Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Gotta love the bible belt.
Now this is somebody who is desperate to get her message across.
So desperate that more than a dozen bumper stickers were simply not sufficient in explaining that we are all going to Hell.
Best religious bumper sticker I ever saw was on a car with a Wisconsin plate." PLEASE Lord, protect me from your followers" How very appropriate that is even now. So many nutcases, so little sense.Used to be that you would be pulled over when it was impossible to see traffic through your back window. Maybe the police were afraid to pull this nut over. Seems religion and weapons go hand in hand these days.
Well, yeah. It is a GOD GIVEN RIGHT to carry as much firepower as you can. Don't you read the Bible? And on the sixth day God created AK-47s. Don't you remember where Jesus says that if someone strikes you on your right cheek, you pump them full of lead?
Of course it is. And it took God only, let's see, about 5,500 years (according to their calculations) to get around to inventing guns. Come on, get on the stick, Almighty!!
Probably one of my husbands ( don't worry he escaped decades ago) God loving/fearing racist bigoted relatives that also belongs to the KKK but they would never have a vehicle that new.
And totally OT I did the 23AndMe DNA tests on both my husband and I and found out he is 6.2% sub Saharan African ( that means he is BLACK) and I made sure his one normal cousin got the results. It's been just about a yr and while that news is going around it has been met with disbelief and hatred, I guess because they can't understand that they are actually what they hate. :)
There are places where you can drive a vehicle with the back window covered? Tennessee plates. At least this crackpot is far away from me. I'd be leery of them merging on the freeway or changing lanes. Can they see well anything out of the rear of their car? I also wonder if they have their rear side windows covered with religious graffiti? One vehicle I'd not want when Jeebus raptures them up. (I'm kidding about the rapture, serious about the vehicle).
Well, that van is from the Bible Belt. However, here in the Seattle area, we have at least ONE car that is covered like this one. Even the license plate says REPENT... (Didn't know that proselytizing like that was legal in WA state...)
I'm in Seattle too and I have seen a van covered (I mean totally covered) with this same kind of stuff. All I thought was... should someone that mentally ill be driving?
You think this driver's cuckoo? The one behind him flipping bible pages so they can read it for themselves in context could cause an accident. It's a race to the finish, whoever dies with more bumper stickers wins!!!

DeleteWith God as your co-pilot you don't need to see out your back window ;-)

In my town she'd be made to wash that window. She has a couple of good bumper stickers though.

ReplyDeleteI wonder how old that van had to get before it wasn't too good to deface even for Jesus?
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was: how did this person lay hands (pun intended) on my 2001 Dodge Caravan? It was parked in front of my house this afternoon!
DeleteThat's how old.
