On August 7, Nugent took to his Facebook page to hype his "Rib-Off" appearance, but also to argue that American Indians upset about land being taken from them by white settlers need to learn about the American Dream.
Nugent wrote, "WE ARE ON OUR JET NOW HEADING FOR TOLEDO RIBFEST JAM AFTER AN INSANE INCREDIBLE OUT OF BODY ULTRAROCKOUT at the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis SD! Simply astonishing gig! 4 stinkyass unclean dipshit protestors that admitted they hate me AND ALL WHITE PEOPLE THAT STOLE THEIR LAND BULLSHIT!! See, it aint me they hate, they hate all Americans that produce & live the American Dream. Simply insane!"
The protestors that Nugent attacked as "stinkyass unclean dipshit[s]" were reportedly from the United Urban Warrior Society in Rapid City, SD.
Nugent made other inflammatory comments in the discussion thread on his Facebook post. One fan wrote that "Maybe the natives shoulda had better weapons ..." to which Nugent responded, "less peyote less whoopin & hollerin."
Nugent also had some nasty things to say about the Mexicans, because you know he is so NOT a racist.
I swear it is almost like Nugent is trying to destroy what is left of his career.
But hey, maybe Sarah Palin will broadcast some of his music from her
Then at least he would know that at least a dozen like minded people would hear him play.
Nugent is just solidifying his creds with the last cluster of racist inbred imbeciles who'll pay to hear his mediocre spew. I don't think he really has much left to lose, frankly.
ReplyDeleteBut you've got to admire (well, no you don't actually) his feeble American education system grasp on what happened. He clearly wants to think that all the land was "won fair & Square" in battle, not through trickery, deception, coercion, propaganda and biological warfare.
Unless, of course, he thinks those things are "American values", 'cause that actually wouldn't surprise me.
Hey Boscoe! You forgot murder and genocide and teaching them how to scalp as proof for the bounty and....
Deletestinkyass unclean dipshit
ReplyDeleteYou know, if I had just read these three words totally out of context, the first words that would pop in my head would be "Ted Nugent".
DeleteExactly. Does he also too perhaps there realize that American Indians serve in one of the largest numbers of an ethnic group in the armed forces? The Indians serve this country, hint and honor their food sources, he loses in the pissing match.
DeleteGoogle "Ted Nugent" and "Poopypants" pops up!!! Poopy pant$ Patriot!
DeleteLo$er.
Figure he is a friend to Ms. Grifter.
Why is this garbage still around? Didn't he promise to kill himself if Pres. Obama was re-elected? So he can add liar to his resume.
ReplyDeleteRacists, tightening up his ties with other racists. Sarah Palins pal and yet, according to Ted her children( the ones with Tawd, not the ones with Curtis are stinkyass( wasn't that Ted when he avoided the draft?) unclean, dipshit and let's not forget vermin.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, there is Sarah Palin, not caring about anything but the $$$ she can grift otherwise she'd be in an uproar about this retarded guy( I bet she bites on that and not the racism)
It he's mocking "Indians", he should be wearing a turbin and riding an elephant. What he's doing to mock natives of the world is sick enough. He's a carbon copy of Sarah, two turds floating the toilet bowl, not realizing what everyone else knows..... they're both headed for the same place.
ReplyDeleteAs if "Draft Dodger McPoopy Pants" has any right to call anyone else a "stinky ass". Geez, what is it about projection and the right wing nut jobs?
ReplyDeleteHow ironic the pedophile rapist should choose to use the words unclean and shit, given how he dodged the draft.
ReplyDeleteSuch a patriotic American.
Well, a patriotic son of immigrants given that he is NOT native to this country.
I heard Ted is making a new video game called "Call to Duty: Poop your pants and run like a Nugent"
ReplyDeleteCall to Doody?
Delete"Call to Duty: Poop your pants and run like a Nugent"

OMFG! That was too great not to tweet! TY :)
My new motto: You have the right to anonymously trash people on blogs. But others have the equal right to call you out on being an asshole.
ReplyDeleteTo every trash talking busybody who lives in ignorance
"Busybody?" LOL. Are you from the 50’s?
DeleteAwww, you likey racist and misogynist Teddy poopy pants draft dodger? So sowwy to hurt your widdle fee-fees, but really, sane people realize that this man is a draft-dodging, racist, misogynistic and underage-girl humping piece of shit. What, do you not have the Google on your 1995 Windows machine? How can you ignore the absolute malfeasance and utter lack of character that this man exhibits?
Delete7:26 PM There you go again, Trollie, you against everybody. Don't you wonder why you are so lonely?
DeleteAnonymous troll says what?
DeleteYou called me out? Or him? Or that other person? Which one of us are you teaching a lesson troll? Take the Palin gals to the shed if you are trying to teach manners. None of us make money off of being assholes like them.
Delete"To every trash talking busybody who lives in ignorance"
DeleteI guess that leaves all of us at IM out of your little rant. WE are not ignorant of the crap SP pulls, nor are we ignorant of the lying shit (pun intended) that Shitty Pants spouts. Nor are we ignorant of the lies told by the repubes (just for your ignorant mind, that is pronounced repyoobes; based on the hairs around a person's crotch, you know?) try to foist onto the American people. Nor are we STUPID enough to actually try your shit on a site the DOES know all that stuff!
