Just a reminder that Nicolle Wallace is still just a Bush Administration apologist.

Courtesy of The Washington Free Beacon:

“I think months after 9/11 there were three people who we thought knew about imminent attacks, and we did whatever we had to do, and I pray to God that until the end of time we do whatever we have to do to find out what’s happening,” Wallace said on Tuesday’s Morning Joe. “And the notion that this somehow makes America less great is asinine and dangerous.”

Wallace also slammed White House Spokesman Josh Earnest for failing to admit that the CIA’s interrogation techniques did not yield information instrumental in finding and killing Osama bin Laden.

“I have never felt more frustrated with this White House’s inability to speak clearly than I was yesterday when Jon Karl was pushing Josh Earnest to say whether Obama found the information gleaned helpful in killing bin Laden,” Wallace said.

“That’s what this is about… The notion that what we do affects the behavior of terrorists is a lie. It’s a lie perpetrated by political correctness and by liberals and it’s dangerous.”

I know that when dealing with Sarah Palin we often embrace the adage "The enemy of my enemy is my friend," but in the case of Wallace we need to remember who she is and where she came from.

By the way the Senate torture report says that there were more than three detainees waterboarded and that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded 183 times. And the "intelligence" he gave up was absolutely worthless.

What I find most damning is that Wallace's opinion is in direct conflict with her old boss John McCain's position.

The Bush Administration is guilty of war crimes and of lying to the American people. Period.

And nothing that Nicolle Wallace, Dick Cheney, or any other conservative pundit has to say will change that.

Keep in mind that people who spent the MOST time around Sarah in 2008 election are still personal friends with her. Not just her PAC employees either.

Nicolle prepped her for a few interviews that went the way of Biden's HIDDEN interviews (you'd admitted he is stupid)

After that she didn't see her. And in Alaska in Sept, they were chummy. Sarah is a hospital and nice person.

But even Hillary, a career national politician showed great stress on her campaign. Are you surprised a NEWBIE did? I mean, Sarah had at least 2 rallies a day for 2.5 months. That on top of events, meetings, mom meetings, family time, and debate prep. And she helped Bristol with some things, though Sallyhelped out too since Levi was present (at work) And Bristol was on trail for 3 weeks.

So yeah, I'd say youre all giant hypocrites in criticism of one party when the future democratic nomination (hillary) was no different

What a crock of hogwash, you Palin-licking moron.

No one familiar with VP Biden, or his record, or his education, or his accomplishments, thinks he's stupid. He is a very intelligent man who makes verbal gaffes on occasion, but here is one major difference between him and sleazy low-life Palin. When VP Biden makes a mistake, he admits it. Palin does not.

Another major difference between VP Biden and quitter Palin is that one reason for VP Biden's popularity, including with our allies around the world, is that VP Biden tends to say exactly what he thinks without bullshitting everyone.

Every word out of Palin's self-serving yap is a lie.

Every word of your asinine comment is a lie.

Boohoo. Shit for brains Palin had all these new things to do. It was hard! She had to do rallies! Waah! Well, she should have known that she was not ready for prime time. Your jackassy queen was NOT a NEWBIE! She had been in political campaigns before and if she had a single brain cell in that empty head of hers and was not functionally illiterate, she would have had a grasp of the monumental amount of work and stress in a presidential campaign. Your stupid excuses for her are just an admission that she was not qualified.

But we all know just how greedy and stupid Palin is, don't we?

They were deep in their criminal cover up and Wallace was right there, leading the criminals. Rewriting Sarah's history and feeding her crap so she could pretend she was something she was not. Wallace was paid to act nice and schmooze with the Palins. If you call those kind of people and relationships "nice" you have some serious issues.

      Nicole Wallace

Cheney/Bush breaking the law and their lies and deception. Their policy regarding torture. Republicans claim that does not make America less great and the United States of America is awesome.

The same could be said about a man that was a popular star but lied about drugging and raping girls and women for years.

First she says that releasing the REPORT puts American lives in danger (the troops abroad I guess), but that the TORURE ITSELF did not put people in danger (that was liberal "political correctness"). Maybe add that clip to your post.

