Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) came to the defense of his former running mate, Sarah Palin, on Friday, more than a month after she and her family were involved in a drunken, bloody altercation at a house party in Alaska.
During an interview with Phoenix television station KTVK, the 2008 Republican presidential nominee said he wasn't excusing the brawl but went on to blast the media's coverage of it.
"I think these family affairs are -- I don't know much of the details about it," McCain told the TV station. "Things happen in people's families and I'm not excusing it, I'm not condemning it."
"I just know that the kind of coverage that this got, in my view, is in keeping with the kind of coverage the liberals have accorded to Sarah Palin for a number of years, which in my view, is biased and unfair and sometimes unacceptable," McCain told KTVK.
Actually I agree with McCain that this coverage is in keeping with how the media has covered up for this lying grifter and her family. If they had ever done their jobs properly she would have disappeared from the public eye years ago.
And speaking of doing their jobs properly I think that every time John McCain is questioned by reporters, the very first question that he should be asked is why he hates America so much that he cursed it with this vile woman and her clan of hillbilly misfits. Followed up with the question of how he can look himself in the mirror to shave without cutting his own throat.

No woman experiencing labor pains and leaking amniotic fluid would go on to deliver a speech, fly for 12 hours, drive an additional hour to "give birth"in a small town hospital which is not equipped for that kind of delivery. Mat-Su is not equipped for deliveries of special needs children. The mother is transferred to Anchorage where there are neonatal facilities. That story never made sense, and the media never touched it.

She'll probably be comfortable her entire life, unfortunately, but she won't be able to leave a financial legacy for her kids if she keeps spending as she has. Built that second home with airplane hanger and purchased the $1.6 million abode in AZ plus provided a nearly $300,000 mortgage so Bristol could purchase and remodel her home. These little dribs and drabs of spending will eventually catch up to her. Hey that's what trash does though, they blow through the money and live large for a generation and then go back to being trash without money.

ReplyDeleteThis family's mentality reminds me of Honey Boo Boo's mother, "Mama Jun'e Shannon. No matter the amount money she made from the show (rumored to be $50k per episode), her old patterns of 'being her true self' re-emerged after her split with 'Sugar Bear'.

The same mentality is with some lottery winners. If they were broke before they won the lottery, they'll spend every last dollar of their winnings so they become broke again. It's a mind set.
The analogy being with the Palin tribe, they may have money...for now. But their spending habits may soon put them in the red. With three generations living off Sarah and with fancy houses and expensive toys at that, this will probably not have a good ending.
Worse, since they are an uneducated lot, they will continue with their drunken brawls, screwing anything that moves, etc. It has become obvious that they're not going to change their mode of thinking or their lifestyle.
On the plus side, the Palins WILL keep embarrassing the GOP, which is a good thing because the GOP needs to be extremely embarrassed and held accountable for putting SP on the vice-presidential ballot.
As for John McCain, his family history and sorry ass excuse as a naval aviator plus his treatment of women, he needs to go. Like Don Young, John should have been put out to pasture decades ago.
As a daughter of a Republican father (identical to both John McCain and Don Young), there is NO WAY I could possibly vote Republican.

Methinks that Pops McCain is doing his part to tamp down any real investigations regarding the "Truth about Trig" in light of this 100k recompense to Matsu. When the actual story comes to light, it will also uncover the vetting missteps of McCain's campaign and complicity to this national deception.
