Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz (R) hit some of his main stump points while meeting with local leaders here Tuesday afternoon — promising to defend the Constitution, step back from the Obama administration's foreign policy and promote economic growth.
Then Texas's junior U.S. senator — visiting Beaumont to meet privately with county officials and others — got in a light sparring round with reporters, mainly working on his attacks on Hillary Rodham Clinton and defending his views on same-sex marriage.
"Is there something about the left — and I am going to put the media in this category — that is obsessed with sex?” Cruz asked after fielding multiple questions on gay rights. “ISIS is executing homosexuals — you want to talk about gay rights? This week was a very bad week for gay rights because the expansion of ISIS, the expansion of radical, theocratic, Islamic zealots that crucify Christians, that behead children and that murder homosexuals — that ought to be concerning you far more than asking six questions all on the same topic.”
Yeah gay people, stop asking for the right to get married, and just be grateful you still have your damn heads!
Cruz also took a shot at MSNBC and suggested that some states now have "mandatory same-sex marriage."
“With respect, I would suggest not drawing your questions from MSNBC — they have very few viewers and they are a radical and extreme partisan outlet,” Cruz told a reporter. He cited the expansion of “mandatory same-sex marriage” as an assault on religious liberty in the United States.
Wait, we have to get gay married now?
Did I miss a meeting?
And remember folks he's supposed to be the smart Republican candidate for President.
Why do people like Cruz have to spend so much time looking over the fence and ignoring the issues that they need to deal with right in their own yards? Oh yeah, because its so much easier to point a finger than to actually pick up a rake and start raking.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see that face, I want to smack it as hard as I can. He is, to me, the epitome of arrogant narcissatism (sp). How did he ever get a woman to marry him? She must have been really "hard up".
ReplyDeleteWhy oh why do we have to endure this idiot's existance?
9:34 I completely agree with you. he is a smarmy, oily-looking, overweight, bloviated, histrionic, narcissistic hate-monger. I find him physically, mentally, politically, and emotionally repugnant.
Delete11:48, I have actually had quite a few SC Repubes tell me they feel exactly the same way about this pig. Some even added a few adjectives you left out!
DeleteI really do believe that his face is the most unpleasant visage I've ever seen. It just gives me goose bumps.
Delete"Is there something about the left — and I am going to put the media in this category — that is obsessed with sex?” Since when is wanting to be married about SEX? I didn't marry my husband so we could have sex and I'm sure gay people feel the same way, especially since most of them who do want to get married have been together for years.
ReplyDeleteJust more Republican Projection for you. It's their second favorite past-time, when not obsessing over what everyone else is doing in the bedroom.
DeleteObviously, Rafael is cleverly positioning himself to dominate the curious cohort of Americans who are vehemently opposed to the looming specter of forced gay marriage while also rabidly in favor of random public transvaginal sonograms. If you add in preppers, hoarders, chicken fuckers, secessionists, anti-vaxxers, blackout drunks and functional meth addicts you start to see the formation of a powerful coalition guaranteed to back Cruz all the way thru his failed attempt to secure his party's nomination.
ReplyDeleteYou forgot one key category of folks that love Ted if their Savior Queen of ThongGazi and the FUC_U posters doesn't run:
DeletePalinbots
...and don't forget the gunnutz because they do love Cruz.
DeleteI am not particularly religious, but I really believe Ted Cruz is the devil incarnate.
ReplyDeleteWhy should any marriage be mandatory? How could you write a law like that?
ReplyDelete...and the stupid continues...
ReplyDeleteLOL that photo of him! He looks like some precocious child, getting 6 gold stars on his behavior sheet.
ReplyDeleteKnowing the whole time that he beat the crap out of another kid and took his lunch money at recess and blamed someone else.
DeleteThat photo of him makes me think he's just asked Miss Lindsey to spend the night. "It'll be fun!"
Delete"Mandatory gay marriage", huh? Mandatory marriage of any sort. Where do these creeps get this crap?
ReplyDeleteAfter looking at that photo of Cruz, my nightmares are going to start again. He is one creepy man.
A face only his mother could love.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, where is his Delaware-born mother who gave her son American citizenship?
DeleteIsn't Ted an anchor baby?
DeleteTed is an anchor baby, but he was born in Canada.
DeleteTed forgot to mention that ISIS is murdering gays by the hundreds, but did not explain clearly enough why he he agrees with this, or why he wants to emulate them in this respect.
He strikes me as someone who was taught to manipulate others at an early age by using his own body language, including his facial gestures, and by batting his eyes. Is he wearing/does he wear eye makeup?
"Mango not gay."
ReplyDeleteClearly the Republican playbook, as it's been for several years,
ReplyDeleteincludes a chapter on "How to Ignore the Press." An update for this year features "How to Attack the Press and Make Them the Enemy and the Topic of Discussion."
That man is just plain creepy. Like Sarah Palin creepy.
ReplyDeleteHe may be Ivy League and very intelligent but he is evil and ugly inside and out. Why is he so negative, suspicious and intolerant? He gets to blast Obama Care and then, when the need arises, sign on without answering any questions. Texas you REALLY blew it this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And add to that your vicious new governor... what were you thinking?
ReplyDeleteWell, the percentage of the eligible population in the state of Texas who will actually get off their ass and vote is abysmally low. Couple that with the fact with the majority of the people who do vote are batshit crazy, and you wind up with nutbags like Abbott and Cruz.
DeleteDon't blame me, I solemnly swear I did not vote for either one of these jackasses.
Hey Duggars.
ReplyDeleteYou really aren't fucking hypocritical bible thumping sex abusing molester enabling sexual freaks? This report makes me wonder. H/t SPHASH.
http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/bombshell-duggar-police-report-jim-bob-duggar-didn-t-report-son-josh-s-alleged-sex-offenses-for-more-than-a-year-58906
"Other bombshells in the police report are: Josh Duggar was investigated for multiple sex offenses — including forcible fondling — against five minors. Some of the alleged offenses investigated were felonies. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were interview by the Springdale Police department on Dec. 12, 2006. The report says that James told police he was alerted in March, 2002 by a female minor that Josh — who turned 14-years-old that month — had been touching her breasts and genitals while she slept. This allegedly happened on multiple occasions. In 2006, Jim Bob told police that in July, 2002 Josh admitted to fondling a minor’s breasts while she slept. “James said that they disciplined (redacted, Josh) after this incident.” The family did not alert authorities. "
But hey what can you say? Others might do things differently?
Bonus "Sarah Palin who are you pallin' around with" picture!