Oh! And so you know? Most people with ANY sort of education end a sentence with a PERIOD. And that is not the bleeding kind of period, either.
Anonymous7:26 PM
Delete****
So like Anon at 7:26 can we call you troll or do you have a name? Oh riiiiight you have SEVERAL names doncha? who wants to be anon and defend the queen? Or IS the flippin' queen?
You picked the wrong post (but then you always do) to whine about people saying truthful things about an awful, hateful person.
DeleteThat you apparently support other people besides Palin who are nasty, bigoted, America hating, angry, untalented, ignorant jackasses speaks volumes about you.
"To every trash talking busybody who lives in ignorance"

take it to Brissies "blog" or beerfart. Plenty of hate there.
Troll notice you're anonymous? B/c you're a "trash talking busybody"????Fuck OFF!
Please take Dickhead Cheney hunting with you.
ReplyDeleteok, new levels of disgust for this poor excuse of a human. I am orginally from Rapid City, South Dakota, my ancestors were Norwegian homesteaders and the one thing that I know to be true is the Ogala Sioux are wonderful, giving people. They were my playmates, my friends, You don't go into Indian country and dis the natives. Why in the hell is this POS still getting gigs?
ReplyDeleteI think that might be part of his recently non-step nastiness. He *isn't* getting gigs, he is losing them right and left.
DeleteLike Palin, he figures if he stamps his feet and displays his angry, nasty, tantrum throwing toddler self and doubles down on his insulting nastiness, he will someone come out on top and show all those people who dared to tell him no.
Nugent has been spreading this garbage for years. He's not going anywhere. The NRA loves him and there are just enough bigots out there to allow him to make money on hate.
ReplyDeleteWhen is Sarah Palin going to address Ted's derogatory comments about Native Americans? Have Todd and his daughters left their heritage behind? Track and Piper are Menards.
ReplyDeleteI just ran across this article, Gryphen, and found it fascinating and a little bit eye opening. The more things change, the more they stay the same, as they say.
ReplyDelete'There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”'
Newsweek: “A Cult of Ignorance” by Isaac Asimov, January 21, 1980, p. 19.
http://aphelis.net/cult-ignorance-isaac-asimov-1980/
Good find. Unfortunately, timeless.
DeleteI'm not surprised.
DeleteIsaac Asimov was a genius and gifted futurist. He was mostly dismissed because he wrote Science Fiction at a time when doing so wasn't respected.
Sorry, miauppa, but he was NOT "mostly dismissed"! He either wrote (many) or edited over 500 books, MANY of which were highly regarded text books and general science books. He was a professor of biochemistry at Boston University as well and highly regarded in far more areas than science fiction! He even wrote some highly regarded books that fell into NINE of the TEN Dewey Decimal system categories!
DeleteThe man was brilliant - and recognized as such.
Thanks for that.
DeleteI'm going to read the PDF. Should be interesting.
I'll bet the rise of ignorance can be traced back to the rise of the religious right?
Leland. Let me clarify. He was respected and revered as a genius by his readers, by educators, scholars and scientists.
DeleteBut those that make public policy, like politicians and the news media? He was a "science fiction writer". Since science fiction literature was barely considered literature at the time, having just come out of the pulp era that most of the dinosaurs in government read as a child, he wasn't that influential as far as public policy goes.
To Dick Cavet he may have been a respected scientist but to Johnny Carson he was a science fiction pulp writer.
Personally I am still disappointed the writer's strike put an end to Probe. I really think it had potential and would have reached a larger audience that might not have been exposed to his books. If it had had a chance, it might have been another Star Trek as far as it's influence went.
I actually have a personal typed and signed postcard from him in reply to a request for a third Elijah Baley book. He explained why there would never be one. Then a decade later wrote the third, The Robots of Dawn.
"If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them." - Isaac Asimov
"The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom."
"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent"
He called himself a "Humanist" instead of an "Athiest".
He was highly regarded by many, but IMO not by those that "counted", those that could have made a difference by actually implementing the change needed.
But then H.G. Wells warned us too, and instead of avoiding Big Brother, we're implementing it.
Fine words coming from a man who sat in poop in order to avoid service to his country. Yes, Ted is a coward; always has been and always will be. He is like the school yard bully who talks a big game but runs at the first sign of trouble.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt that this is having an impact on his bookings. As well it should. Ted has only himself to blame for his current situation.
How long ago was it that Nugent went on CNN and promised not to call anyone names ever again?
ReplyDeleteYou're kidding. He said that?
DeleteHe probably figured no one was watching.
Has anyone else noticed that the drum-art is a grenade wrapped in a pink breast cancer ribbon. What is up with that?!!?
ReplyDeleteHaving second thoughts?
ReplyDeletehttp://splcenter.org/blog/2014/08/07/south-dakota-saloon-regrets-hosting-racist-rocker-ted-nugent/#more-17530
one word: nugent=whitetrash
ReplyDeleteNugent's a moron. If the Native Americans hadn't been decimated from the very first contact they had with Europeans, the Europeans would have had a much, much harder time getting a foot hold on this continent.
ReplyDeleteHe is his own worst enemy and is too dumb to realize it.
