Conservative radio host Glenn Beck is charging President Barack Obama with hyping up talks of impeachment as a way to win the “PR battle.”
“The birther thing is over, the black thing is over, so now … he needs to be able to call for justice,” Beck said during his show on Monday.
“Do you think anyone in Washington in the GOP is serious about impeachment?” Beck continued. “Do you think one person? Have you spoken to one person? Not one. So who wants it? The president does. Because then he’ll be able to say, ‘I demand justice.’”
“I have to tell you, I’m gravely concerned because I don’t think we’re going to win this immigration battle, I really don’t,” Beck said on Monday. “I think it’s going to go the way it always does because they’re going to win the PR battle and the president is going to change the subject and he’s going to make it about impeachment.”
Well that's interesting. Especially since I kind of agree that the President, AND the Democrats, really want the Republicans to pursue this because it does nothing but help them in the upcoming elections.
After all the Republicans impeached Clinton, and now he is the most popular ex-President we have.
And let's say the Republicans forced Obama out of office. What would we have then?
President Jo Biden and his new VP Hillary Clinton.
Hard to imagine that the GOP would consider that a win. Especially since it would make President Obama more popular than ever and ensure that any books he wrote of speaking engagements he participated in would result in piles of cash for his family.
So if the ONLY person who really wants the Republicans to push for impeachment is President Obama, who is Sarah Palin working for again?
And speaking of Palin, she was recently confronted about the impeachment issue by Michael Medved.

Yesterday, Michael Medved interviewed Sarah Palin on his radio talk show and asked “how is it vaguely possible” for impeachment to succeed, when it would take a minimum of 12 democrats in the Senate to vote against the President. That, mind you, is if the Republicans gained an unlikely 10 seats in the Senate giving them a total of 55 seats. It would require a vote of 67 senators for impeachment to be successful.
Ms. Palin in her infinite wisdom responds:
"As more Americans open their eyes to this lawless presidency… the more the will of the people will be exercised and will be made manifest by pressure put on the Democrats."
Yep folks, those are the pearls of wisdom that Palin is now charging $9.95 a month to impart.
Update: It looks like John Boehner agrees with Beck:
“We have no plans to impeach the president. We have no future plans,” Boehner said in response to a reporter’s question.
He noted that it was the Democrats themselves who have been raising the notion of a Republican impeachment effort, using it to incite liberal voters and win campaign contributions for Democratic candidates running for re-election to Congress in November.
“It’s all a scam started by Democrats,” Boehner said.

Why do I say this? There is an e-mail from the SOA, Benefits Div., dated May 21, 2008, and "ADDRESSED" to ~Gov. Palin asking for her new child's birth certificate. They needed it to pay additional claims after Trig's birth.

After all his parents planted that fake birth announcement in that Hawaiian newspaper when he was born in Kenya (Oily Taitz has the original of that Kenyan birth certificate, I think). DeleteWe'll have to see what goes on between now and mid-September when all those Republican members of Congress face the rabid ODS sufferers in their districts for 'Town Hall Meetings'. We'll be seeing daily videos on TV of crowds, signs, and chants demanding impeachment.
Whether the votes needed to convict are there or not, those members of Congress will be forced to push 'the will of the people' (their people) on the floor of Congress this fall. Even if a bill never makes it past the floor it will be more than obvious the extent of the ODS epidemic - which will be an immense help for Dems' fund raising, registration, and turnout between now and November.
Maybe this ODS epidemic, and what it will ultimately lead to, is their vengeful God at work too.

Sarah started her own tv channel so she wouldn't have the filter of the "lamestream" media. But the people who are really filtering her are the Republicans. This started in 2011, when she teased everyone but didn't run for president. What a distraction. Then, she wasn't invited to the 2012 Republican convention. She didn't give her news to Fox. Instead, she announced things on the Mark Levin show or posted an op ed on Breitbart. Fox probably told her what to say and what not to say, but Sarah doesn't like to be told what to do. No wonder they cut her contract and her appearances back, way back this year. More filters? Sarah has very few public speaking events (and she probably calls and demands to be invited). Showing up at a county tea party event in some rural location is not the same thing as a dance card filled with $100,000. speeches. Yes, she is being filtered because what she says and does is so humiliating to the party that picked her as a VP nominee. Thanks alot for nothing.

ReplyDeleteThis just highlights the degree to which Republicans believe that voters will believe anything they say, if they just say it long and loud enough. They've been talking about impeaching Obama since the day he took office, and after getting a taste for blood with Clinton, and idiot must have know that the pressure from the right to impeach any Democratic President would be immense. But let the White House make a couple of remarks about this malicious phenomenon, and out of nowhere, Republicans all over the country are claiming it was Obama's idea.
I predicted this long ago, and I'll give you another prediction for free: As things stand now, every Democratic President is going to be impeached or come within inches of impeachment, into the foreseeable future.
In that case, the gop/YPers will be as unproductive as they have been the last few years. I do not see ONE single repub. who has what it takes to be president. The ONLY way a repub. would make it into the WH is with the dirty tricks used to put sock puppet W in office.
