Ammosexual shoots 17 year old girl after she confronts him about driving his riding lawnmower over her property.

Courtesy of the Times Colonist:

A northern Minnesota man was charged Wednesday with shooting a 17-year-old girl several times after authorities say she told him not to ride his lawn mower through her yard.

Chad Pickering, 40, of Bemidji appeared in Beltrami County court on a felony charge of attempted first-degree murder. Bail was set at $300,000.

Pickering shot the teen three times as she stood on the deck of her home Monday night, the criminal complaint said. The teen was shot in her chest, right thigh and left ankle. She was taken to a Duluth hospital.

Police found .45 shells by a tree on the young woman's property, and when police searched his home and found a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol hidden in an air vent, Pickering claimed that he had not seen in in a week or so.

The police then pointed out a grass stain on Pickering's knee, and his excuse for that was equally lame.

Finally.....

When authorities pointed out inconsistencies in his statement, Pickering said he had taken his children for a ride with the mower and that after he returned home a girl came to the front door and confronted him about trespassing, the complaint said. Pickering told investigators he went to her house, knelt by a pine tree and shot her twice after she came out the front door, according to the complaint.

To be clear this 40 year old man went to the house of a teenaged girl, shot her three times, and lied to the police about what he had done, all becasue she asked him to stop driving his lawnmower through her yard.

And that my friends is how the 2nd Amendment keeps us safe.

And he is a "good Christian" as well. I googled the T-shirt he is wearing. Called to Duty and the T in Duty is a cross. Next line is Ultimate Sacrifice. The small lines in orange is John 15:13, Greater love has no man etc.... And you can't make it out but there is a picture on it as well of Jesus being crucified on Mt. Calvary. So as a follower of Jesus he was following the part in scripture that I must have missed about trying to blow away any female who dares question someone as macho as you are. That is how I look at it. A woman dared to confront him and his response was to hide behind a tree and shoot her. What a "Real Man"!

What caliper would Jesus choose to shoot a 17 year old girl for chiding him for tresspassing?

Unreal. I wonder if he has anger management problems that have previously been revealed. Nobody is this vile without a history.

hedgwytch, good observation. I wonder if Palin is dealing with the same complaints about her behavior that Nugent is receiving and this is what generated the rant about being passed over for appearances. No doubt she would simply toss it off as someone else’s problem. The woman is entirely without self refection.

Oh, but if Beldar J Conehead advocates for personal bazooka ownership everybody gets all....

    Nevermind. I got nothing.

Clearly, we're living in an unprecedented post-satire era where nothing is too outrageous to be real.

Still, I'm pretty darnn sure Gryphen is not his real name.

ps, as most of you have guessed the middle initial J is for Jehoshaphat.

    Or... is it?

So he fucking ambushed her?!? Jesus H. Christ, this assclown is beyond insane. Oh well, just another "terrible accident," eh Ernst?

How The NRA Is Trying To Clean Up Its Bizarre Mandatory Gun Training For Kids Proposal

Johnson's suggestion children would have to become proficient with a gun to move on in school was widely ridiculed. Now the NRA is responding to critics with the misleading suggestion that Johnson was merely talking about the importance of teaching children gun safety.

When his trial is held, I hope after the jury hears all of the information about what he did, it will convict him, and the judge will give him a long sentence he can use to reflect upon what a stupid ass he is. His problem appears to be that he didn't want this young girl telling him what he could/couldn't do. If he's convicted and sentenced, he'll have prison guards telling him 24/7/365 what he can/cannot do, including when he can wipe his behind. I'm going to follow this case closely to see if he uses SYG as a defense and claims that he was "afraid" of an unarmed 17 year old kid who was standing on her own property.

Glad that doctor had a weapon on him so he could stop the nutcase before he could kill more. Good guy with gun stops bad guy with gun.

  13. He nearly killed her for fussing at him about trespassing. The poor girl was supposed to die leaving no witnesses, and his crime would have been perfect. Except she lived and he forgot to pick up his .45 shells from the tree by her house, the psycho.

Hhhmmm. Those guys have HUGE BALLS! You just know that most of the calls they receive are going to be from the violent right and the screaming will be audible from ten feet away - even through the ear piece.

  15. Well, good luck in prison without your guns, Chad, when your 250 lb. muscle-gorilla cellmate decides you've got the cutest little tight ass he's ever seen. You're about to be the very bitch your own stupidity has made you.

"The Atheist Experience" is a live call-in show that airs every Sunday on a local Austin, TX public access channel. The folks who host and co-host the show are mostly members of the Atheist Community of Austin. Audio and video recordings are posted on the internet for free viewing/listening after each show.

The hosts are quite experienced with callers, and callers are screened, anyway. They actually welcome believers call and try to get at the callers to focus on the "evidence" that they have to try to convince them (the hosts) to believe. They always ask believers to explain "why" they believe. Some of the hosts have participated debates with well-know Christian apologists, and one has (I think) debated a Muslim apologist. They also take calls, of course, from atheists, agnostics, and those "on the fence".

If this is going to be that same show, then I am really happy that the Atheist Community of Austin is getting this exposure, as they have been providing this programming for free, on their own time, paying for the studio time themselves (maybe they use membership dues to help out?)

What a macho man, he stalked her down and shot her three times because property laws don't apply to him, I hope the judge throws the book at him and places his kids with someone good, preferably not related at all to this nutcase. I'm starting to think this shit is hereditary.

We had an incident in our area today, a psych doctor shot and killed a psych patient he's been treating after the patient killed his social worker and shot at the doctor. There's two opinions, the "Good guy with the gun stopped the bad guy with the gun" and the fact that doctors take an oath "First do no harm". I'm kind of torn with this one, Yeah, the guy was crazy and he killed one and tried to kill others, but it speaks volumes of the quality of care for the mentally ill. And why a doctor who takes an oath to do no harm, shoots to kill. To me, there are no good nor bad guys in this instance.

I agree with you completely. Somehow doctors with guns just doesn't seem right to me. Surely there was a way to intervene some other way.

The doctor wouldn't even have been able to respond effectively if the patient had confronted him with the gun first. It's not doctors with guns that doesn't seem right - it's people with known mental health issues being able to get hold of them, and doctors thinking that an appropriate response (or preparation) is to have guns of their own. That's simply ludicrous.

  18. I believe the relevant POINT here is that the "bad guy", having a lengthy history of extreme mental illness and violence...never should have been able to GET a gun. When someone who has threatened people with firearms can go into a gun show and buy whatever he wants...that's a problem.

Yup, the point is that the good doctor had a gun on him to stop the bad guy, otherwise he and likely many others would be dead. Awesome story. Good guy with gun stops bad guy with gun.
