."
Sarah ate that shit up, didn't she?
You botched it.
Again.
Flop around on the boat deck, Bekka, and gasp, gasp, gasp for oxygen,
And for the love of God, pour the wine in a glass and stop sucking it out of the box.
Who's Bekka?
DeleteTed Powell has commented here many times before. It's not Becky Mansour.
Delete12:25 PM Rebecca Mansour, Sarah's Lesbian Ghostwriter.
Delete12:25.
DeleteYou.

DeleteTrig is looking at Todd and wondering who is that old woman standing next to him.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the woman who stops by for photo shoots of herself making moose chili?
DeleteTrig appears to ONLY look at Todd in every single picture. He may touch others and slap Sarah around, but Todd is HIS man. I truly believe Todd is his father. His mother was one of the prostitutes IMO.
Delete11:29am
DeleteNo disrespect to Trig, but really, who can tell where he's looking with those crossed eyes?
That's why Sarah wears NON-PRESCRIPTION glasses to hide her WONKY Eye. But she could care less about 'the retarded one'(Sarah's words).
DeleteThere is that pic of Trig and Sarah. Nice to know you conveniently leave things out
DeleteI could be wrong but should Piper wear a skirt on top of her striped spanxs?
ReplyDelete??
DeleteHate to be a spoil sport here, but "has been graduated," "was graduated from" are preferred constructions according to the Associated Press Style Book. But Palin sucks.
ReplyDeleteMaybe....
DeleteBut it makes her sound like an imbecile. Prut.
Docha think?
Yes, it may not be common, but many "literate" folk use graduate this way.
DeleteI "binged" "has been graduated" and pages of folk popped up, all of whom have been graduated from somewhere. On the other hand, all the writers may be old, like me.
In 1963, H. L. Mencken's The American Language told us that the active form had triumphed over the passive form. The American habit of simplifying language led to dropping the words has been (or was) from “has been/was graduated from college.”
I'm not a dinosaur. I say "she graduated from college." What I cannot deal with is "she graduated college." It just sounds so wrong.
11:44,
DeleteDoncha think it makes Sarah sound like an idiot, though?
I disagree. Active voice is preferable to the passive voice. Bristol graduated from Penrose. Students graduate with honors, etc.
DeleteWe’re happy for her to have finished this challenging, rewarding academy;
ReplyDeleteSarah get real, they only met a few days a week for a few months.
Get out there and work, and change the world for the better! - Sarah Palin
ReplyDeleteThat's right, the world needs pimple poppers and shampoo girls to change the world.
That picture looks familiar? Is that an old picture?
ReplyDeleteDr. Mike Cusack's son, Mike Jr., was the one who ran the Alaska Aces into bankruptcy in the early 2000's. He also owned the Northern Lights "Hotel" which basically became a flop house for the Aces and their team groupies before it was condemned and sold as part of his bankruptcy settlement. Mike Jr. used to frequent Vegas and basically gambled away any money the Aces had earned. He was so cheap that he put visiting teams up in the bedbug ridden Northern Lights hotel instead of of finding them decent accommodations. He had a lot of issues, and it sounds like the fruit didn't fall far from the tree. It is well known around Anchorage that Dr. Cusack is not on par with other dermatologists. Nice to finally know which one Bristol worked for, no big surprise there.
ReplyDeleteHis daughter met Bristol at a coffee shop and told her to put in a call for a job. She has said this.
Deletehis staff is great. Doesn't have anythnig to do with him
LOL My favorite review of Dr. Cusack:
ReplyDelete"It's a pain to restart the referral process but I'll go through that hassle rather than deal with someone as arrogant, pompous, and discourteous as this guy. When he left in the middle of an exam for, what turned out to be a lengthy phone call, I left as well. Sure wish I could give half or no stars... "
So... strip mall dermatologist with personality issues who surrounds himself with artificially tan young girls. Hardly sounds skeevy at all!
And he's willing to let the famous daughter of a wealthy, influential family pretend to work there whenever she wants? No way!
Deleteit sounds like he just needs to retire.
DeleteI don't want to rain on Bristol's skin school parade but there is a woman with no legs on DWTS that is doing a better job than Bristol. Plus she hasn't gained weight like Bristol did.
ReplyDeletehttp://youtu.be/7HY5oXSNXWA
Most Pregnant women would not attempt to go on DWTS and wear a Gorilla suit to hide the ballooning body.
DeleteI did not even realize that DWTS was still on the air!
Delete"Bristol has been graduated" is getting Bekka's ass chewed out big time!
ReplyDeleteChew her fat ass out. Sarah, chew her fat ass out!
Bekka would probably enjoy it.
DeleteSo Sarah paid for her family to fly to Arizona and back to Alaska just to see Bristol get a certificate from skin school? Must be nice to be rich.
ReplyDeleteI bet SarahPAC paid for the trip.
DeleteBeaglemom
@11:55 You betcha Sarah's PAC paid for the trip, for everyone. The reason is because Sarah posted it on her facebook along with the political message that it was ok to go to vo-tech. (Is that what they used to call vocational school?) Her political comments justified all of the expense just to be there.