I suppose we should pardon the Japanese who water-boarded Americans after WWII and were put on trial and convicted of war crimes. We should pardon some Nazis who were put on trial for mistreatment of prisoners (outside of the Holocaust of course).

It seems that we went down this very dark road and in the quest for justice, we became what we most detested. We became them. And that is shameful.

I don't understand how anyone can think better of Nicole Wallace for what she revealed about Palin in Game Change. What she revealed about herself is that even after seeing what an incompetent trainwreck McCain had picked for a running mate, she kept it behind the curtain as best she could and still tried to put Palin in Washington - a heartbeat away from becoming President of the United States. Anyone who could do that clearly is not someone motivated by doing what's right. Yesterday Wallace claimed that because the Republicans refused to sign the Torture Report, it lacked credibility - revealing that she is either still a loyal party hack or that she is incapable of seeing through such a transparent political gambit. I'm going with the former.

I think that Nicole IS extremely attractive, almost beautiful, very easy on the eye--and the Repubs know it, that's why they have kept her propped up. The Rove, Cheney cabal put her in the White House and have kept her on the stage. They ALLOWED her to write the 'fiction' book exposing Palin because they knew/know that Palin is a huge liability and crazy and so they wanted to shun her from the mainstream--which is why they did not invite her to the Repub convention--which would be unheard of, such a public shaming. But they knew that she had tainted their brand. Nicole, on the other hand, is fresh, charming, pretty and BRIGHT. She is very smart and well spoken and also one of the only Repub women who is all that. So they NEED HER. They are giving her the big opportunities. She is their spokesperson. Otherwise she wouldn't still be hanging around doing political interviews after landing the women's talk show gig. She is their prop, and she obviously knows it since she will only go so far and is very diplomatic about Sarah Palin even while she throws her barbs letting everyone know that she was crazy, dumb and unqualified. But she is definitely a spokesperson from the establishment Repubs. They want to win next time--if they do they must get the crazy people out of the party, shun all the Tea Party folks.

Something must be troubling her or is she pregnant? She is not the same size. She has lost much of her attractiveness, her hair is kind of cute. That doesn't matter in the least to most people. It is obviously important to some. Better than talking about the specifics of what they believe in and are standing up for. "Torture" can be many things. What most Republicans are saying now is irrelevant. If they can be specific they might be able to make a case. Blabbering is a waste of Republican time so let them blabber.

Too bad Wallace gets herself so worked up and can't handle things like a TV personality needs to be able to manage.

Why can't the apologists mention that this is not only about America. This is a matter for the world stage. Cheney and crooks don't have to worry about the USA, they've already destroyed so much. It is the world stage now. The Geneva Conventions Laws.

Not that Congress would turn the war criminals over, but they will be hunted and caught.

Unfortunately, for the GOP, they can't shun the TeaBaggers because they need their votes. The establishment, $2500-suit-wearing, "country club" Republicans have to lower themselves to emulating the ideology of the great unwashed "God, Guns and Babies" crowd, actually groveling at their feet and pretending to be "one of them" because they require their support.

Not that the Republicans ever reciprocate once elected, nope, they keep these people dumb, dirty and poor and the Baggers are too stupid to realize that their "new shiny friends" in Brooks Brother's suits really don't have their backs and really don't give two shits about them as people, only about their vote.

The Establishment GOP NEEDS the TeaBaggers for their votes, they can't win without them, and it's hilarious to watch the power brokers hold their noses and crawl in-between the Bagger's, cheap, dirty, 100 thread count Walmart sheets in order to secure their votes. Not even a good dry cleaning will get that smell out of fine worsted wool :-)

Republicans made a huge mistake to have Wallace and Schmidt only do a partial job on their book. It was something but over all a huge failure not to go the whole 9 yards. Their half-ass work is a failure in the end because they missed a golden opportunity.

It is clearly wearing Nicole Wallace down. She isn't looking or acting alright any longer. She is loosing her professional television act and coming off annoying and grating on the nerves. Plus she has nothing substantial to say about this. She will be on anti-depressants and mood altering meds soon if not already going the route. She could get help from the Republicans to make her more presentable again. They are giving her the big opportunities and she is flunking out.

