It's presidential campaign launch season, and Facebook has tracked reactions to each candidate's official announcement since Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) became the first major candidate to jump into the race in March. The figures include all interactions (likes, posts, comments, shares), positive or negative. They're less an indication of how popular someone is than of how much interest there is in them, from either side. With numbers now in for Jeb Bush's announcement, Hillary Clinton is far, far ahead.
In the 24 hours surrounding Clinton's announcement on April 12, 4.7 million people produced 10.1 million interactions on Facebook. Cruz is a very distant second, with 2.1 million people creating 5.5 million interactions, about half of Hillary's performance. Here's a chart showing the number of interactions for each candidate, rather than the number of people interacting about each:
Looking good for Hillary, and really who can blame people for rushing to give her their support with so many frightening individuals now vying for the Republican nomination?
I noticed that this chart was done before the Donald tossed his hair into the ring. I wonder how many tepid responses there were to his announcement on Facebook?
Donald Trump is a joke, but then, the entire GOP is like a bad joke on the country...since they elected St. Ronnie. I am for Hillary and Bernie both..haven't sent money to either yet. I love seeing the true grassroots swell of support for Bernie, and those of us who were all in for Hill last time are still here. I just think it's way too early for all of this...let the President get more done before people shove him aside.
ReplyDeleteI am very confident that the GOP will flame out totally before next fall..a bunch of rich, white, greedy, creeps. And that includes Jindal and Cruz and Rubio, who are about as white as the President (but suddenly not being 110% white and American makes no difference...but they aren't racist.)
I heard Lyin' Ryan on the radio today talking about fast track, how wonderful it is and that all of the arguments against it are completely false. Knowing those statements are coming from him convinces me more than ever it is a bad idea and everything he said is actually the complete opposite.
DeleteBernie Sanders has also made a respectable showing. He is sixth in the field and ahead of Jeb Bush, Mike Huckabee and Rick Perry.
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump didn't even make the list. Or maybe they did this before his announcement. Doesn't really matter. He'll be dead last.
Remember TRUMP the "birther"?
ReplyDeleteRemember “I have people that have been studying [the birth certificate] and they cannot believe what they’re finding"?
Remember when TRUMP released those findings?
Nah, me neither. TRUMP, Clown or Idiot?
He can't be both?
DeleteBoth and then some. The idiot was hawking his new cologne (made in China, available at Macy's) called "Success". Why would he name a cologne after President Obama? I'm sure POTUS had more sense in his pinky fingernail then Donald Trump has in one strand of his polyester hair.
DeleteThey interviewed Trumpbots in front of his buliding on NBC today, it was the funniest thing since Sarah's book tours. They were asked to sniff the colgne and give their opinion. They used terms like "common sense" "He knows business" "He's a smart man, we need him to create jobs" etc etc. They panned the "crowd" of "actors" and then showed signs from protesters. "He created thousands of good jobs in China" etc etc.
Interesting..

Gee, I don't see Sarah Palin on that list. The Pee Ponders better ask for their money back.
ReplyDeleteHilary Rotten Clinton
ReplyDeleteHead of the Clinton Crime family
Even worse than the Kenyan Muslim Marxist
Enjoy your Ramadan holidays, Barry
Bwahahahahaha.
DeleteHomeschooled and then straight to Liberty U?
Hillary, so unappealing.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we need a young, vivacious, inexperienced bimbo or someone like carly fiorina. LOL People with too much botox and over-processed straw poll hair.
DeleteI'd like to see either Hillary or Bernie or both debate all the clowns one on one on any issue.
I'd be 100% inclined to agree with you, however
ReplyDeletethis change INSTANTANEOUSLY mended my issues. Additionally, it
appears the "majority" of the 80/443 LoL traffic is at the start of
the game, therefore it may possibly be for sport diagnostics for Riot, for anti-cheating measures,
for launching in information/resources...
honestly the only individual who can discuss this would be a riot
worker.
