I thought the episode was very funny, and I liked how Maher closed it out on the issue of Iraq.
Maher compared America's fixation with trying to bring democracy to rogue nations to a woman who always believes she can "fix" a man by smothering him with love.
I was really tired last night for some reason, so I may not have been thinking clearly, which might explain why during the conversations I kept finding myself agreeing with Glenn Greenwald on most of the issues.
I don't really like him, but he really did have a valid point more times than not last night.
And Maher's point that in order for America to do anything about what is going on in Iraq right now we essentially have to choose sides in a religious conflict, is also dead on.
An artificial construct with little hope of long-term stability........as we have learned.....

Civil disobedience comes with a cost, always has. MLK made his fight from a jail cell. If Snowden's convictions are so pure, what's he doing hiding in the country led by Putin, the world aggressor and no friend of freedom?

Did Levi REALLY write he was surprised his gf got pregnant? Did he REALLY write, "what's a teenage boy to do when his gf feels baby pangs and sees everyone around her getting engaged and has a new baby brother?

For one, his initial story told from his LIPS was that he was excited about being a father and marrying her. He may have been scared. THAT would be natural. But 1. it was NO shock. and 2. Discussions went back months, hence why Sarah and Todd were ACTIVE parents and Levi's weren't.
The cowans are low people to do that to Levi. They made him look like an arrogant moron who disapproves of everyone who doesn't hunt or think about hunting 24/7.
They also use him to tell hundreds of lies about innocent people. They plagiarize.
It's just sad how this kid let MORE democrats manipulate him.

So added to his horrible memory, he's just stupid.
