German human rights group files criminal complaint against Bush Administration in wake of torture report.

Courtesy of Democracy Now:

A human rights group in Berlin, Germany, has filed a criminal complaint against the architects of the George W. Bush administration’s torture program. The European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights has accused former Bush administration officials, including CIA Director George Tenet and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, of war crimes, and called for an immediate investigation by a German prosecutor. The move follows the release of a Senate report on CIA torture which includes the case of a German citizen, Khalid El-Masri, who was captured by CIA agents in 2004 due to mistaken identity and tortured at a secret prison in Afghanistan. So far, no one involved in the CIA torture program has been charged with a crime — except the whistleblower John Kiriakou, who exposed it. We speak to Michael Ratner, president emeritus of the Center for Constitutional Rights and chairman of the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights, and longtime defense attorney Martin Garbus.

So here's my question.

Are we going to allow ourselves to be shown up by the Germans?

After all we have several human rights groups here in America, so what in the hell is the holdup?

Make sure they get that unnamed female CIA agent who was the architect of all this BS, including missing the warnings on 9/11.

Shock Poll: The More Religious You Are, The More You Think Torture Is Justified

Thou Shalt Not Torture? According to a new MSNBC poll the only group that seems to agree with that statement are the non-religious. White Christians, evangelical Protestant, non-evangelical Protestant, and Catholic all love the torture.

If President Obama pardons them as he is walking out the door Jan 20, 2017 it will close down any US prosecutions but certainly open the door for international prosecutions. It is a backdoor way of seeing some justice done since, apparently, we can't do anything here for fear of political repercussions.

The US would not turn any of them over to any other courts. It would take kidnappers to rope them up and get them out of the country. Not likely to happen. It would give outlaws a legitimate reason to try and poison or capture them in America.

If terrorists are willing to threaten US citizens as things are (without our worst outlaws being held accountable for horrendous murder and mayhem) why wouldn't there be more support for terrorists to come here and carry on with more terrorist acts?

Homeland Security should be on high alert and it will be costly to protect the Bush Warmongering criminals.

It would be putting the safety of Americans first for America to indict our own war criminals.

By shirking our duty and our nation as a nation of laws we are leaving all citizens in grave danger.

I would prefer it not to be terrorists that try to hold Bush gang accountable. They will possibly create more collateral damage.

I hope we can return to a nation of laws and respect those laws that benefit the people.

The Gang of Seven -- all this photo needs are captions over their heads. I'll start: Dick Cheney... "If you try and prosecute...I'll torture YOU."

It wont happen because majority of citizens think the situation warranted torture.America continues to be conservative..so people elect the leaders that are representative.

Or conservatives are better cheaters and con their way to be elected. America may not be conservative, it may just be violated at election time.

It seems as individuals we hate torture but as a nation of people, err not so much. We do not have a problem if it is made to look like USA USA USA is protecting itself from bad people of another country.
