Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

I don't usually say amen, but amen.
A life dedicated to caring for children, is a life well spent indeed.
Yea, should be "than" rather than "then". Many people make that mistake. I was wondering if that was a quote then it should have "sic" after the word then.
Getting it right from the start, and nurturing children instead of damaging them. It's so simple but society needs constant reminders of this. Something for us all to work on.
Once a piece of paper is crumpled the wrinkles and creases remain, even if ironed. So too a person may rise above neglect and abuse but the scars always remain.
I dream of a generation of kids untouched by abuse. I dream of a time where all understand what is done to one is done to all.
Guess I listened to MLKJr, John Lennon, Ghandi, Christ, and the Buddha too much.
It's a great quote, as is almost anything said by Frederick Douglass.
But I'm wary of Cory Booker and wonder if he's using the Douglass quote in his quest to push private education or to promote New Apostolic Reformation evangelism in inner cities like he did in Newark.
Great Quote! Time nurturing and raising your family is never wasted. It's an investment in the future. I say things to my kids and hear my mom's words tumbling from my lips and it freaks me out sometimes, but she was right. "Wait till you have your own, then you'll understand" I vaguely remember rolling my eyes, When I had my first child, she gave me a framed print with the words "You're their parent first, being friends can wait till they have their own" . And she'd say "Support her neck, have her baptized, you gotta get her baptized.... oh and earrings.... and..."
Then?

DeleteThen? This is so annoying! A check by another set of eyes could have eliminated this mistake!
DeleteExcellent message!
