Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey
Bush and Cheney would be arrested in Canada...they've been told not to visit their country! That occurred quite awhile ago when the torture issue first came up.
George W Bush, Dick CHeney, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Donald Rumsfeld, John Bolton, and Condoleeza Rice are all war criminals for their respective parts in an unprovoked attack on Iraq, a sovereign nation that posed no threat whatever to the USA.
As a conservative, I am appalled at what's become of our side of the political divide in the last 25 years, between the extreme Christian right attempting to push religion, and the Koch faction shoving their Ayn Rand narcissistic doctrines down our throats.
The conflation of militant Christianity, American exceptionalism, big business, and fanatic right wing doctrine is a poisonous and dangerous brew, that threatens the foundation of our country.
The facts revealed by Assange and Snowden, and now this CIA report are just the tip of the iceberg, revealing how immoral and unethical governments can be pursuing radical ideology.
America's government needs to arrest these politicians that did allow the torture! Most specifically Cheney and Bush.
I so hope that President Obama does not provide them 'pardons' which would be an admission of their guilt. They need to be put on trial and executed! They are an embarrassment to our country and have given us a horrible name throughout the world!
Since they're STILL defending their actions, why not let them prove to the world that torture wasn't torture. I wanted President Obama to press charges so bad I could taste it, but that would just put him in the same category they are. What we need in a UN tribunal, No WONDER the rwnj's have to go way back to Ronnie Raygun for their "saint", and even that's a stretch.
Gee joe, turn people to torturers? I think you assume they would have been unethical as you.

DeleteThe Bush/Cheney chickens are finally coming home to roost.

This is the reason W. and Cheney do not travel abroad. Not even to Canada. Even if they are not tried and convicted, they are prisoners.
