I apologize that I am not providing a transcript, but folks I just don;t have it in me today.
So here are a few of the lowlights.
On the Democrats use of the war on Women: "That was the stupidest thing I've seen in politics in quite some time."
On the possibility of the President to compromise with Republicans: "He's going to go balls to the wall opposite of what the American people want."
On the Republicans: "It's the GOP's turn to show us what they got. These establishment type especially."
On impeachment: "We need to get in there and start those investigations."
On what about her appearances on Fox make headlines: "Well I have the guts to call it like I see it. And a connectiveness to the American people I think, average hard working, patriotic Americans who just want the best for our country, and are very concerned for our children and our grand-children's future."
(That last is around the 4:30 mark and you can visibly see Palin burping on camera. The grimace following is really quite scrotum shriveling.)
On whether the Republican victory encourages her to consider running in 2016 (Actually I could answer this one. NO!): "Ah it was such a great night last night, and it's going to be a great two years if the GOP does what it's supposed to do. It encourages me in the sense that the wisdom of the people was made manifest in the vote so that tells you that we will have a very wise electorate in 2016 also. It's not about me though!"
Palin vomits forth several more bowls of word salad, but essentially she says what I said she would say, only without ever really having the guts to say it.
I think that right before the 2016 elections I will play this clip of Palin feeling quite pleased with herself and the Republican party, because you know THAT might be what it takes to anger the Democrats enough to get them off their asses and into the voting booths where they belong.
In fact that should be a bumper sticker "Want to piss off Sarah Palin? Vote Democrat!"

DeleteMost of my extended family are the target FOX demographic. They think people who drink and do drugs are all like those toothless, homeless people you see guzzling Listerine in some alley. I'm sure they have been around people who abuse alcohol and drugs, but I don't think they have been aware that X person is using Y substance. They don't know what anything except the most extreme, stereotypical symptoms look like. I've been HAMMERED around these people and they have no clue (and I know they don't, because if they did, my mother would hear about it, and she'd make sure I heard about it). Mitch will be the Senate Majority Leader, and the news people made it clear that Mitch does not like Ted's methods and tactics, for example, a government shutdown. Sarah lined up with Ted, as we saw from the pictures of Ted enjoying the warm Palin hospitality, I mean, photo shoot. There were reports that people did not want Ted to show up and campaign for them. Like many 'rill' Americans, I have known a number of 'rill' alcoholics in my 50 plus years of life.
ReplyDeleteSarah had more than one drink before that interview. That interview happened right after 8 am Wasilla time. So, that means Sarah is drinking in the morning.
In general, anyone who is drinking in the morning has a 'rill' problem with alcohol. She looks terrible, her eyes are bloodshot, she is burping at one point and she is making less sense than usual. And she is more animated than her normal. Yes, I think she had some liquid courage before that interview. Or a hair of the dog from the previous evening, or a little bit of both.
In any event, I think I will start watching these interviews with Sarah instead of relying on your transcript G. Her appearance in Denver was my first clue that Sarah may have an alcohol problem. And her behavior at the hoedown coupled with this interview makes me believe she is becoming or already is, a full blown alcoholic.
It must be hard for Sarah, who loves the limelight to be left behind this election cycle. She only was asked to come on the campaign trail twice while her buddy Ted Cruz was all over the Country. Her speaking engagements have obviously slowed down to almost nothing; her PAC donations are in crisis, and poor Sarah has to take to the bottle in an effort to escape the reality of passing her sell by date.
The parade has passed old Sarah by and now everyone is talking about the future. And no one is mentioning her name.
The blathering moron is preening. It is what she does.

Cronyism said the governor of Alaska who hired her unqualified high school buddies to cover her unqualified ass at the state capitol.
Scandals said the elected politician whose brand new two story house was built at the same time the Wasilla hockey rink was built with similar materials and there is no record of who built it or where the materials came from.
Lack of leadership said the mayor of Wasilla and the governor of Alaska whose husband had to sit in on meetings and was the unofficial co-mayor of a small town and co-governor of a state whose population is smaller than the population of New York City.

1. They mentioned that the "Shooter" was a Navy SEAL. We all know that the man who shot Bin Laden was an Alaska National Guard combat vet.
2. The identity of the shooter was revealed and it wasn't Alaska National Guard Track Palin.