Oh one more dirty detail.
ReplyDelete"Jim Bob told police in 2006 that when Josh returned home in 2003, Jim Bob, accompanied by some of his church elders, took Josh to Arkansas State Trooper, Jim Hutchens. Jim Bob knew Hutchens personally. Hutchens did not take any official action and instead gave Josh a “very stern talk.” As In Touch magazine reports exclusively in this week’s issue, Hutchens is now serving 56-years in prison for child pornography. He took no action on the Duggar case."

You know people may have some more questions for the Duggars. Arkansas? Hmmm. That seems to ring a bell for fuckery in general.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/03/13/the-story-of-an-arkansas-politician-who-gave-away-his-adopted-child-and-the-tragedy-that-followed/
So, why was Hutchens, the pornographer, a close family friend? Why did Jim Bob lack the spiritual discernment to detect the darkness in Hutchens' presence? And why did Hutchens, despite his own personal sordid life, not take further action? Was there a hush-hush discussion between him and Duggar?? Lots more questions here.

Police are about to destroy all the names and details surrounding "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar's molestation case ... after one of his alleged victims asked a judge to protect her identity.

Time to bring Chris Hanson and To Catch A Predator back to pay a visit to the Duggar klan kompound.
ReplyDeleteI'd be surprised if there's only one chimo in that bunch. Especially since the convicted chimo state trooper was friends with Jim Bob Sr. Kind of slick how that all worked out with the statute of limitations.
The Druggar’s in my view are an absolutely disgrace to society as a whole. They seem selfish, and don’t care about the world’s ever expanding over population. Why would anyone be proud of the fact they had 19 children and are still going, and I don’t care if they can afford to raise that many kids or not. It’s just shows their arrogance and lack of responsibility to our future generations.
ReplyDeleteOpen hostility and derision towards any media you consider "leftist" (which is of course, all media except Fox News) is obviously the way to win the Presidency, Teddy Boy. Keep it up. It's not like you need the MAJORITY of voters to get elected! Just those billions of right-wing assholes that you keep claiming are out there, if only they could get any screen time what with all the LIBERAL media running around NOT letting them talk cause they're all too busy asking you about butt sex! This guy is the kind of douche guaranteed to make you feel "not-so-fresh". Nobody's buying!
ReplyDeleteI guess we should only have laws that the Canadian Ted Cruz approves of . Perhaps he will want bring back slavery because the bible thumpers used religion to justify that despicable time in our history.
ReplyDeleteHere in Maine, gay marriage became legal by a vote of the people. And Ted Cruz isn't going to take what the people in Maine voted for away.
All this crap I hear about objections to gay marriage is the exact crap I heard growing up in the 1960s regarding interracial marriage.
Audit these politicians...where is the money going? To whom? Where? ISIS supporters like Cruz will get him to lose his head soon... Those cells he has CARNAL knowledge of? They will be pissed when you don't pay up!

I get such a Gay vibe from this asshole.
ReplyDeleteThere have been plenty of rumors about that in Texas, one politician said hw was pulled from the "stag fag" closet. So, yes, I definitely get the vibe from him. He is deep in the closet, but it shows!
Deleteand he was molesting his own sisters in theis closeted family environment.. What's a normal guy to do? gee
ReplyDeletewell, at least he wasn't gay!
Delete“With respect, I would suggest not drawing your questions from MSNBC — they have very few viewers and they are a radical and extreme partisan outlet,” Cruz told a reporter. He cited the expansion of “mandatory same-sex marriage” as an assault on religious liberty in the United States."
ReplyDeleteI'm going to miss Uncle Fred. :(
Will we assigned a same sex marriage partner, or should I start looking around to find some nice lady on my own?
I'm betting within 6 months we'll discover Teddy has a profile on a gay dating site that just shows his naked body from the neck down and a screen name of "CruzinForDaddies"
ReplyDeleteMandatory Same Sex Marriage, you know, I think he's got a case of wishful thinking. I think he needs to clear out his own closet, that photo made my gaydar need re calibrating.