DeleteI wonder how Alaskans vacation to the states to often. You see these 20 yr olds regularly going to hawaii. Do they blow their PFDs or just make more money
DeletePoor Trig
ReplyDeleteEverybody is dressed up except for Trig.
The picture with all those girls, is that the graduation class? That's it?
ReplyDeleteWhat are all the presents? Come one, everyone, show us your gifts.
Deletethats a bigger class than many others in the past in that program. I think the bigger draw is hair.
DeleteIs Todd married to Sarah? I don't see a wedding ring on his finger.
ReplyDeleteC'mon, Gryph. Piper's job will be to keep her mother dressed like an aging teenybopper, and you know it. :)
ReplyDeleteLeave piper alone. she is 13
DeleteSarah wrote "Bristol has been graduated." No way all these sock puppets with all their references come in here to defend another Bekka FUBAR.
ReplyDeleteWhy waste the time and effort unless Sarah feels humiliated?
Again.
I rate this thread "Pure Gold."
Cry, Sarah, cry!
She’s heading back to Alaska soon (because she misses the snow, mountains, and her truck!)
ReplyDeleteAccording to Sarah, her family are hunters, but Sarah didn't say that Bristol missed hunting. She misses her truck? Is that the truck that has the questionable license plate with the name "TRIPP" on it?
BWAHAHAHAHAHA Yes, Bristol misses her Shailey TRIPP License Plates. Where is Junker's baby?
DeleteShe's headed back to AK to face the music in court and admit that she took her son away from his father without consent for 6 months.
DeleteThe last time I saw the Tripp license plates they were on a black Toyota Camry about a year ago here in Wasilla.
Delete~ snowblondie
Wait a second, remember when she went to LA for a couple weeks of DWTS? Wasn't it all about her "driving all that way in her TRUCK herself with a toddler?"
DeleteBut she goes to Penrose where there are Palin houses and she doesn't bring the truck or have a duplicate there?
Wait a minute, don't they allow trucks in Arizona? Note to Sarah. You used that same excuse for Willow wanting to go back to Alaska, too. Allow me to offer a suggestion for you. Since you have a house in Scottsdale, buy a truck and keep it there. Then the poor girls will have something to drive that they won't be ashamed to be seen in. Yeah, I miss my truck.

DeleteBristol didn't graduate. She completed a program and is now certified to do certain tasks in skin care. She can work the makeup counter at Walgreens.
ReplyDeleteBTW: Tawd looks god awful! Is he in poor health?
Doesn't Bristol have to pass a state board exam, or is her level of skin care about the same thing as putting some cream on someone's face?
DeleteAnd, yes, 12:07 is right. All that Bristol did was complete a 6 month course of study.
Why hate?
DeleteSarah shouldn't stand next to her perky breasted daughters because compared to them her tatas are hanging low and look weirdly misplaced.
ReplyDeleteThey are hanging low and are weirdly misplaced. That's what you get when you skimp on the quality of the padding.
DeleteSound it out Sarah - der ma tol ogy. I hope Levi gets custody of hisi son. I finally saw the Celeb. Wife Swap with him on it. Poor kid has no structure or discipline at all.
ReplyDeleteActually, it showed how receptive he is and how mature.
Deleteshe’s ready to be licensed in “all things skin,”
ReplyDeleteWhat? Hope Sarah isn't talking about Bristol is certified to have sex without condoms?
That Sarah is an idiot. Think before you speak.
DeleteI go to Selah Salon and Spa in Wasilla for all things hair and skin. Bristol does not have the certs that my skin tech has and will need to do another year to get those certs. Willow couldn't get a job there after her brief time in hair school. This is a wonderful place, with highly trained staff, which is why neither of the Palin girls were able to get jobs there. Their favorite "salon" the Beehive, is now relegated to a tiny corner of a small industrial building across from the AT&T center on Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.. I think perhaps the girls and their mother thought they could pump up the Beehive with a reality show and then get jobs there, but the Beehive is basically done. Things don't always work out for them as planned.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.selahsalonandspa.com/#!/HOME
lol You do know that they havent been to the beehive in years right?
DeleteThe beehive is done? Youre obviously NOT in Alaska. And why are you trying to ruin innocent business owners reps?
DeleteSarah don't celebrate too early. Bristol may have completed a pimple program which means nothing until she gets her license.
ReplyDeleteWow, six months of school, 3 days a week and they are posing for photos and boasting on the internet. Imagine if someone in that family actually achieved something. For people who complain about stalkers, they put too much information out there.
ReplyDeleteI seem to remember that brown dress Sarah wore in CA the same visit where she and Bethenny Frankel (skinny girl) attended the same event. The resin I remember is bc Sarah and an odd spray-on looking tan which was uneven. The bodice of the dress made her boobs look the same weird they look in the above photo.
ReplyDeletelol. Bristol's discussed her employment there in great detail. his daughter came into a coffee shop she was working in 09 and said there was a job opening. Bristol thanks him for hiring her when she was creating her personal independence. She is at the age where people start living for themselves and supporting themselves. People forget that. Remember Jesse, she didn't take any LA offers that had been thrown at her for some time after getting this job. And honestly, she deserved them for the 08 attacks. It's good she found a place and developed friendships with her coworkers. Coworkers are lifelong friends.
