A man practicing his open carry right was robbed of the gun he was openly carrying.
William Coleman III was robbed of his Walter- brand P22 just after 2:00 a.m. October 4 in Gresham by a young man who asked him for it — and flashed his own weapon as persuasion.
Coleman, 21, was talking to his cousin in the 17200 block of NE Glisan St., after purchasing the handgun earlier that day, when a young man asked him for a cigarette, police said.
The man then asked about the gun, pulled a gun from his own waistband and said “”I like your gun. Give it to me.”
Coleman handed over the gun and the man fled on foot.
Boy color me confused.
I keep hearing that murder, robbery, home invasion, and I'm pretty sure, premature ejaculation, can all be magically stopped if we simply buy a gun.
And yet this guy was totally robbed just like some unarmed non-patriot.
Is it because he had the wrong kind of gun? Is there a brand on the market that will offer more protection, and possibly with more loyalty so that it won't suddenly switch sides and decide to go with the bad guy?
You know the NRA makes all of this sound so simple.
Oregon isn't a stand your ground state. Portland's east side is huge for gangs. This doesn't surprise me one bit. There's even one neighborhood here nicknamed "Felony Flats."
ReplyDeleteIt just shows that the ammosexuals are wusses. They use the image of the gun to intimidate, but are actually lilly-livered, yellow-bellied cowards.

ReplyDeleteGun bullies everywhere are rejoicing that Kroger managers are irresponsibly choosing not to protect customers from heavily-armed, “out and proud” ammosexuals.
Moms Demand Action attempted to present a Kroger manager in Ohio with a petition asking that the store adopt sensible gun regulations to keep shoppers — many of whom, of course, are women and children — safe from those who feel it is in some way a good idea to carry loaded AK-47s and other heavy weapons around to protect against the tyranny of the cereal aisle. The manager, however, refused the petition — something that was heartily celebrated by the National Rifle Association.
In celebration of this incredibly moronic turn of events and in celebration of a “basic human right” to blasturbate all over the aisles of a grocery store, open carry supporters invaded Moms Demand Action’s Facebook page to let them know how they felt.

I am a regular Kroger shopper, and also own shares of Kroger stock. Believe me, if this starts happening at my local Kroger's, they will be hearing from me. I will. not. tolerate. shopping. in. a. store. with. ammosexuals.
DeleteIt's the exact same reaction I would have if I had small children, and knew that a store was deliberately luring pedophiles to the store. Nuh-uh, buster: don't even think to try experimenting with those policies on me and my family!!!
It's all sunshine and roses when you're just intimidating librulz in Chipotle, but things are different when you're openly displaying your valuables in the REAL world. Stupid redneck motherfucker might as well have had a $500 bill hanging out of his pants.
ReplyDelete2 am.
DeleteI once had a dead body on my front lawn. Heard the shots around 4 am. Shot in the back. I call it a suicide. White guy was walking around with money at 4 am looking to buy drugs. What did you expect?
There is a certain time (and neighborhood) that is ripe for crime. Being at the place at that time you are just asking for it.
Can't wait for the police to show up at his door about his gun committing a crime. That is, *IF* it was even registered.
Bwahahaha!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's why I open carry and my wife conceal carries. If something like this ever happened, I hand over my gun, he takes off, my wife shoots him down. It's always smart to fly with a wingman.
