Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Wanna bet?
These billboards are still visible in Kentucky despite the fact that project has hit an insurmountable hurdle.
Hmmmmmm. I may be an atheist now but I do remember a little proverb about pride and a haughty spirit going before a fall. Mr. Ham needed to check himself.
What is comical is that his idiot fan base is the same pack of morons that prattle endlessly about 'Murkin exceptionalism but believe that somehow our bridges, roads, utility grids, etc., do not need any upkeep (taxes) because Jeebus.
They are not chipping in to help their precious museum because they figure the same magic will make it happen. In other words, not their responsibility. Jeebus will handle it.
Cheapskates that will not put their money where their mouths are.
Now, of course, it is the ebil gummint gonna shut them down. Perfect excuse!
Clearly in Ham's little mind Liberal is now synonymous with Atheist. I guess any who dare to think get lumped together on his enemies list. Maybe what crushed this project was the weight of Ham's karma.
But at least we in Wasilla still have little baby Jesus, in his van, down by the lake. (Seriously, years ago someone cut out the side of an old van, put in plexiglass, and staged a nativity scene inside of it. The van is towed to the Wasilla Lake Park each December and parked with the rest of the xmas displays...must be seen to believed! Suffice it to say their budget was a bit more realistic than Ham's Ark...baby steps Ken Ham, baby steps...)
He couldn't afford to build his little boat park but he could afford to piss away money on how many billboards? I read somewhere 16.

What is it with these so called Christians, always have to say something negative or demean others in order to make a point.
ReplyDeletethey probable wouldn't know a liberal if they saw one.

Can't even imagine filling out a job application:
ReplyDeletePosition:
Carpenter building Kentucky Ark
Reason for leaving:
Jeebus didn't have enough money.

ReplyDeleteSounds like Answering Generis.org (Ken Ham) just tempted God with the "Thank God you can't sink this ship" message.
ReplyDeleteThis mega money project/capitalist/circus Ham is creating would never get heaven's approval. Maybe he's hitting hurdles from the One he tempts.

ReplyDeleteThey found a virgin and three wise men in Wasilla?
DeleteI do not laugh out loud to many posts, but at Anon 4:23's post, I did laugh out loud!
DeleteI guess it's time to close up shop in Kentucky. How can Ken find a place to build something that never was and can't possibly meet building codes?