Why doesn't Nicole seek the help she needs?

Now Nicole is the crazy one and if you pay no attention to content, Sarah Palin's ghost writer seems more regular. With the Republicans it is looking like the crazy can win now. If not win, they can do enough damage to destroy the entire GOP. Now that they have Dick Cheney and his puppets helping out so much.

Interesting tidbit that the CIA actually hired an outside company, started by two psychologists, and paid them $80Million so they could teach them (the CIA) how to torture people...

  18. Words of a former Governor , Vietnam Veteran, and Navy Seal Jesse Ventura on Dick Cheney's knowledge of what torture is? Pretty much nails it

"Well let me look right into the camera and say 'Dick Cheney, how the hell would you know? How the hell do you even have an opinion on it Dick Cheney? You couldn't even go to boot camp. You wouldn't even be successful there.' And they don't torture you per say at boot camp. They just change you from civilian to the military way of thinking and they do it pretty quickly and they do it pretty forcefully. But I went through something Dick, it was called SERE school, Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape. And at that school, I was water boarded, Dick Cheney. Not only did I go through boot camp, I went through SERE school, Army Airborne school. I went through Seal Cadre SBI advanced guerrilla warfare school. But I also went through BUD/S Dick, Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training. The most difficult training in the United States military, bar none. And guess what Dick, this former frogman is looking at you, you chicken hawk, and I'm telling you waterboarding is torture, Dick. I was a competitive swimmer, Dick. I know how to swim, I'm used to the water, I'm a frogman, Dick. I've been in the water probably longer in 3 weeks then the amount of time you have showered in your life, Dick. What the hell would you know about the definition of torture, Dick Cheney? You're a guy who when it was your time to go in the front and show what you had, to stand up for your country, you ran and hid. And now you come back, the chicken hawk you are, and you're gonna define what torture is? You are gonna tell us, who were in the military, guys who went to SERE school, guys who unfortunately became POWs, Dick Cheney you're gonna define torture? That's bullshit Dick Cheney, just like you, you're bullshit."

All past POTUSs, along w/our current one, that served when war was going on - have been involved w/torture.

America is no better than other countries throughout the world that have tortured.

And, Americans need to get a gripe on the truth! That is why none of the past POTUSs have ever gone to trial for torture under their watches!

Don't believe one word of the hype we are currently watching via our media!

  22. Just remember, that Nicole Wallace would be nothing more than a pimple on the ass Bush / DICK history gathering dragon feces remains in the Mountain Hall of the Screaming Alaskan Monkey Queen, if had not been for Dr. Maddow personally reaching out and giving Nicole a hand in re-habiliting her public persona.. If it had not been for Rachel, POOF! Toast..

But yesterday, Ms. Wallace showed her true colors and almost lost it in tears when she turned into a blithering, slobbering DICK automoton and ranted about what great and exceptional people Bush, DICK and the rest of that slime team were in defending American exceptionalism... She LOST IT !!

In everyon's life, mthere seems to be that one individual that seems over time to be your real pal and then turns on you trying to jam a machete thru your chest and it's hard recovering from that betrayal. Yesterday, Wallace betrayed us all by turning on Maddow.

Hopefully, Nicole will now fade into the toxic waste dump of the Bush era and be buried with the rest of the swill from those days in our past.

Nicholle reminds me of one of those bobble heads on the dashboard, when the going gets rough, smile and bobble your head. So Nicholle, why was it, months later, when asked about getting Bin Laden, President Bush jr said something to the effect that he's not a priority....doesn't care where he is.... etc etc"??? Go ahead, explain that loudly so it sounds true,

Was Cheney ever in the Executive Branch or was he just in control of the CIA? The VP position was the set up to control the puppet President.

“That’s what this is about… The notion that what we do affects the behavior of terrorists is a lie. It’s a lie perpetrated by political correctness and by liberals and it’s dangerous.”
    ------------------------------------------------
What an ignorant comment. They never stop to think how this makes us look as a nation. If we condone torture, then obviously we can’t condemn other countries that torture prisoners. If our government doesn’t follow the Geneva Convention, how can we demand our troops are treated properly if they are taken prisoner?
