One year ago George Zimmerman thought he got of scott free for murder, today he is jobless, millions in debt, and essentially destitute.

Somehow I doubt he is laughing now.
Courtesy of the Orlando Sentinel:

George Zimmerman has no job, no home, no income but spends $100 a month on vacations and $200 a month on psychological counseling, according to a financial affidavit he recently filed in his divorce case.

According to it, he spends $3,304 a month, despite having no income.

He listed his total assets at $14,000 – most of that is his 2008 Honda pickup. His debts total $2.5 million, most of that is money he owes criminal defense attorneys Mark O'Mara and Don West.

According to his paperwork, Zimmerman has no job, pays nothing for rent or a mortgage and has no health insurance.

He spends $350 a month for medical care plus $200 a month for psychological, psychiatric or mental health counseling.

He also spends $100 a month on vacations, he wrote.

Zimmerman's legal defense fund, which raised more than $400,000, now has a balance of $300, according to the affidavit.

It is not clear what happened to any money he earned from the sale of a painting on eBay in December. The winning bid was $100,000. There is no mention of it in his affidavit.

His banking account has $650, he reported.

In an interview last month, Zimmerman's brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr., said the former Neighborhood Watch volunteer is homeless and moves from place to place, sleeping in the homes of friends and supporters.

Gee I guess it really does not pay to kill an innocent teenager. Even if you DO initially get away with it.

By the way is this guy sharing the same accountant as SarahPAC? Nothing seems to add up as to how he supports himself.

If there was such a place as hell, he'll find lodging there. Six feet under ground is a great place for him.

he is 'sleeping in the homes of friends and supporters.' It's astonishing he has any friends/supporters.

What happened to his father who was so quick to arrive on the scene of the crime and meddle with the evidence.

He was homeless before he murdered the boy too. His parents had written him off until he put the family name in the news. He's always been a loser. He's always been a racist. He used to cruise the streets looking for people to beat up. He refused to admit to his latino and black heritage and considered himself white. He's a mental case just waiting to blow again.

100 bucks a month? Why do I get the feeling that he "vacations" at the corner liquor store?

That's the way the cookie crumbles for this low life murderer. Hope you're enjoying your "freedom", Zim. Trigger finger still a little itchy, why don't you try it on yourself. Not so tough anymore are you killer.

George, you were told to get in your vehicle and stay put. You didn't. You took it upon yourself to murder an unarmed teenager.

While a Florida court failed at their duties, the court of public opinion is taking up the slack, you murdering, lazy, misogynist wimp. Smack another woman, fool and you will get some jail time. Hopefully the life sentence you deserve, in six weeks or less, you moronic coward.

Agreed, George, you are fat, ugly and stupid, but you'll have fans amongst the drop the soap crowd. While I abhor prison violence, as the inmates should not be in charge of the institution, it's different with you. You thought your little neighborhood watch gig was a license to kill.

That was wrong, but sometimes wrong deserves to meet wrong. Enjoy prison, as the streets of Florida will be better without you.

I don't need to comment because you said it all.

I have no doubt that he will someday end up in prison because he truly believes the rules do not apply to him.

A few years from now Pudgy will be jailed for robbery while stealing his sports memorabilia. Or something along those lines. These things have a way of taking care of themselves. My inklings tell me Pudgy boy will take a wrong turn down a dead-end road and meet his fate......

    GEORGE ZIMMERMAN FOUND DEAD

(AP) A "homeless" man George Zimmerman 30, of Sanford FL found dead with 30 rounds of bullets riddled in his body, at this time there are no suspects. Mr. Zimmerman leaves behind "$14,000." in assets.

Yeah, I suspect this is BS and he's hiding assets. Because he's scummy and that's what scummy people do.

His former wife already plead guilty to perjury when she lied in court about their finances just prior to his trial.

No doubt he was involved in attempting to cover up the amount of money they had raised from idiots who sent in donations to his defense fund.

As I recall GZ was not a member of the local Neighborhood Watch group. They had a pretty good idea of the kind of person he was and did not want him to participate. He was a lone vigilante who, unfortunately, was armed and crazy.

this is true - but, because he was good friends with members of the the police dept, the rumor was spread that he was the real deal. He failed to become a member of the police dept. He failed the psychological exams. It's pretty hard to fail a police exam. Most of the time people ACE them because they are fairly simply. The people that get high marks are not chosen either. High mark people tend to think for themselves and don't always follow orders when they are stupid.

No one id going to like me.
I think George got off scott free. IF he would have been black and is victim white he would have been convicted.
But I am an "old school" minority. Now many of you may wonder what that means. BUt us "old style" minorities" are happy with whatever sentence he got.
You can call me a "sellout" or anything else, but the one thing I an tell you is he was convicted.

I agree, two types of justice, especially in Fla and down south. He probably has times when he wished he HAD been found guilty. The life he is "living" is not much of a life now, is it? The lawyers who jumped in to defend him deserve to lose their fees. They did it for name recognition, and now they have it.

Didn't Pretty Boi Sean Hannity donate generously to his defense fund? Perhaps that's where George spends some of his time?
At any rate, you do make a valid comparison with George and Sarah's accountants. Time will tell who wins playing Russian Roulette with the wheel of Karma?
Don't give up, George, Jodi Arias may get the same type of jury and the two of you can ride off into the sunset with beer cans tied to your precious honda.

Arias has already been convicted. The jury deadlocked on her punishment. Her next jury will decide if she gets the needle or not. That's all. She'll never see the light of day, thank dog.

Let's face reality, if George Zimmerman had shot my tall, blue eyed white husband he would be walking around. If my tall blue eyed husband had shot George Zimmerman the national news would never have heard of him.

As a Floridian I followed this case closely. Wasn't happy with many aspects about it.

I remember once writing on some thread that if GZ would just confess, just tell the truth, everything would be better for him. Sure, jail is no fun, but I bet he could have gotten a good plea deal and the sooner he had done that, the less the lawyer's fees would have been.

In some ways I feel sorry for him, but in others ways I do not. He went for "I'm completely innocent" when he knows full well his own complicity in what happened.

The jury did not know the truth because GZ never told them the complete truth of what happened that night. The only two people who know really know what happened are GZ and Trayvon Martin.

And dead men tell no tales.

How much less would GZ's lawyer fees have been if he had just right from the beginning have taken an uncontested involuntary manslaughter charge? I bet even a FL Public Defender (Free! No lawyer fees!) could have gotten him a greatly greatly reduced sentence.

I think GZ would have been better off now had he told the truth right away, paid his penance, and begun healing.

I watched a lot of it, when his lawyer got the judge to allow him to bring a huge chunk of concrete and the out of proportion cutouts of GZ and TM, with TM a giant, muscular body builder and GZ a short, pudgy guy with no muscle tone, I thought the judge lost her marbles. They were implying TM attacked GZ first with concrete, and GZ was "protecting himself" from Goliath by standing his ground.
The only people I wish healing for are the Martin Family.

Just saw on This Week a report about the trial a year later and a main focus was on Rachel Jenteel. After her first difficult testimony, one of the lawyer team began to help her, down to teaching her to read better - and he didn't stop after the trial. He encouraged Jenteel to change schools, was apparently (in her words) very demanding that she improve and she just recently graduated high school (I believe that's more than Bristol did, yes?)

I have to think Trayvon would be very proud of her. Hearing her speak on the TV program today, she has come along way, baby!

I seriously doubt he is homeless. If he is, he should be reported as a loiterer in any gated community and dealt with effectively by the Neighborhood Watch. :P

But he's still lying about money to hide it from his wife. I hope it's found and the judge slaps him big time.
