Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

"No one’s going to pay me to watch him anymore, so fuck that noise." Stephen Colbert finally breaks character and reveals how he REALLY feels about Bill O'Reilly.
Click the image and allow the genius to wash over you.
Is it wrong that I found this so satisfying?
Two more shows and then we lose this amazing show.
I love him so much! And he truly is the nicest person ever--I got to ask him a question when I was in his studio audience and he even shot me one of those red wrist-strong bracelets after that.
I share your tears, Gryph-but we still have "Last Week Tonight" with John Oliver and I'm looking forward to Larry Wilmore's upcoming show. Good stuff. Don't despair! Love, Georgia
There must be a lot of dust in that fog of war that magically absolves us of "the words" part of the report cause my eyeballs are sweating as well. I'll miss his show and wit a lot and when the tears dry, I'll remember all the good times I had watching him.
Worlds apart in their super-powerfully compelling philosophies, thus the Catholic practice and designation. (Catholic means universal. More than half of the planet's 2-billion-plus Christians are Catholics.) Give it some thought.
He is. But Letterman isn't retiring until end of May 2015. Not sure if Colbert is ending the Report early to get ready for an immediate follow to Dave's retirement or there will be a further break.
I hope Colbert keeps his people. His writers have been great and I'm sure they can transition to late night on a major network just fine.
Like, maybe, interviewing David Letterman for his last show of the Colbert Report....and interviewing David Letterman for his first show of The Late Show.
It is going to be pretty hard to top that interview with Smaug, though. And the timing was perfect with those three TV mag covers.
The Colbert Report and the Daly show is what kept me sane during the bush years. These men are intelligent and wonderful. BTW ALL of their FB "likes" are real, not like the purchased palin "likes" and "comments."

ReplyDeleteAnd he can sing!
Deletejk, he actually worked a song into his answer to my question. Then he sang the same song at the start of the show!
DeleteLucky!

ReplyDeleteNot all of us get HBO.
DeleteAt least I'll still have Jon Stewart.
I'll see what Larry Wilmore does with The Nightly Show. (Brilliant new title. What else would fit?)

ReplyDeleteI went to a taping….HO Boy! You should have heard what he said then!
ReplyDeleteLove Colbert.
ReplyDeleteIndeed---fuck that noise.
I love this man.
ReplyDeleteMay he find great success in Late Night.
Devout Catholics, both of them.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant, simply brilliant!
I thought he was replacing letterman
