Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Gotta get this bumper sticker.
I once replied to somebody asking if I was born again with "No my mom did it right the first time."
I love it! The born again premise is such a racket. Accept Jesus H. Christ as your savior, and BINGO - you get to feel sooooo special and superior to your UNsaved crowd, with no further effort required on your lazyass, credulous, hypocritical part, as I suspect Bristol at 3:45 knows what I'm talking about.
Professional bible-thumpers like vindictive dumbass Bristol and her savage mother are the exact opposite of their supposed savior, who preached to turn the other cheek, AND to pray in private and keep it between you and him, not use it to impress others with your piousness.
Since there's no historical evidence for Jesus anyway, the piousness really is even more absurd. And anyone who sports that bumper sticker is taking a big chance on a Christian keying on the side of their car. That's how Christians of the Palin school roll.
I like your answer better, Gryphen! Come to think of it: I thought Christians don't believe in reincarnation? Isn't the 'born again' mantra implying that they were reincarnated (supposedly as better than before)?
Christians don't believe in reincarnation (some individuals might be open to the possibility but no official Christian sect is).."Born again" in this context means accepting Jesus Christ as your savior, hence you are "born again" spiritually. Nothing to do with past lives.
So stealing this! LOL

stupid
ReplyDeleteIn my book it is even more stupid to believe in a religion or superstition - which I equate.
DeleteLove this! I have a bumper sticker that says "Born Again Pagan".
