Anyhow leaving that aside they recently posted a link to a blog weighing in on the kerfuffle between Bill O'Reilly and Palin while also claiming that Palin was right about something, and then the Facebook page owner also added this tidbit:

I know right? I mean that is so ridiculous that most of us would not even bother refuting and it, and instead focus on trying to combat a case of the giggles.

You know one could be excuses for simply not taking this seriously and simply ignoring comments on an anti-Obama Facebook page, but then we have to remember that there is an ever shrinking demographic in the country whose ability to reason is so retarded that they actually might consider the possibility that Palin is indeed smarter, more capable, or more experienced than the rather amazing President Barack Obama.
And it is for those sad sorry excuses for humanity that I share this article.

DeleteYou forget that some of our most cherished Governors were Democrats, in fact Bill Egan, our first Governor was a Democrat. Tony Knowles was voted in for two terms as Governor. If you look at state election figures you'll see that generally our elections are very close, by no means are results overwhelmingly Democratic or Republican but usually within a few points of each other.
Prior to the pipeline days Alaska was overwhelmingly blue but due to the influx of conservative christians from points south Republicans began to have more influence, that's why we're always trying to get those people to go back from where they came. :-)

Some Broadcast degrees are Science degrees because you learn about cameras, studio lighting, graphics etc. We did not have many writing classes, that is probably why SP sucks at writing and such.

President Obama and First Lady Michele work. They don't daily post whines and pity-party "oh, the terrible media, oh, oh oh poor poor us/we are victims" EVER. Palin does, and she incites her daughter to do the same.
President Obama visits the damaged areas hit by natural disasters and opens Federal wallets immediate for aid to communities, and then gets publicly condemned for promoting big government. Palin just posts nasty snarky one-iners and zingers and does absolutely nothing for people, except ask them to donate to a charity, while also asking them to donate to her PAC.
There is a very obvious difference between the character of President Obama and Sarah Palin. He is does a job that requires a great character, and she refuses to work at a job that requires any character. The job that Sarah Palin pursues is the one that gives her immediate gratification and adulation. And while the camera lights are flashing, her true nature shines through.
I love the fact that Obama is concerned about the middle class and wages. He shows his sincerity when he allows millions of illegal immigrants into the country to take away jobs from Americans. And besides importing diseased ebola patients onto our shores, we also now have an outbreak of measles spread by those immigrants.

The first outbreak was at Disney World, it's possible but highly unlikely that an "illegal immigrant" crossed the border and headed for Disney World. Personally, I think it was most likely spread at Disney World by a kid being home schooled by ignorant parents who exercised their "right" to subject their kid and others to a bad disease. You can't really prove my statement is wrong anymore than you can prove your statement is right.
If you want to talk the spread of diseases, take Swine Flu. It originated at a Smithfield pork processing plant deep in Mexico. It spread throughout the world because Smithfield shipped pork throughout the world.
Smithfield is an American corporation and was (at least at that time) the largest pork producer in the world. So do we blame the Mexicans? Or do we blame a very successful but careless American corporation.

"Looking at this dynamic personality now, it mystifies me that I wouldn't remember her," said Jim Fisher, Palin's journalism instructor at the University of Idaho, where she graduated with a bachelor of science degree in journalism in 1987.
Palin, he said, took his public affairs reporting class, an upper-division course limited to 15 students. "It's the funniest damn thing," Fisher said. "No one can recall her."
"I don't remember her," said Roy Atwood, Palin's academic advisor at the university.
Indeed, interviews with a dozen professors yielded not a single snippet of a memory.
Most were perplexed and frustrated that they could offer no insight into a woman who has become their most famous former student. Only a few classmates recalled her, and those with the strongest memories were people she had grown up with in Alaska.

ReplyDeleteApparently President Obama thinks that swatting a fly that is pestering one's person is okay but he won't stomp on a spider that is just walking around the floor. I personally think he's being very generous. I'm willing to swat at or stomp on any insect that thinks it can live in my house. There's lots of great outdoors for the bugs.

ReplyDeleteAbove Resume comparisons are a joke! Let me mention a couple of FACTS regarding Sarah Palins.
ReplyDelete1. She was let go from Channel 2 in Anchorage as a sports announcer. They had her cover the "Great Alaska Shootout" (Basketball) and while doing so she slept with one of the black basketball players participating. She lost her job directly afterwards. And, the basketball player publically admitted sleeping with her.
2. No proof has ever been provided by her or the John McCain campaign that she actually earned a degree in Journalism. Everything all these years later has indicated she never did! She reflects abilities in journalism!
3. Mayor of Wasilla - she actually hired two people to do the job for her shortly after being elected. Plus, she left the small town in huge debt!
4. She quit the Gas and Oil commission job she was appointed.
5. She quit as Gov of Alaska mid term.
Sarah Palin has NO outstanding credentials in Alaska and in no ways compares to anything on the Resume of President Obama!

ReplyDeleteI will believe she graduated from UI when there is "long form" proof presented for the public. Has ANYONE been able to get UI to comment on whether she graduated other than to say "No comment?" Usually universities are falling all over themselves to present to the public all the famous alumni - they use it as a recruiting tool. "Look who graduated from our great school!" Where is that from UI? Hey, employers can request verification of these things right? How about a P.I. that's worth his/her fees?

DeleteIt is common knowledge that college credits do not readily transfer between schools. Unless she was an outstanding athlete and/or academic, she could not have graduated in her stated timeline.

Not only do credits not transfer readily, but most universities/colleges require that you attend at least 2 years before they grant a degree.
DeleteAlso agree with above comments, journalism is usually a BA degree and as I recall Univ of Idaho only has a communication/journalism degree- but I could be wrong.
I think her blatant lying about having a degree may very well be her undoing. No one takes kindly to lack of truthiness when it comes to military records, merit awards and degrees from institutions of higher learning. People actually holding high power positions have been taken down after their dishonesty about accomplishments were revealed.
DeleteTo trasnfer credits you have to jump trhough hoops. No only does it take work but diligence. My son switched colleges and some credits did not apply to the college he wanted to transfer to & he had do a lot of foot work. I doubt this quitter woman would bother to follow through.

ReplyDelete1) November 1987 was six months after Sarah claims to have grabbed her diploma and hightailed it back to Alaska and Todd.
2) Yet on 22 January 1988, the Anchorage Daily News reported, “Sarah Heath will make her debut as a sportscaster the end of this month on KTUU, filing in for John Hernandez. Heath is a longtime resident of Alaska and a Wasilla High graduate who went to the University of Idaho*."
*It is important to note that the ADN lists Sarah as a “graduate” of Wasilla High but only says she “went” to the U of I. This is polite newspeak for “this person attended classes but did not actually receive a degree.” KTUU’s press release on Sarah Heath evidently did not list her as a graduate of the University of Idaho.
3) Since her time at KTUU, Sarah has in all likelihood never applied for a job that would require her to submit her college transcripts.
4) We know that McCain’s vetting of Palin did not extend to an investigation of her college career, because according to Tania Thompson, spokeswoman for the University of Idaho, no one in the McCain campaign contacted the university.
