Apparently the White House has no doubt who was behind the Sony hack as President announces new sanctions against North Korea.

I'm coming for you Kim Jong Un. I'm coming for you.
Courtesy of HuffPo:

Today, the President issued an Executive Order (E.O.) authorizing additional sanctions on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. This E.O. is a response to the Government of North Korea’s ongoing provocative, destabilizing, and repressive actions and policies, particularly its destructive and coercive cyber attack on Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The E.O. authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to impose sanctions on individuals and entities associated with the Government of North Korea. We take seriously North Korea’s attack that aimed to create destructive financial effects on a U.S. company and to threaten artists and other individuals with the goal of restricting their right to free expression.

As the President has said, our response to North Korea's attack against Sony Pictures Entertainment will be proportional, and will take place at a time and in a manner of our choosing. Today's actions are the first aspect of our response.

Okay well that's that then.

At this point I guess it really does not matter if others doubt that North Korea was behind the hack, they are the ones getting knee capped over it.

Damn that Seth Rogen is such a trouble maker.

  1. O/T I've recently fallen in love with a North of the border woman who makes palin look like what she is. a shallow, simpleton, strumpet. I'm in love with Dr Michelle Oakley, Yukon Vet.
She resides in the reality TV world on NatGeo Wild.
What a woman. What a family. What a balance to the Babble-on Bitch.

SONY was a hack waiting to happen. They got what they deserved.

North Korea may or may not be the source of the hack. But remember how positive our government was about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? I am skeptical about any claim that a foreign government has harmed us when the story comes with the bullshit cover that, OH GOSH, of course the proof is too secret, you just have to TRUST us.

Maybe if they get someone really trustworthy like Colin Powell to sell the tale to United Nations, then I might believe it. Uh, nuh.

    O/T:
I do hope your post on Monday is really, really good, because Sarah Palin is going to go full-throttle victim mode after this Trig on a dog fiasco. Let's hope your source is ready and willing to spill some really big beans (I have faith that she is).

  4. I agree, 7:54. There is probably a lot I don't to understand about circumstances surrounding palin, but Geez, Louise, have we not suffered enough in this county at the hands, and mouth, of this reprehensible trollop?? If Alaskans want to be respected for their individuality and willingness to forge ahead on their own, why are they so slow and wimpy at bearing witness to the transgressions and falsehoods of this strumpet?
Get a GD grip, and get it done.

I think the media was the group that started it wasn't North Korea that did the hacking.

Remember, President Obama has all types of sources available to him that prove it was and is acting accordingly. There is no way in hell he would put up sanctions against them if he wasn't sure. He doesn't operate like that!

I'm so glad he is our POTUS. The Republicans and some of the media, are nothing more than trouble makers, racists and like to obstruct President Obama and our government. Nothing new from them. They could care less about the folks that elected them, the poor and the middle class.

Vote them out of office in 2016 if they are up for reelection - in the U.S. Congress, governors and in state Legislatures!

      "if he wasn't sure"

Sorry, not good enough. "Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq" is now the standard for quality of proof required on the world stage.

This is mostly symbolic, we've already sanctioned them to smithereens for starving their own people to death, and they took on Sony. I can understand why Obama is doing this, but he better put proof and teeth behind it because of, you know, the lying sacks of shit that held us hostage for eight years.
President Obama's too smart to take action without proof.
